We hosted our event at Oak Barrel Public House and couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the team was professional, accommodating, and so easy to work with...
. The venue itself has a great atmosphere — spacious, stylish, and perfect for both casual and more upscale events. The food was absolutely delicious (our guests are still talking about the Dynamite Mac & Cheese!), and the drinks were top-tier. Special shoutout to the staff for going above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. If you're looking for a Milwaukee venue that delivers on service, style, and fun — this is it!

We chose this caterer as one of our biggest wedding-day splurges because the tasting was excellent, and we were excited to serve that quality of food to our guests. Unfortunately, ...
our experience leading up to and on the wedding day was disappointing, and we would not recommend Cream City catering.
Communication throughout the planning process was inconsistent and often confusing. We experienced issues accessing the online portal that contained our contract, receipts, and food selections, and despite bringing it to their attention, it was never fully resolved. There was also significant miscommunication regarding the pickup and return of table linens, which created unnecessary stress during an already busy time.
Though we loved our cocktail hour appetizers, the biggest disappointment was the food itself. The meals served on our wedding day were noticeably different from what we were served at our tasting. The quality, flavor, and overall presentation did not meet the expectations that had been set, especially considering the investment we made in this vendor.
Your wedding caterer plays a huge role in one of the biggest days of your life, and we expected much better communication, organization, and consistency. We left feeling that the experience did not reflect the level of service or quality we were promised. We wish we had chosen a different caterer and cannot recommend this vendor based on our experience.
