This review is specifically regarding our experience with our photographer leading up to and on our wedding day, as we haven’t received our final photos yet—but I already have so many positive things to say about the experience!
Leading up to the wedding, they were incredibly thorough and organized. We had multiple calls and forms to fill out so they could understand exactly what we wanted, our timeline, important people, specific shots, and all of the little details ahead of time. It really felt like they wanted everything to be precise and planned out so that when the wedding day came, we could just enjoy it and trust that they knew exactly what needed to happen.
On the wedding day, that preparation definitely showed. Everything felt incredibly organized and timely. They kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed, which was so important with how much we had packed into our timeline. They also brought such good energy throughout the entire day and were personable, easy to talk to, and made being in front of the camera feel comfortable and natural.
I also really appreciated how well they listened to our recommendations and the specific photos we wanted while still bringing so many great ideas of their own. They had tons of pose ideas, knew exactly how to position us, and were great at finding different areas throughout the venue that would make for beautiful photos. There was a really nice balance between making sure we got the shots we had envisioned and trusting their creativity and expertise.
Overall, our experience leading up to and during the wedding was wonderful. They were professional, organized, timely, energetic, and genuinely enjoyable to have around on such an important day. I’m so excited to see how all of the photos turned out!

Working with Florin as our photographer was a joy, and he helped make wedding day feel absolutely seamless. He has such an impressive eye for finding and capturing super creative shots, using the natural beauty of indoor and outdoor spaces as a canvas for his art. We are not particularly adept at posing ourselves for photos, and his direction made everything feel much easier and more natural. Throughout the entire day, Florin was communicative, helped us work through our planned shots efficiently, and was very quick at pivoting photo plans on a dime when unpredictable weather arose. He was receptive to both our ideas and came with plenty of photo ideas and ideal locations that gave us so many wonderful options to work with for both of our ceremonies, Hindu and Catholic. David and Maks joined us on our wedding day and the energy lifted the moment they walked in! Despite the rain, they found amazing locations inside of the venue that allowed us to take photos with our family and bridal party and during the ceremony, they navigated difficult shooting conditions regarding a ban against flash photography. While our day didn’t go exactly to plan, they ensured that we would still have gorgeous photos to look back on. They brought sunset lighting to combat the overcast weather and showed us a sneak peak during the shoot which looked absolutely gorgeous. All of our family and friends complimented their positivity and the entire day was beautiful. One thing I will note, as a bride who has gone through two ceremonies and many, many guests; my last ceremony felt like I became a prop in my guests photos. This was absolutely not the case with Nova. They ensured that I was able to get the photos I wanted and were determined to make the entire day feel like the photos were simply an addition to the event, instead of the main purpose as my other photographer had in April. I also would like to shout out Van for always being available for any questions throughout the planning period.

uldn’t have been more pleased. She had great communication before the day, she was very personable and made us feel immediately comfortable during the shoot. The final photos that were delivered to us were beautiful, artistic and perfectly captured our joy in the moment.
The day of the wedding was more of the same but with Hanan and Tony rounding out the team. They were all amazing to work with, very professional and calming during our pre-ceremony shoot. During the ceremony and reception they were always in the right spot at the right time, never in the way, and they made sure to capture every important moment with all the wonderful people in attendance.
We will definitely use Nova Photos again for more important moments in our lives!

Max was our incredible wedding photographer. I usually feel awkward in front of cameras but Max kept everything light-hearted and fun! You can tell he loves what he does, as he puts thought and care into each photo. He had a good balance between posed and candid photos and we especially loved the silly photos we got to take!
Hanan was our videographer and WOW. He was not only nice to work with on the day of the wedding but he created a wedding video that seamlessly captured all of our special moments. The way he tied the clips together was beautifully done.
Jasmine was our photo booth operator and she had such a relaxed and fun personality. She was helpful to all of our guests as they picked out props and she kindly guided everyone on instructions for the picture taking process.

I can’t say enough nice things about Kamil specifically - he knew just what to say to get a bunch of awesome pictures in a short amount of time. He worked with our others vendors to make sure we were on the timeline and got all the important shots, and was hilarious and always kept us laughing.
We also did a Photo Blitz and made our photographers sprint around the room with us to get a picture with everyone, and they were such good sports and so down to make sure we got the shots we wanted. Plus, the Photo Booth attendant made sure we got physical copies of the photos and really brought the energy and clear directions.
Can’t recommend them enough!!

Also, Nova’s pricing is beyond reasonable, as is the turn around time for finished products. If we had to plan our wedding all over again, we would absolutely rebook Nova.

so much fun! He made us feel like it was just my husband and I; the only two in this fairy tale. Maks has a great personality, fun, spunky, direct to keep things moving, and gives direction in a kind, fun manner. He tells you how to move your body for the best poses and has great ideas on backgrounds, poses, etc. He was the easiest part of the entire day! I can't wait to see how the photos turned out! At one pointing during the evening, I saw him showing a young child how to use his camera to take pictures! Amazing. Plus, we also got the photobooth which is so much fun for everyone! We selected Maks as our photographer and immediately after meeting him for our engagement shoot we knew he was the right choice. His energy matched ours, he was super funny and just a blast to work with!
Hanan was our videographer and was the perfect match with Maks for our wedding. Super funny and both of them making off-hand comments truly made for some funny candid shots for my groomsman and I.
We cannot wait to see the final polished photos and cannot recommend Nova, Maks and Hanan enough!
