NS Weddings

ng day it would be having NS Weddings as our coordination services. We had the displeasure to work with Nida specifically. One of the services provided was a chance to go over the timeline. It was clearly a copy/paste wedding timeline which is fine at first. However, things like DJ were still in there even though we specifically did not have a DJ even after telling her multiple times. The times in the timeline went back and forth. Instead of this being a nice feature it was mailed out to all the other vendors without our approval first. Due to this and the wrongness of the timeline we were getting multiple calls/emails from other vendors about things the timeline said that they didn't understand. We brought up this concern and she said it's just a draft/template and didn't seem willing to fix the details. We did what needed to be done and made our own timeline for our own wedding that was not copy paste. However our coordinator from NS wedding says she was required to use HER timeline for OUR wedding. We were very clear when we said that all other vendors and guests will be on OUR timeline. Yet somehow during the wedding she was asking guests/groomsmen/ and eventually the groom what times were correct.  Walking down the aisle: We were told by the bridesmaid and groomsmen that only some of them got cues of when to walk and others did not though they were anticipating them. The biggest thing for us was we did not want the to see each other on the wedding day yet somehow we ended up in line of visibility because we were lined up not in the place we practiced by Nida at the rehearsal. Our MOH had to run to tell everyone to move up and was fighting with the coordinator who felt like she was not listening to us on our wedding day.  Rehearsal: Nida argued with us in front of our whole wedding party about how I wanted the ring bearer to walk down the full aisle when it is OUR wedding. Our wedding party was shocked. Reception: Nida started packing up all our stuff starting around 8 PM when in the schedule that specifically was supposed to start at 10 PM. This also gets worse. We had hand folded each guest a origami paper crane with their name and also had a set of cloth napkins that we bought for the wedding. Nida started THROWING THESE AWAY, before our guests were able to get them. We got many messages after about how people's cranes got thrown away which honestly just makes us so sad. We put so much effort into all the decorations just for someone else to see it as trash. And cloth napkins can be washed and re-used, let's at least try to be good to the environment. Takeaway: Only hire NS weddings if you have an bland boring average wedding, don't mind your decorations being thrown away, and would like someone to fight you on your ceremony/wedding for what a normal wedding should look like. Good bits: -our coordinator showed up on time -she did make a timeline -she found some people who had run away for the photos -she cleaned up -she talked to the bride/groom as little as possible on the day of -she showed up to the rehearsal -she told most people when to walk the day of -she communicated a lot over email
