“Nuage Rhythm” specializes in blending Parisian and American Jazz of the Golden Age, as well as Bossa Nova. Combining the unique stylings of Edith Piaf, Antônio Carlos Jobim & Nat King Cole, the group performs American, French & Latin Jazz standards the likes of “La vie en rose”, "Besame Mucho", “Unforgettable”, "Garota de Ipanema" and “Beyond the sea/La mer”. Their tremendous musicianship and savoir-faire provides the perfect atmosphere for a sophisticated cocktail hour, ceremony and/or reception.

By far the very best wedding decision my now husband made! Being a Belgian-Ecuadorian couple getting married in the Catskills, we were thrilled to see that Myriam performs in English, French, and Spanish, and we instantly had a good feeling! Little did we know that Myriam would be a dream come true. She is the sweetest soul, very easy to work with, and so incredibly talented. Alongside an equally talented pianist, she sang at our ceremony and it was hauntingly beautiful. She then turned our cocktail hour into a magical garden party and our guests truly loved her music. Multiple guests recorded her version of ‘La vie en rose’ and a group of Ecuadorians spontaneously sang ‘Besame mucho’ alongside her. (We still smile when we figured out that those were the most popular songs as we named our two wedding cocktails after these classical songs.) We’re beyond grateful that Myriam and her band were part of our day. If we ever host another party, Myriam will be the first vendor we’ll sign and we already registered for her newsletter so we can go see her perform in New York. If you’re into Parisian/American jazz music, we highly, highly recommend hiring her. You won’t regret it!

Nuage Rythym was perfect for our reception! I found them extremely professional in both appearance and volume. Myriam was very accommodating with our repertoire, and a pleasure to work with!

We hired Nuage Rhythm and it was the highlight of our wedding. The musicians were versatile, elegant, and professional. They started to play just a few moments before our guests arrived. They performed the processional and recessional parts for our ceremony, as well as during the cocktail hour and dinner. Myriam, the band leader and coordinator for our event, made us feel like we were in good hands. It helped take a lot of stress off of us so we could enjoy our day. She communicated very well with our event planner and as a result, we got the perfect tone we wanted for our wedding, all night long. We requested a few songs from the band and each of these songs were played at the exact moment we expected. Our guests loved them! It was really pleasant to work with Nuage Rhythm and we are very thankful that they were able to help us make our day really special. We highly recommend them!

Working with Myriam and her band was a delight from beginning to end - very easy, communicative, and she put any worries quickly at ease. And the music!! It was absolutely perfect. I love this style and vibe and was so happy to come across Nuage Rhythm and have them for such a special event. They added that extra bit of magic to make the day not just great, but extraordinarily wonderful.

We can’t say enough about Nuage Rhythm. Our wedding had a vintage theme and the band really brought everything together. Myriam was a delight to work with; she made sure our guests were comfortable and she even had everyone dance on ‘’La vie en rose’’ during cocktail hour. The band played our favorite songs from all over the world —we really felt like we stepped in a different era, it was so beautiful. The guitarist & violinist also played during our ceremony, so that’s one thing to consider too when hiring them. Amazing band!! If you want to add elegance to your cocktail hour and wow your guests, Nuage Rhythm is the way to go —hands down!
