From our engagement photos to the wedding pictures, everything was perfect. They are so easy to communicate with and definitely helped us to feel comfortable while posing and taking the pictures (something I had been really anxious about!). Day of the wedding they were efficient with getting the formal family photos done (which can be a lot!) and took gorgeous photos of the venue, flowers, table settings and other wedding details that we had put together for our special day. When we got our final album it was so fun to look through all of the memories and see the different things they captured. My husband and I loved our portraits so much I immediately printed some to create a gallery wall in our house and everyone who sees them compliments the photos and how artistic they are. Novae Film and Photo is worth every penny so if you’re on the fence - I’d recommend budgeting for them because again, I can’t say one bad word about their work and only a million incredible things! Not only that, but they are both genuine and kind humans which isn’t always easy to find. Adding them to our vendor list very quickly became not just a want, but a need. We had two years of communication before our wedding day finally arrived and every single time we spoke whether it be via email, phone or text, it was always so easy, enjoyable and stress-free. Grace was my saving grace (pun intended) throughout the pandemic and our postponement. She was so much more than just one of our wedding vendors but became a friend that genuinely cared about us. She provided a listening ear, advice, love, laughs, patience and understanding. In those two years, she was so supportive throughout not just wedding related endeavors, but throughout our own personal journey of back-to-back-to-back losses. Grace’s middle name should be empathy. By the time we finally met in person, it felt like I had already known her for way more than two years. So many of our guests commented on how hard both Grace & Ben were working on our wedding day. They said they noticed they were everywhere, while simultaneously blending in and being completely in the background - AKA true professionals. They also make you feel so comfortable being on the other side of the lens. Weddings are an investment and finding someone to capture those memories that can stay with you for a lifetime is absolutely an investment worth making – especially if you choose to work with Novae. I’ve always said Grace & Ben create magic, and it felt so surreal to be on the receiving end of that when our final videos were delivered. I now cry every time I watch our own Novae videos of our own wedding. They captured every emotion and moment so perfectly and watching them truly transports us back in time to the best day of our lives. The joy and love were tangible and getting an opportunity to relive those moments every time we watch our videos is truly a blessing that we cannot wait to share with our future children. And to think, we almost lost out on that had we not included videography in our budget. Ultimately, choosing Grace & Ben as our videographers was without a doubt THE best decision we could have ever made for our wedding day. We are eternally grateful and cannot recommend them enough!!

ir style and wanted to get to know US better- she asked us details about what we want featured/what moments would be especially important moments to US. On the actual wedding day, I couldn’t even tell that anyone was filming us. Grace/Ben let us know they were there and made us feel comfortable, however they were just naturally in the background, not distracting or overbearing. I also can’t say enough how flawlessly Grace/Ben worked with our photographers as well- we had 4 people taking film and video of us and it truly just felt like my husband and I were alone. Some of my favorite parts of our wedding day were when we were just with Grace & Ben because we got to get away from everyone and just have a second to breathe. They made us feel so comfortable and everything was completely natural. They just let us be US. During the editing process, Grace communicated with me often and made me feel like I was the only client she had- that’s how 1x1 the process felt. I could just tell she really wanted to get it right. She wanted to get every last detail, moment, everything just perfect. NOW- we get memories of our day forever, and I can honestly say video is an absolute must. DO NOT. CUT VIDEO OUT OF YOUR BUDGET. Yes pictures are great, but they just do not tell the full story of your day. We got THREE VIDEOS from Novae- a teaser, highlight AND FEATURE. The teaser was amazing because it was a quick fun 1 minute long video that we got shortly after our wedding day while on our honeymoon which was so fun to watch and enjoy alongside my new hubby!! The highlight was truly like a movie preview, the way they edited the scenes to match the beat of the music in the songs…the way they put the overlay of our voices and matched it perfectly to what was being shown in the video… I cried the entire 5 minutes I first watched it. The highlight was so beautiful and touching but it definitely left us wanting to see MORE! WHICH IS WHY YOU NEED. NEEEEEEDDDD A FEATURE FILM. 45 minutes of your day and it still flies by! I think we could’ve had 2 hours and still wanted more! It’s just THAT good- walking down the aisle, the ceremony, all the speeches, all the moments of the day, your guests you may not have even seen that day, THE DETAILS, the dancing!!! The feature film will be the one my husband and I watch and reflect on forever. I cannot stress enough how much the feature film means to us and again, MAKE ROOM for it in your budget. This is the piece of your day that will live on forever and trust me Grace & Ben will make it absolutely perfect. My husband and I were so overwhelmed with emotion after watching the feature film. Grace – thank you for absolutely everything you did for us and for becoming a friend through this process. No words will ever be enough to describe my appreciation and love for you. making the investment with Ben & Grace! It’s actually a family tradition at this point as we are the third in the family to go through them for our wedding photos/video. They are really just becoming part of our family at this point. We got to know them best on our engagement shoot, they got a feel for us and we got a feel for them and how they works all just got really comfortable with each other, so we highly recommend utilizing them for that as well! Because these two are so in sync with each other you have a seamless video! I’ve seen people hire separate photographers and videographers and they are in each others shots and usually one ruins a capturable moment for the other, we did not have this issue with Ben & Grace. Grace is also like a wealth of knowledge if you need suggestions for anything! Thankful for her for telling us about our wedding venue after Covid forced us to cancel our big wedding. Honestly they are a dream team and worth the investment! Promise!

The day-of the wedding they were on time, kept us moving through family portraits and never in the way. After getting our photos we were surprised at the shots they were able to actually capture! They do absolutely stunning work and all of our friends & family could not stop raving about how beautiful everything turned out. Their romantic, moody style is (in our bias opinions) exactly what you want for such a romantic and special day. We turned our prints into a book so we can look at these memories for years to come. They gave us all the highlights as well as extra special small moments that made the entire experience very intimate and truly wonderful.

And let me just tell you, the final products blew our minds. When I watch our wedding highlight video I still cannot believe its us! The quality of the film & photos are unreal. The song choice, the audio clips, the intimate moments, ALL OF IT was documented so perfectly in the film. I get the feels all over again watching it. Friends, family, and so many others have reached out to tell us how emotional it made them feel. The video truly did exceed our expectations. Also, when it comes to the photos they truly got it all. The colors and quality of the photos are absolutely stunning. Its almost impossible to pick our favorites to hang on our walls because there are just TOO MANY that are perfection. ugh the planning process, Grace was so helpful in creating a day of timeline and provided such valuable insight for what to include / what to pass on on our wedding day from all of the weddings she has been a part of (cause lets be honest I literally had no clue what I was talking about lol). Jon and I are normally pretty camera shy and it was so sweet that Grace and Ben coached us through different shots and made us feel so comfortable in our own skin. I've never felt so beautiful or confident than I did on our day! Ben also has some craaaazy cool drone skills. It was really special to see the drone flying over all of our family and friends and knowing that it was creating a memory we'll be able to watch in all of our years to come! I cannot say enough good things about these filmmakers and truly don't have the words for how thankful we are to have had them play such a huge role in our wedding day.
