We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From our very first meeting, DJ David and Danny took the time to get to know us and understand exactly what we wanted. From the beginning, we told them our biggest goal was to have everyone on the dance floor having fun, and they absolutely delivered! They were amazing throughout every step of the planning process, helping us choose the perfect music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They met with us, listened to our vision, shared great ideas, and made the entire process so easy and stress-free. One of the highlights of the night was how perfectly they blended Brazilian and American music. They kept the dance floor packed all night, and our guests had an incredible time. Our dance floor was one of the most unhinged (in the best way) and packed I’ve seen at a wedding- our guests are still raving about it 6 months later. I got news that the DJ I had hired originally had terrible reviews and had ruined a few of his last weddings that he had done. I knew I couldn’t take a chance on the same thing happening to us and I had to start from scratch looking for someone new. David was recommend to me by an old friend and after talking with him, I had full confidence that he would execute things perfectly. There were many special moments musically that I had prepared. Specifically, I had prerecorded myself singing my isle song as a surprise for my husband and I needed it flawless. We had a few extensive FaceTime conversations that were both reassuring and professional. He also set the vibe and tone for the entire day, was a blast to hang out with, kept the mood up and caught one of the best videos on his own phone of me. We can’t thank him enough for everything . For changing around his schedule and traveling to be with us, for calming my nerves when I needed it most and becoming a life long friend.

d to plan the day. The first meeting consisted of introductions and the vision my husband and I wanted for our wedding. He also shared with us their detailed word document that went over every small detail related to music and entertainment possible. The second meeting happened after the document was filled out and I had created 3 playlists for David— a cocktail hour playlist, dinner playlist, and a dancing playlist. We went over all the details and other specifics of the day i.e timeline, intros, outros, must plays, and do not plays. The last meeting David and I had was mainly to finalize the grand entrance. As you can see the planning process was very thorough and let me tell you, well worth it. All the key songs I wanted for each playlist, he played and it was so well curated that during dinner, I didn’t want to sit down to eat, I wanted to stand up and dance. David knew how to transition the night from grand entrance to first dance with ease and how to hype up the crowd in an instant. We all had an amazing time and I would highly recommend him. I’ve already gotten questions from some friends that are getting married in the following years where I booked my DJ because he was amazing.

al couple we wanted a bilingual MC to help everyone feel included in our celebration. Our music tastes are eclectic and our families are very different, but Rubin and Danny helped us create the perfect playlist. They went above and beyond on the day of our wedding to ensure that everything ran smoothly. From keeping the schedule on track to making sure everyone was where they needed to be before making an announcement, they were amazing! They coordinated with other vendors and the venue so that everyone had the same timeline before the event and even assisted in wrangling members of the bridal party for key parts of the day. Rubin even helped the photographer position people for photos and tossed the bride’s train for the perfect shot while Danny kept the cocktail hour music flowing. NYCT DJs kept the dance floor full and lively all night. They transitioned between songs and different genres seamlessly and never played any from our “do not play” list. We had guests as young as 10 months and as old as 80 and everyone had a wonderful time. We didn’t want the night to end and nearly all of our guests joined us for the final few songs. Choosing NYCT DJs made our wedding unforgettable, and having Rubin and Danny as our DJ’s and MC’s was like adding good friends to our party. They cared as much as we did about our celebration and it showed in the quality of their work and the laughs they shared with us. He cheered on our other vendors and helped them (literally stacked, moved, and piled up chairs) and made wonderful suggestions to ensure that we captured several meaningful moments throughout the day. I truly felt like he listened to us the months leading up to the wedding and spent the time to get to know us, what our values and hopes were for the day, and helped bring that to life. On top of it all, he took his own photos and videos and shared them with us. He was simply the best!
