in college and knew that I wanted her to be my wedding photographer whenever I happened to get married (hadn't met my now husband yet, but was dang sure Olivia was the one). She and her husband Bryan started their business and subsequently blew me away the last few years with their talent and vision. My now husband knew that they were the only non-negotiable part of our wedding and so we booked them before we even found our venue. He had no strong feelings for any other photographers but by the time we got our engagement photos back, he was 100000% convinced that they were the only photographers for the job. We're both incredibly awkward people and we were very worried how we would translate on camera, but Olivia and Bryan are literal wizards. The unconventional and completely brilliant way they facilitate shots shook us out of our initial awkwardness almost immediately and produced the most beautiful pictures we have of ourselves/each other. It did help that I was already friends with Olivia, but by the time they were photographing our wedding, they were besties with everyone. They are both so personable and professional that by the start of the biggest day of your life, you truly are just with friends that happen to be taking pictures of your every move. They get to know you on a personal level and my husband said that regardless of my knowing Olivia, he never felt like a client to either of them. I had a dress malfunction right away at the start of the "getting ready" pictures and Olivia took that time to photograph all the other aspects of my bridal party getting ready while I had a small freak out. She was there right away in the beginning to help as much as she could but also gave me a moment (a few, really) to regain my composure, which is exactly what I needed. There were a handful of "fixing" shots that are some of my absolute favorites because they're of my mom and my best friend taking care of me and the love that I felt is captured in those photos. One of our groomsmen misplaced his pants for a moment and for the sake of the "getting ready" pictures, Bryan literally gave our friend his pants. Brings a whole new meaning to "they'd give you the shirt off their backs", they'd literally give you the pants off their butts. The pants were found soon after but it's just a testament to how amazing Olivia and Bryan are and how hard they try to make the biggest day also the best day. Both my husband and I are in absolute awe of the sneak peeks we've seen, and that's just the sneak peeks. We truly cannot imagine anyone else capturing our wedding day the way that they did. Meeting Olivia was pure chance but it really feels like fate did me a solid because, wow. They are simply the best.

From our first consultation, they instantly felt like friends and we knew they were the perfect fit for our big day. They were instrumental in helping us create a smooth, stress-free timeline, and prompted us with questions that helped us think about exactly what photos we wanted taken on the wedding day, and who to include in them. We planned our wedding from out of state, so it was a huge benefit to have these two as a resource during a challenging planning process. On the wedding day, even though we hadn't met in person beforehand, we immediately felt so comfortable with them behind the camera. They both exuded kindness and warmth, and were our biggest hype-people. They expertly posed us and our families, making the formal photos so fun while also being super organized and efficient. During the more intimate moments like our first look and private vows, they melted into the background to capture the moment while still allowing us to focus completely on one another. We just got our sneak peek photos back and are blown away by how they were able to capture the feeling of our day in each photo. All of the emotion and love we were feeling that day shines in every picture. We are so grateful to have had Olivia and Bryan by our side during this milestone moment.

They make sure that the wedding is planned properly and work with your wedding planner. If we did not have them our timeline would have bombed! During the wedding they took well over 1k photos and the only answer to our requests was "Yes." When you get married it is truly a blur, and now we have thousands of memories to look back on! (They also send multiple personal gift basket that included gifts for my dogs.) A true 10/10

They also made our photoshoots an absolute blast (both the engagement and wedding photos), and they were so incredibly accommodating with all our requests. They accommodated engagement photos in Madison and wedding photos in Door County, and they scouted the areas before our photoshoots and offered location suggestions within each area for INCREDIBLE photos. We simply had so much fun working with them, and we felt so comfortable in front of the camera with them at the helm. We are so glad we invested in their services. Our wedding photos capture us, our dogs, our family, our friends, and our marriage perfectly (better than we could have articulated). Olivia made us feel at ease during our engagement shoot, despite our nerves about being in front of the camera. She also brought a pop up tent for us to use to change into different outfits, because that's just who she is: thoughtful and prepared. On wedding day we felt similarly taken care of. Bryan and Olivia constantly went above and beyond what we expected. For example, Olivia just happened to have two crochet hooks on hand (one of which she gave to me) to help with the buttons on my wedding dress. In one of our favorite photos from the day, even though you can't see him, Bryan is hiding behind a door he is holding open–just so Olivia can snap the cutest shot of us in front of the door, sharing a moment of laughter. There were countless other meaningful moments throughout the wedding process in which Bryan and Olivia made us feel special, and we were completely wowed by their skills (e.g. their handle on how much direction we needed--we thought the level they provided was ideal, their knack for finding the coolest places/lighting to shoot, and their ability to make us feel comfortable). In sum, Bryan and Olivia are a wonderful, supportive, organized team, and we couldn't be happier we hired them. You should too.
