Nu Standard was founded by accomplished multi-instrumentalist Derrick Hicks. Passionate about providing top-class wedding entertainment, this Texas-native has been playing instruments since his childhood. Consisting of vocalists, horns, and a rhythm section, the band features some of the city’s most seasoned musicians.
