We are SO grateful that we were able to book our engagement session and wedding photos with Luke. He is SO much fun to work with and made us and our families laugh so much!! Luke went WAY above and beyond to help us with getting ready beforehand and asked if we wanted to take photos at home and with our pets since we live very close to our venue! We are SO grateful that Luke offered to do that and was so willing to go out of his way to come to our home to take photos! We are so incredibly happy and grateful for the photos we have with our fur babies!! They are some of our favorite photos and we will cherish them forever! Luke also was so incredibly helpful and went WAY above and beyond to help secure and fix my veil and flowers in my hair, he helped carry my dress, pin on flowers for family, and the list goes on!! He made us feel so at ease throughout the entire day (and during our engagement photo session)! Our families have continued to rave about how much fun Luke was to work with and how effortless it was to take photos for our wedding!! Receiving our photos from Luke was just icing on the cake!! ough the day and as I was getting ready was like hanging out with a friend. He helped me stay calm and keep things on track. He was flexible with the schedule, took every request of what we wanted to do, carried my train, drive us to photo site, kept things moving, laughed and joked with us and so gracefully and kindly dealt w all our relatives and friends. Every photo came out amazing. EVERY. ONE. We were genuinely sad to see him leave later in the night - he just fit in with our crazy crowd that well. You will not regret booking Nygaard photography!

m. He is amazing and a ball of energy just like me so we of course clicked right away. He’s genuine, personably, authentic, organized and legitimately jazzed to spend probably too many Fridays and Saturdays at weddings but the wedding community is all the better for it! While I knew we clicked, my favorite part was that Luke made my husband (wow that’s fun to say) more comfortable, less awkward, laugh and enjoy what was hours of picture taking. The bridal party adored him, everyone knew him by name at the end of the night and I could totally trust that all my needy details or random asks were answered thoughtfully and truthfully. I remember my first chat with him was at least a 40 min visit trying to sort through all the photography lingo, BS and random up-sells. He was real, transparent, detailed and passionate. He sells a great product- him and his company and we loved being able to work with him…. actually we’ll probably work with him for the rest of forever for our photography needs.

He checked in to make sure I was doing OK often throughout the day and gave us gentle reminders when it was a good opportunity to snap a few photos. Knowing now how fast the day goes, this was so critical to documenting all of the important moments. I remember telling Luke how much I appreciated him and that our photos and eachother would be all we had after the big day ended. Luke is more than a photographer and we cannot thank him enough and cannot recommend him enough to our friends and family. He was hands down our favorite vendor to work with and the best of all of them at communicating. We were lucky enough to meet him at 2 weddings before our own after we booked him and both couples, our family and friends, really enjoyed working with him and were also happy with his work. The pictures in the park were beautiful, as were the pictures taken in the alley and streets in Lowertown St. Paul. From the bridal suite and the groom’s room, to the first look pictures, wedding party pictures, family pictures, the ceremony, bride and groom roof top pictures, reception, and dance Luke captured it all. We are so happy with all the pictures and appreciated Luke’s eye to capture the moment. Many guests and our wedding planners commented on how professional and easy going our photographer was. Luke was able to connect in such a fun way with our three young nephews (ring bearers) and our flower girl, he captured such darling pictures of them. We highly recommend Luke Nygaard Photography! rom day 1 of contacting Luke we were sold. Luke is very friendly and so helpful through the entire process. We had a few meetings with Luke prior to the wedding of which was only a few months from signing with Nygaard Photography. Fast forward to the wedding. Luke met with my bridal party at the salon and was with us until 9:30pm that night. He had a smile on his face and peep in his step all day. Luke was extremely helpful in what I should do for makeup to helping with my dress. He even later helped the DJ who was late due being in called in at the last minute to replace the original DJ that had called in sick. Honestly I cannot think of one thing Luke didn't help with the day of the wedding. Fast even more forward. On Monday, June 21st my father past away 2 weeks after the wedding. Even though pictures weren't due to be ready for 6-8 weeks after the wedding, Luke sent me some pictures of my dad from the wedding. I only asked for one if he could knowing he had many other projects going on. Luke truly went above and beyond in this request. I am so grateful to get a few pictures of my dad for the funeral and open house. Nygaard Photography is amazing on many levels. It's that personal touch that sold us. Luke has become a forever friend now. I feel like he knows my family as well now as I know his. I cannot thank Trisha Syverson enough for referring us to Nygaard Photography. Trisha had her wedding October 2020 and said you have to go with Nygaard Photography. That decision proved to be a blessing in more ways than just pictures. They are an amazing photography studio and highly recommended them and unbeatable prices for everything they do to make your day special/memorable. The only upsetting part was the follow-up after which was entirely out of their control because this was near late March early April when I got my proofs digitally threw email due to the pandemic. I would have preferred to meet one last time in person and to get my jump/flash drive of my copies that came with the package. In time I will get it within the next year but I'm in no rush to cause health issues for anyone. They also offer family and new baby options as well that I will be going with them in the future for family photo sessions!!!!!!!

They even helped us transport flowers around to different locations and provide a sewing kit after one of my bridesmaids ripped her dress!
