Your Guests May Ask How Long We’ve Known You
That is one of the compliments we hear most often after a ceremony.
The answer is usually surprising: we met during the wedding-planning process. But by taking the time to understand your relationship, personalities and vision, NY Marriages creates and delivers a ceremony that sounds as though it came from someone who has known your story for years.
Since 2006, NY Marriages has performed more than 13,000 wedding ceremonies throughout Long Island and New York City. Our experience includes everything from intimate gatherings to large formal weddings at many of the region’s most recognized venues.
With 199 WeddingWire reviews and nine Couples’ Choice Awards, NY Marriages has built its reputation by creating ceremonies that feel personal, polished and unmistakably connected to the two people standing at the altar.
A Ceremony Built Around Your Relationship
Your ceremony should never sound like a generic script with your names inserted into it.
Our detailed couples questionnaire helps us understand how you met, what brought you together, what you appreciate about one another and how you want the ceremony to feel. We use those details to create a meaningful narrative that can be romantic, sincere, lighthearted, humorous or a combination that feels natural to you.
The result is a ceremony that keeps your guests engaged—and gives them something genuine to remember.
Ceremony Options
NY Marriages creates personalized:
* Civil and non-religious ceremonies

Experience You Can Feel on the Wedding Day
Thirteen thousand ceremonies have taught us when to guide, when to reassure, when to bring some humor into the moment—and when to step back and let the couple’s story speak for itself.
Our officiants arrive prepared, communicate clearly and deliver each ceremony with warmth, confidence and respect for the occasion.
If you want a Long Island wedding ceremony that sounds like the two of you—not everyone else—contact NY Marriages to discuss your date and the experience you want to create.

I feel like we hit the jackpot with Keith. We weren’t able to meet with him in person prior to the ceremony, which I will admit, made me a little nervous. But Keith spoke as if he ...
was our close friend, and knew us for years. We filled out an online questionnaire after securing him for our date, and you could tell the questions he asked were perfectly curated. He was able to take all of our answers and weld them into a beautiful love story that I probably couldn’t have told better myself. So many guests complimented him. If you're looking for an officiant who will create a ceremony that reflects your love, your personalities, and your vision for the day, Keith is your guy!
We love Keith! He is so easy to work with and he really officiates your wedding with such ease and with a wonderful ceremony. He adds his own personal touches to the ceremony with...
anecdotes of you and your significant other and it isn’t general. I’d recommend him to literally anybody, he’s amazing!
Keith was amazing! I never write reviews for anything, but Keith saved the day, and did such a knock out job on our ceremony. Our original officiant dropped out with three weeks u...
ntil our wedding day, and we were feeling overwhelmed. Our initial phone call with Keith was long and detailed, and we knew he was the one to marry us based off his out-going yet personable personality! We met him for the first time the day of our wedding, and based off of his ceremony, our guests thought we had known him for a while! We are so grateful to Keith, and the incredible ceremony he gave us. He was cool, calm, and collected. Would recommend 10/10!
Keith was our officiant for our wedding on 9/7/19. From the moment we spoke on the phone, we felt so comfortable! We did a personalized ceremony and Keith helped us add in a blessi...
ng. Our friends and family could not say enough nice things about the ceremony and loved how it felt like he's known us forever! Would recommend Keith again and again. Thank you!
My fiancé and I were looking for a non-religious ceremony that still felt extremely special and meaningful — Keith achieved this and then some. We submitted personalized surveys fo...
r him to get a feel for who we are as individuals and as a couple. He used these facts to piece together a moving ceremony that brought most of our guests to tears (we may just be emotional, but I’d like to blame it on Keith’s special talent). He went out of his way to ask our bridal party and parents some questions right before the ceremony and added them in flawlessly. Our guests even asked us how long we had known him for! They were shocked when I said we had just met that day. He did a fabulous job.
Keith was amazing! Our ceremony was fabulous. We incorporated the family medallion into the ceremony for my step daughter based on Keith's advice, and it was such a special moment....
She even presented us with the rings since my husband didn't have a best man. We rehearsed literally 20 minutes before the ceremony and it was perfectly fine. Everything turned out great. People were telling us during the reception how we knew Keith because the ceremony was so personalized. Filling out that questionnaire definitely made the ceremony unique. If you want a lighthearted, fun, and genuine guy to perform your ceremony, pick Keith!! He was awesome!! Thanks so much Keith!!

eciated his wisdom and insight of his speech. His humor was great! My guest just loved him! My husband was very appreciative of the advice he gave him the day of the wedding. He also gave wonderful direction to our bridal party as well. He truly went above and beyond. In a video taken from one of my guest. You see Keith bending down to fix my train after he pronounced me and my husband as man and wife. I was applauded by this because just a week ago Keith shared that he had surgery on his ankle but assured me that he will not miss our special day. What true dedication! It's also amazing when others pointed out his awesomeness. We have no regrets and we are happy we had him share in our special day. I highly recommend him! Thanks Again Keith!
Finding an officiant was a struggle for my husband and I, as we had very different ideas about what our ceremony should feel like (I'm Jewish and religious and from NY; my husband ...
was raised Catholic but is now agnostic and is from London). We had met at least 5 or 6 other officiants before we found Keith. From our first phone call, we knew he was the one. Keith is warm, genuine and very funny without taking any attention away from the couple. He brings a lightness to every conversation, and knows what questions to ask in order to make sure that he delivers what you want. He wrote a beautiful ceremony script for us and left us time to go back and forth with minor edits. The only thing I would suggest is that you negotiate an earlier start time the day of the event -- Keith typically gets to the venue 40-60 minutes before start time, but on our wedding day, he got caught in bad traffic and came in just as our ceremony was set to start. To be clear, I doubt this is a consistent problem (our wedding was in New York City, where traffic is particularly horrible). But just to be safe, I'd make sure you ask him to arrive at least an hour early. Other than that, our experience with Keith was perfect, and his rates were great. Couldn't have been happier!
Keith was the officiant at our Shelter Island wedding on 9/9/17. I can't tell you how many people asked how long we had known him. The reactions when we told them that we had met 5...

Thank you Keith for making our ceremony so custom and special. We will never forget it!

enjoys what he does. Keith listens to your input on the type of ceremony you want and will adjust and make changes accordingly. As soon as our ceremony ended we were already getting compliments on how beautiful it was. If you want someone who is down to earth and that will create exquisite vows, then go with Keith he will NOT let you down.

ul ceremony - we keep getting SO many compliments on so many of the unique aspects that Keith included for us. Filling out his questionnaire was one of the best things we could have done - we really do feel like we have known Keith for years and would recommend him to anyone looking for a beautiful, personalized ceremony without any worries on your wedding day! -Caitlin & Greg
Can you imagine getting a TEXT not a phone call, five nights before your wedding from the officiant that you hired a year before and met with, telling you he hurt his knee and will...
not be marrying you? Well, that is exactly what Keith did to my fiancé and I. We were scheduled to be married the night before Thanksgiving, expecting 200 people and had no one to marry us. My fiancé promptly called Keith for an explanation and was told by him that he had not no one to replace himself, and would tell us Monday if he would be there on Wednesday. The person who we finally found told us how we signed himself out of the hospital after getting a stent for his heart, married the couple as he promised and then checked back into the hospital, because he said he would never do that to anyone! Now, that’s a professional!! We never did hear from Keith as he promised, just received our deposit back in a plain envelope with just a check in it, no personal note. His behavior was so unprofessional and heartless. I understand that he was injured, however, he could have shown caring and compassion for us by picking up the phone to tell us himself not texting at night when it was so hard to reach anyone, and he could have tried to find someone else to marry us. We had met with him before, read the positive reviews on the Knot and spoke to someone who had attended one of his ceremonies, so we felt confident in hiring him. However, he showed his “true colors” in his insensitive treatment of us. I am writing this because I want to spare other couples the stress and heartache that Keith put us through trying to find someone to marry us at the last minute.
Keith performed such a magnificent ceremony for my husband and I. We have an interfaith marriage and we decided to have a secular ceremony. I could not have asked for a better offi...
ciant to make the ceremony filled with love and personalize it about us, while fulfilling everything we asked for. We completed the questionnaire that Keith had online and he made the ceremony into one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever heard. He ran down the details before the ceremony and made sure it was okay to mention some things like the passing of my husband’s 20 year old brother. Keith also answered my millions of questions through e-mails months before the ceremony without a problem. I’ve received so many compliments on my ceremony, he really made my day so special!

he wedding vows and my husband I chose one of these packages. We answered a few brief questions and Keith was able to seamlessly incorporate the anecdotes into the ceremony. One thing I loved about Keith's service is we were able to choose our wedding vows from the options Keith has on his site. We knew exactly what he would say and there were no surprises or boring dull moments in the ceremony. Our guests loved him! He went over everything with my husband and I moments before the ceremony and calmed my husband's nerves (a little) before the ceremony. We received a copy of our marriage certificate via email the next day from Keith (in case we needed it on our honeymoon). You cannot go wrong with Keith in any way. He is the best there is!
Keith was amazing! He officiated our wedding on August 9, 2015, and he made us feel so relaxed. My husband and I were not seeing each other before the ceremony, and it was difficul...
t not to see one another! Keith knew this and acted not only as our go between with words of encouragement, but he also acted as one of our biggest cheerleaders! My husband was so nervous and he assured him that in the other room I was excited and so ready to see him!
He also explained exactly how the ceremony would work before we walked down the aisle so we knew what to expect, which was awesome!
We are of different faiths, and he blended them perfectly. Our families were so pleased, and everyone said the ceremony was beautiful. It focused on our love for one another, as well as our own personal story. Keith let us fully customize the entire experience, and he was with us throughout the entire journey! His support and guidance made all the difference!!
During the ceremony, he encouraged us to talk, hold hands, and do whatever we needed to feel comfortable. He was funny, lighthearted and kind, and just so positive! We loved having him as our officiant.
Thank you, Keith!!

ore meaningful and personal wedding ceremony. Thank you so much and thank you for being so grounded for me before the ceremony (I needed someone calm and collected and you were there for me). Thank you so much!
There are not enough words to describe how pleased my husband and I were with NY Marriages, specifically Keith, who was our officiant for our 12/30 wedding. Keith responded to our ...
initial email inquiry within hours, by phone. From the moment I first spoke with him on the phone, I knew he was the officiant for us! He was so down-to-earth and extremely easy to talk to--he covered all the questions I had in my mind before I even could ask them. I immediately had a comforting feeling after speaking with him and told my husband all about our conversation. Trusting me, we decided to go with Keith and chose the middle of his 3 packages--each package providing a few different options, so you can tailor the ceremony to your own needs. We were able to meet with Keith before our ceremony to talk things over and get to know each other better, which was a relief for me, being Type-A and needing everything to be organized--and it certainly was! The option we chose for our ceremony included the basic civil ceremony (although he does religious, as well), plus a special personalization by Keith throughout the ceremony, which was so amazing to hear on our wedding day all the personal touches Keith so eloquently put together into a beautiful arrangement. On top of his incredible ceremony, Keith was at our venue early, came to each of our suites to explain things again, calmed each of us down with his sense of humor and lighthearted spirit, and made our ceremony so effortless and worry-free. He even chatted sports to keep my hubby calm when the guest shuttle was 15 minutes late and he was waiting for me at the alter :). I cannot possibly explain in one review all the good things we have to say about Keith--he made our ceremony absolutely perfect and we could never wish for anyone else to so beautifully pronounce us as husband and wife!

al, and easy to talk to. He emailed samples of how the ceremony could run. In the end we decided to use the vows that he had written, and we modified the ceremony a little with the music for the recessional. It was really nice working with him.

egant, meaningful and heartfelt. Minister Keith Gugliuzza understood what we wanted from the start and delivered. He was great to work with both before and during the wedding - what an awesome spirit and personality! We were so incredibly happy to have Keith be a part of our wedding. I found Minister Keith through LIWeddings. He was wonderful from start to finish. He did a fantastic job on our ceremony!!
