NY JazzCats Band

Based out of New York City, JazzCats Band is a musical group playing the swinging sounds of jazz and beyond. Whether you’re looking for a duo or a quintet setup, these professionals bring their toe-tapping sensation to each wedding they perform at. An endless repertoire of tunes ranging from sophisticated melodies to high-flying beats are sure to get you and your guests dancing the night away. Led by award-winning saxophonist Dean Tsur, the band has been known to perform at prestigious events and venues across the country and overseas. With a Masters degree in music from the Juilliard School, Dean is no stranger to performing with some of the greats in his genre. Legends, like Wynton Marsalis, Billy Kaye, and Roy Hargrove have all given their seal of approval. With extensive experience comes a refining of one’s ability, and the JazzCats can perform a host of different musical genres. Couples can select a particular ensemble to suit the needs of their special wedding day event. The band can perform as a duo, trio, flagship band, or saxophone and singer quintet. They are available for rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions for relaxing and emotive background music. The JazzCats are happy to take special requests from both classic and modern times.
