on until the wedding day, he was incredibly organized and asked all the questions I forgot to!! All of my guests loved the music and had a great time and he did a fabulous job of getting everyone out on the dance floor!
He has a great ability to read the wedding crowd well and knew exactly what music to play to make people want to dance all night. We had so many guests say that the music was so fun, such a great blend of oldies and new tunes that made for such an incredible night! I would highly recommend using him for any event.

ut the unusual set-up of our venue (dance floor on one side of the building and dining area/bar on the other) but Dan visited the site with us beforehand to coordinate with the General Manager about how best to set up for the event.
Dan was able to accommodate our drastically different tastes in music without making the playlist seem schizophrenic. We provided him with an abbreviated list of “must plays” and we were immensely pleased with how he filled in the blanks.
We knew things were going great when one of our guests gushed early on that this was the best dance music she had ever heard a DJ play at a wedding. This proved to be a popular refrain, as many of our friends and family complemented us on our excellent choice of DJ. With a healthy mix of Motown, pop and contemporary hits, Dan was able to please all of our guests.
What impressed us the most was the fact that the dance floor was never empty, which is remarkable given the fact that we had a relatively small wedding. We’re so glad that we chose Dan and NyWeddingDJ.net as our DJ.
If we had a Dollar for every time someone said ”how good Dan was at our wedding ” our wedding would have paid for itself!

Our search for a wedding DJ was our first priority after booking the venue and figuring out what food we wanted served. After talking to 6 other ...
DJs, we knew Dan was perfect; he catered to all of our needs while also considering what each guest might want. He had set up lists of songs available so it would be easier to coordinate between dinner service and dancing during the reception. And boy did it work! The night went perfectly- thanks largely in part due to how awesome Dan was! For 2 1/2 hours straight, no one sat down- they were either eating or on the dance floor when good music came on!
From the moment we met him for our initial consultation, it became clear that he was right for us. We were able to create a list of all the songs we wanted played at our reception (also including some favorites from guests), which made everything go smoothly because he knew how to balance out what each person liked best while choosing appropriate music throughout dinner and dancing. The entire evening went off without a hitch thanks largely in part to how great Dan was.
