Gus and his team absolutely blew our flowers out of the park! When I walked into my ceremony and reception ballroom this past friend it truly took my breath away by how beautiful his flower arrangements came together. If you’re looking for a florist to make your wedding vision a dream come true, don’t hesitate to hire Gus and his team! They will not let you down or disappoint!!!

Talk about bringing to life the wedding vision of our dreams!!! If you’re looking for stunning florals that are very reasonably priced but also a team that will invest a lot of time into putting the exact vision you’ve dreamed of to life while still fitting in your budget, then look no further because it’s a no brainer. Gus and his team are your people! We got married in Jersey City this May but way before the wedding day itself, Gus and his squad spent hours of time communicating with us to ensure they got down exactly all our requests and I know the average florist would not have had that level of patience, care and dedication with their clients to make sure they could make dreams a reality. I really appreciated that they invited us to their studio to put together sample pieces before the wedding to make sure they make the perfect products for us on the day. Gus was always a phone call away if we had any concerns or questions. And as a very picky bride who couldn’t make up my mind and made changes on multiple occasions along the way and then developing a very specific vision for our wedding, I really am grateful that I found a team that cared enough to listen and spend all the time they did to make us happy on our day. And with such a great attitude and enthusiasm. Many emails and phone calls later and come wedding day - just wow, I have few words. The bouquets were gorgeous, the church pieces were just divine and exactly what I was looking for. So elegant and modern. And then the venue just blew us away. The family table was a process to put together beforehand but they made it happen as if with ease! The sweetheart table decor was what dreams are made of (better than the Pinterest pics!) and the centerpieces were just incredible. What a vision the whole day. I could not have asked for more and I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful team. You guys are the best at what you!!! Thank you for everything!

Gus and his team were amazing from start to finish. He truly listened to our vision, was honest and made it come to life. Our ceremony, reception and bouquets were absolutely stunning. They transformed our wedding into something spectacular. It was a true pleasure to work with Gus through the whole process. Thank you Gus and his team for transforming our wedding beautifully! The flowers were so beautiful, the bouquets were exactly what I pictured and I couldnt stop looking at them. Gus worked hard to make a beautiful wedding well within our budget and then some. Gus walked thru the flower markets with me and let me choose which flowers and colors I liked, while letting me know what would be in or out of my budget which was extremely helpful. Email communication can be a little inconsistent but Gus is very good at picking up the phone and always addressed any of our concerns. Our advice is not to stress because Gus delivers in the end!

I hired NYC Flower Project for a very simple floral arrangement for both my ceremony and reception. I was stunned by how beautiful and elegant the arrangements were despite the simplicity. My guests loved the floral arrangements as well. NYC Flower Project was also very responsive and great at taking feedback when I was initially deciding on the “look and feel” of my wedding. Highly recommend their work to any other bride in the NYC area!

This was the best decision of our wedding. I am so grateful that my husband received this NYC Flower Project recommendation from one of Gus’ childhood friends. I originally wanted to limit the number of flowers and let the venue shine. Boy, I am so glad Gus helped me see the creative possibilities of enhancing the space and our theme “Moonlight and Roses” with flowers. Working with Gus was a dream, he was so responsive and collaborative. We went to the Flower Market to pick out the exact roses we wanted to use for the event. He heard what I wanted to accomplish and he helped to elevate those ideas. Looking at amazing flowers he had done in the past we created the perfect arrangements of florals throughout the venue. I am so thankful to have had Gus as part of our perfect day.

Gus and his amazing team of assistants, Nicole and Rose, helped make our wedding truly divine. We got married at Houston Hall, and we got NYC Flower Project’s name from Houston Hall because they already loved their work and felt comfortable recommending them to us. NYCFP does both flowers as well as bistro lighting, and we knew we wanted lights strung up throughout the space. We had a meeting to share our mood board in their office in Brooklyn, then we met up with Gus a month out from the wedding in the flower market to select the actual flowers for the wedding. Gus also never tried to upsell us on anything, and in fact instead of an entryway flower arch, Gus recommended that we use that money towards floral chandeliers which were the HIT of our wedding! They also built us a *beautiful* marriage arch, as well as table arrangements, bar arrangements, and table arrangements for our rehearsal dinner! We honestly couldn’t imagine finding a better florist for our wedding than Gus and NYC Flower Project. We can’t recommend them highly enough for your wedding!

NYC Flower Project was highly recommended to me and I could not be happier that we chose them for our wedding flowers. There are simply no words to describe the service we received from Nicole and Gus - these two know what they are doing. If you have not yet decided on a florist for any event - stop looking and choose NYC Flower Project. They were responsive and thorough, they took the time to review every detail and made every request possible - nothing is impossible for them!! They provided the opportunity to see a pre-wedding centerpiece sample which is rare but so necessary! I knew I was in good hands from the beginning and in the chaotic world of wedding planning was completely at ease knowing Gus understood my vision. Gus and the NYC Flower Project were truly amazing!!! My now husband and I were so blown away by their work--as the florals and decor truly created an ambiance and mood at our wedding that was alluring, beautiful and MAGICAL. The scope and beauty of their work was truly fairytale--and everything from the baby's breath clouds to the hanging garden they created, from the high and low dinner arrangements to the bridesmaids bouquets--every piece of their work was beyond our wildest imagination of how gorgeous our wedding could be. NYC flower project was more amazing than I could have ever imagined! We had one meeting with Gus going over some of our ideas / likes / dislikes, and let them take it from there afterwards which was exactly what I wanted with the hundreds of other things to plan. They truly knocked it out of the park. The table arrangements, floral chandeliers, and chuppah were all stunning and made the venue smell incredible as well. Our guests were all so amazed with how they transformed a beer hall but still kept the rustic vibe we were going for. Could not recommend more!

We couldn't have been happier with the flowers for our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden! My florist friend who was supposed to be our florist dropped out in June for our August wedding, and thankfully our planner Alison Semler recommended NYC Flower Project to take the gig at the lat minute and it was the best decision. Gus is the best! He knows his stuff and what will look good, but is also laid back and flexible and just a pleasure to work with. He understood our vague vision and came up with fantastic ideas -- like tree branch style flower holders for the tables and the chupah, and he just basically nailed the very loose "wildflower" guidance we gave him and delivered the most incredible arrangements. The flowers really were our decor, so when everyone raved about how gorgeous the wedding was, that is really due to Gus and NYC Flower Project, we are so grateful!

NYC Flower Project made my wedding absolutely beautiful! I didn't have any other decorations besides flowers, so a lot we riding on how they turned out. NYC Flower Project let us peruse the flower market with them to find the right flowers, totally listened to what we wanted, and made stunning arrangements. Many people told us that our chuppah was the most beautiful one they had ever seen. We didn't have to do any coordination with them on the day of-- they handled everything seamlessly (and affordably). I highly recommend!

NYC Flower Project gave us the most wonderful chuppah, garlands, bouquets, arrangements, etc. on our wedding day! Everything looked exactly how we had wanted it to be, and worked perfectly within our budget and how we visualized our wedding. They were a little late dropping off the bouquets and boutonnieres, but at the end of the day everything looked gorgeous. Nicole was super responsive via email, and answered all of our questions / made all of our changes quickly, clearly, and efficiently. I'm very glad we ended up booking NYC Flower Project! Gus and Nicole were an amazing team to work with from the beginning of planning to the wedding end! They were easy to get in touch with throughout the process and were always there when I needed them. They even did a complimentary sample of my initial idea for the table arrangements before we signed anything - something I greatly appreciated given other vendors we looked at weren't as accommodating. Speaking of other vendors, NYC Flower Project's price quote was comparatively very reasonable for NYC and a city wedding. They were very transparent about the breakdown of costs from the start, and it put me at ease that I was dealing with straight shooters that wouldn't nickel and dime me with various add-ons and supplements. I felt I was able to be involved in the vision of the arrangements with expert guidance from Gus, who took me on a walkthrough of the flower district to hand pick the flowers I wanted in my arrangements. Gus and Nicole were very receptive to any changes in the weeks leading up to our big day. The end result was absolute perfection, and the industrial loft space was turned into a modern garden with plenty of candle light and votives complementing the florals. It was pure magic, and I couldn't have asked for more from this team. Highly recommend!!!

NYC Flower Project did the flowers for our wedding on 11/25/17. Gus and Nicole were so amazing to work with and they executed our vision perfectly!! We visited their shop twice, once to book them and then once before the wedding to see a sample centerpiece. On the day of the wedding Gus stayed at the venue to make sure everything was perfect before he left. I would highly recommend NYC Flower Project!!

I had absolutely no vision of what I wanted as far as flowers and Gus sat with me and we put together a Pinterest board with ideas. I gave NYC Flower Project a bit of latitude to determine what would like nice as I figured they were the expert and I didn't have a set idea except I didn't want everything to look rounded off. We settled on a garden style with light and dark colors. When we saw, the sample, it was gorgeous (although the centerpieces looked big). Gus assured us it would work in our space. He couldn't have been more right. On the day of, everything looked beautiful-centerpieces and bouquets. I received so many compliments. I didn't even need other accents in the venue space. The flowers spoke for themselves and were a definite highlight.

This vendor is truly amazing! Because of the size of our venue, I wanted to make sure I found a group that new how to execute my vision without going over the top. I felt comfortable with the Gus from the first interview, and new they were the right ones as soon as I saw the sample--the main feature of the reception were these beautiful elevated runners standing on birch branches. We also had candles sprinkled throughout the venue and tables, which gave space a softer and more romantic feeling. The day of was a true execution of my vision, which a testament to the fact that NYC Flower Project listens to you. In addition to the actual day of beauty, two points on customer service: (i) after I hired the vendor, Gus actually came to the Queens Museum and did a walk through to get a feel for the space since he hadn't worked their before, which helped with my confidence that he and his crew would get the job done effectively and (ii) the week of the wedding I did a walk through of the flower markets with Gus (I didn't even know that was a thing and I've since learned that many companies do not do this...), which really gave me an appreciation of the amount of work involved and Gus' understanding of his craft. It was also a fun way to get into the fun celebratory wedding mode, with the big day coming up so soon! I really can't recommend this vendor enough--creative genius!

I have both an event venue and event styling business in New York and refer all of my clients to NYC Flower project. I can guarantee 100% satisfaction and I know they will be a great reflection of our business. This past weekend I had the pleasure of celebrating my brothers wedding and wedding after party. Nicole and Gus overexceeded my expectations. The guests of the wedding are still all raving about the decor and I can honestly agree that it is simply unmatched. A five star rating is simply not enough. Gus and Nicole are superhero’s, magicians and maybe the Gods of flowers. In words I cannot express how time and time again they always deliver!! Deliver, quality, style and excellence. I run both an event venue and an event styling company and refer all my clients to NYC Flower project because I know they will always provide the best service and they will be a good reflection on my businesses. I just worked with them on two of my greatest personal projects and they over exceeded my expectations!!! My brother’s wedding and afterparty were hands-down unmatched. The guests have not stopped raving about the decor! It was simply gorgeous! Guss and Nicole are creative geniuses! We absolutely loved working with them because they have a chill yet professional vibe that truly kept us calm throughout this process. We spent months going over the design then a month or so before our wedding Guss created a sample/ mock table for us and I knew the wedding day flowers would be truly beautiful. They were flexible on the price and included candles and bud vases with the flowers. I didn't have to go out and buy those extra things. They included them with the total cost of flowers. That was so helpful! At one point Guss thought he didnt understand our vision and asked us to come in just to make sure he got it right. Then on the day of the wedding Nicole and Guss created the most beautiful flowers for the reception and the ceremony. I would totally recommend NYC Flower Project for a wedding or any event..OR personal floral design in your home! They were a joy to work with!

I reached out to a few florist companies by email or their website researching flowers for my June 2017 wedding. Nicole the Project Manager for The NYC Flower Project reached out to me by email to make arrangement to have a conversation over the phone, I was impressed with the turnaround time with NYC Flower Project contacting me. After my phone conversation with Nicole we setup appointment to meet in February; I met with Gus afterwork to see some samples. I liked what Gus put together for my reception, I wanted tall and short centerpieces. After meeting with Gus I knew I found the company to handle my flowers💐🌹. The NYC Flower Project was professional and punctual. The day of my wedding they delivered all the bouquets, corsages and boutonnière on time. Everything was beautiful!

Once we met with Nicole and Gus, we knew they were the florist for our wedding! They went through exactly what we wanted for our wedding, and I did not have the clearest direction for them, but they truly came through for the wedding! The flowers were gorgeous and exactly what I had imagined times 10! Everything from the bouquets, to the gorgeous details for the reception were perfect, and really brought together the look of the wedding. Unfortunately after months of planning and coordinating, the result was not great. The planning process with Gus and Nicole was great, but in the end I didn't get what I wanted. Most of the flowers used were wrong, my bridal bouquet was a complete opposite of what I wanted, my planners had to remake the entire bouquet themselves. Gus and Nicole refunded about 1/4 of the cost, which honestly didn't cover the mistakes that were made. Truly disappointed :-(

I can't say enough good things about Nicole and Gus ! I felt like I was working with friends . Their creative ideas and hard work blew our minds ! We could not have asked for better vendors . They did 3 of our events engagement party , bridal shower and wedding and all 3 were spectacular! Our wedding was beyond stunning and looked like something out of a magazine . They surpassed our expectations tremendously and we can't express our gratitude . Nicole is the sweetest most down to earth person with such amazing ideas and taste and Gus is a flower genius !!!!!! Wow where to begin...NYC Flower Project exceeded all of my expectations. From numerous meetings where we reviewed every detail to setting up a Pinterest board together to make sure our inspiration was on the same page I enjoyed each step of the planning process with their guidance. I knew the flowers would be beautiful but I could not have imagined they would be as breathtaking as the way...my bouquet, centerpeices and Ceremony flowers were EXACTLY how I hoped - full of flowers with minimal greenery just how i asked and each detail from burgundy dhalias to O'Hara rose coursages and succulent potted teacups made the wedding stunning and a floral Pinterest board dream. After going to three different florists who either weren't in my price range or didn't capture my thought process, my wedding planner suggested NYC Flower Project. Upon arriving to NYC Flower Project they had this gorgeous mock up (for which I didn't have to pay an additional fee) that just nailed my vision. They were transparent about the availability of the flowers for my September 9th wedding. I was beyond excited for what they created and even more excited when I walked into the venue and saw the beauty they've created. I had a naked caked which they beautifully decorated with flowers, they made adorable flower crowns for my flower girls and provided the sign for my sign holder. I went over my original budget for flowers but it was worthwhile. Additionally, Nicole and Gus (whom are business partners) had such a chill personality which was a bonus.

NYC Flower Project did all of the flowers and décor for our August 6, 2016 wedding. From the moment we first met with them we knew they would be the perfect vendor. Gus and Nicole are truly artists who love what they do. They are involved in every aspect of the planning and partnered with our venue to create a truly stunning look for our wedding. We had the chance to meet with them, share our ideas and photos and they really listened and understood the look we were going for. I even had a request for my bouquet to be a little unique as I didn’t like chunky stems and they more than accommodated me! We wanted an “English Garden” look and they more than delivered. They worked with us on selecting the appropriate vases that would work with the venue and our overall theme. The sample they did for us was stunning – and they were upfront about the timing of the sample and what may be available on our wedding day as you have to take seasonality into effect. The day of our wedding it was humid and on an off rain, so we ended up doing the ceremony indoors rather than outside. Gus and Nicole not only created the most gorgeous, breathtaking altar for us but stayed through the ceremony to help turn the room back over for the reception later. Gus even found us during cocktail hour and offered to decorate the wedding cake with flowers! They took the time to put the bouquets back in water after an early picture session and the care they showed throughout the evening was truly what set them apart as a vendor. I will certainly be using them for future events and cannot recommend them enough!

I recently got married in June and I was lost and had no idea what to get for flowers. I had a color scheme but that was it! Gus and Nicole were awesome. They went out their way to meet with me on numerous occasions - once Gus even took me to the market to select my flowers which was sooooo coool. I highly recommend NYC Flower Project to any upcoming Bride& Groom out there who are still looking for a florist. Gus and Nicole did a wonderful job on all the flower arrangements for our wedding this past May. From the beautiful elaborate centerpieces and BM bouquets, right down to the flowers on my cake. You can definitely tell they put a lot time and effort into every piece that they make. A lot of my guests were telling me how beautiful and huge my center pieces looked (needless to say they were all taken by the time the wedding party was over). Gus and Nicole were very accommodating and helpful in giving us recommendations on certain things we were unsure of and the outcome came out really nice. I was telling Gus that my bridesmaid would be wearing a light pink color dress and he recommended using pink astilbe on my bridesmaid’s bouquet and I am so happy he did, because it came out more beautiful than I could have imagined. I was a little upset about one thing though. I knew exactly what I wanted my boutique to look like and the exact color I wanted. (I wanted all light pink peonies with dusty millers). I even showed a few pics to Nicole and Gus, but unfortunately the peonies on my bouquet came out a lot lighter than I wanted. It came out to be more of a borderline peach/white color. But I know Gus and Nicole tried their best to find the color I wanted. Perhaps the pale pink peonies were not easy to find? But overall they both did a wonderful job on the flower and made everything so simple and easy with no headaches.

NYC Flower project did an excellent job for my wedding. I walked into the first meeting with a hard budget, and Gus was more than willing to work backwards, to ensure I got the exact centerpieces I wanted without going over. Nicole was very attentive, emailing with myself and the groom to work out all details well in advance. They were both flexible in meeting times, and were willing to meet us at a more proximal location, as I live far from their office. They made a mock-up centerpiece two months before the event (which was absolutely gorgeous), and everything looked amazing the day of. They also helped to repurpose the flowers so that I would have a nice ambiance for the ceremony AND the reception. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them both.

The New York City flower project was amazing on our wedding day. I wanted a really simple wedding bouquet similar to a photo I had shown Nicole. It was a photo my grandmother on her wedding day. They not only replicated but made it even more special. I also received a note from them, with advice on how to care for my bouquet on my day. They were super thoughtful, five stars guys!!

It was a pleasure working with NYC Flower Project for our annual Gala at the Midtown Hilton. They were accommodating and the ideas they had were endless. Hosting an event for 800 guests is what I do for a living but finding my vendors through the knot made my life so much easier. Gus and Nicole were a fantastic team to work with. I'm so happy I decided to go went them. Planning a wedding is so stressful and I personally can be a bit neurotic when it comes to detail. The flower planning process could not have played out any smoother! Gus and Nicole have an eye for design and detail. They took their time to walk me through and sample different design patterns and floral choices that would compliment my theme. My flowers turned out exactly as I envisioned. I received so many compliments! NYC Flower Project really went above and beyond to make my day truly memorable.

Gus was our flower guy for our wedding. He was recommended by the venue as he is the house flower provider/arranger. We did not know where to begin with flowers nor what was in season so Gus took us on trip to the flower district to show us and get an idea of what we, or really, what I liked. He had great recommendations on to maximize the usage of flowers from the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They have a great eye for flower arranging and we pretty much left it up to him and his wife to make it pretty! And on our big day, they did a great job. Beautiful work! We and our guests were very impressed with the flowers.
