All employees are insanely (I say this nicely) punctual and prompt with communication. As a bride planning most of the wedding myself, this was HUGE! I could always count on questions to be answered almost immediately, which made my job that much easier. Not only is the staff amazing, the venue itself checks all of the boxes. In my opinion, pictures do not do it justice so do yourself a favor and book a tour! The inside is super spacious and made it easy to have a buffet, dessert table, and photobooth separate from the dining room. The high wood ceilings really make it feel so open! Not to mention there are two bars to make sure no one is waiting on a drink! The outside ceremony location with the pond in the background was so gorgeous and they do such a great job with the landscaping and flowers to brighten up the place without you having to do that work! The catering company they partner with is also amazing. I really could go on and on. We would relive this day in a heartbeat and wouldn't have changed a thing. The layout made for the best experience for every guest with a picturesque formal dining room for dinner, a separate room for our photo booth/snacks, an outdoor area for the dance floor and cocktail hour, and another area as a rain contingency. Guests that don’t love dancing were still able to be outside near the dance floor and feel like they were a part of the party. To top it off, there were three bars making it super easy and fast for guests to get a drink, and there was a beautiful pond in the back for family photos. Amazing location, super private, and stunning reception hall for any event!

e. Our point of contact, Marianne, changed our date with no hesitation and completely understood. We planned our wedding from out of town and Marianne was great to work with from afar. Her communication was always prompt and precise, answering all questions and leaving nothing to question. Our day-of representative worked with our coordinator to ensure all needs were met. The venue required us to utilize their catering service, and both these vendors complimented each other very well. The venue itself is beautiful. We had 10 tables of 8 people in the main space and it filled out quite nicely. The venue was able to accommodate many more people than our 80, but the venue never looked too large for us. The venue is situated at the end of a long drive, offering the perfect amount of wooded ruggedness that we wanted. While this is a functioning club house, all services were stopped for our ceremony. During our wedding day, the weather was unfavorable leading up to our ceremony. We had to shift our ceremony to the covered patio adjacent to the open-air patio. The venue did a great job helping us make this decision and ensured things would still run smoothly. For those looking to have their ceremony on the grassy area, it is on a slight rake and slippery when wet. We were concerned with elderly guests injuring themselves, so we opted for the covered patio due to rain. The venue offers a bridal suite for use during the event, but it is on the smaller side. There was enough room to seat 4 people, but it felt a bit tight. Nonetheless, it was still a great place to store belongings and take a break when needed. Our one problem area was access to the venue prior to the event. They opened the venue 30 minutes before start time and did not allow for on-site pictures before the 30 minute block. If you’re planning to do a first look or pre-event photos here, the 30 minute window is not ideal. In all, we have nothing but great things to say about the venue and staff. We would highly recommend their services!

The staff did a great job setting out the decor and even got pretty elaborate setting up the desert tables! We could not have asked for a better way to celebrate and would recommend!

The whole day was seamlessly perfect and I credit OBBT. As a side note, I was a 3x rescheduled Covid bride and they were supportive and accommodating throughout the whole process. Our original date was for the summer, but we finally made it happen in December. It was the best circumstance of all! The holiday decorations and the evening setting with the stringed lights provided a romantic ambiance I never imagined. We can't thank OBBT enough!

nderstated, nestled in the middle of the woods. From beginning to end, they were helpful, responsive, and professional. The venue is stunning. We loved the tall ceiling with chandeliers along with the large windows. The venue does not need too much decor, and they have amazing flowers and landscaping. We loved that we were the only wedding on our night. Marianne and her team were so helpful with rescheduling due to covid and they have great communication with Tasty Catering which is makes it so easy. Everyone talked about how beautiful and comfortable the venue was for our amount of guests (111). The only minor issue we had was people playing tennis during our ceremony which was outside under the covered veranda. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend this venue. Thank you Marianne for making our day so wonderful and felt so special. It was beautiful.

They were more than understanding during the pandemic situation and took the stress off of us as a couple. We did end up canceling our wedding for August of 2020 at Oak Brook Bath and Tennis due to COVID-19, but would highly recommend this venue and event team to future couples looking for a beautiful wedding venue! For the outside - the back fountain, patio, veranda and front of the building are elegant, beautiful and well maintained. It is perfect for any season and special occasion. It was a dream location for me and I had a splendid experience working with Marianne. Who is so kind, hardworking and graceful! The staff there is always quick to respond and patient to listen and work through things with you. They truly are the cherry on top of the experience. I would recommend this location.

Marianne and Jordan were there every step of the way and we could not be more grateful to them! The decor was a big stress of mine and they helped us in every way. Leigh wrote on a post-it note on every piece of decor so they knew every detail of how we wanted it setup. Marianne even got the fountain to stay on through our date! Every aspect of the day was amazing! All the preferred vendors (Tasty Catering & A Posh Production) worked seamlessly with OBBT and everything went so well! We had 163 guests and it fit the space well. The updated bars and flooring was an amazing surprise since it wasn't like this when we booked the venue. BEST VENUE AND BEST DAY EVER!!!!

ur wedding at another close by venue, but our plans fell through. We were bummed at the time, but it was an absolute blessing in disguise because then we found OBBT and fell way more in LOVE than we had even been with our original venue!!! I shudder to think of us missing out on this venue if our first hadn’t fallen through!! This venue was WAY better than any other we had seen in all ways - you have the entire space for just your party, they are so accommodating and helpful in staying within budget (very hard to find with other venues), the surrounding areas and venue itself are stunning, they are responsive and helpful with all parts of the process, etc etc I could go on and on. We were DIYing a part of the table decor that actually ended up being a little more time consuming than we had planned and all team members from OBBT on site that day completely took over and completed all of it with no questions asked. It was as if we had a fancy day of coordinator!! They made sure everything ran smoothly and also looked so genuinely happy for us throughout the day. Feels like a fun family there to help you :) l know we will end up missing someone and I apologize, but special shout outs to Marianne, Jordan, and Lauren for everything!!!! Also shout out to a woman whose name I cannot recall (so sorry!!) who helped with our rehearsal and was so sweet!! Thank you for making our day extra special!!!

Both were easy and flexible to work with. OBBT has done so many renovations with the flooring and updating the bar it was absolutely beautiful! The venue works only with Tasty catering which works out great because they know the venue so well and we’re able to answer any questions we had! Could not recommend a better place for a wedding!

Even though there was a bit of misting rain during cocktail hour, people were able to mingle inside without feeling crowded. When the skies cleared, people were outside on the patio and lawn as well as inside, which was exactly what we had imagined. When I saw pictures of Oak Brook while we were in the beginning stages of planning, I fell absolutely in love. I'm happy to say that Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club exceeded all of my expectations and made our wedding day a dream come true.

to explore all of our options before making our decision. We looked at 4 other places, and we kept comparing them all to OBBTC. My only concern with OBBTC was the size of the inside. I couldn’t envision it with all the tables and chairs setup. I called Marianne (she is wonderful) to see if she would let us see how it looked setup for a wedding. She said that it was no problem at all, and that they had a wedding scheduled that weekend. She let us stop by before the guest arrived to take a look at how it was setup. After that, we were 100% sold on the place. We invited 150 guest, with about 130 in attendance the day of. There was more than enough room. We had the ceremony outside down by the pond, social hour/dancing outside on the patio, and dinner/reception inside. There was plenty of room for everything and everyone, with space to spare. It is a very spacious venue. OBBTC offered a different type of uniqueness and privacy aspect that we wanted for our wedding. The staff is absolutely great. Everyone that I came in contact with at OBBTC was extremely helpful, and were willing to assist with whatever we needed. I honestly did not stress at all about the wedding knowing that they had it covered. Marianne was an absolute pleasure to work with from day one. She is very responsive, and offered to assist in any way that she could. She answered the many questions that I had. The day of person at the venue was Jordan, and she was on top of everything, and was a pleasure to work with as well. She made sure that I had everything that I needed. I did not have to worry about anything. Not one thing. Once I gave them the contact information for all of the other vendors, they called to let them know what time to arrive and to make sure they had everything they needed. I never once had to worry about coordinating arrival times of the vendors. If we had to do it all over again, we would without a doubt still go with OBBTC. There is absolutely nothing I would change about my wedding or the venue. I would 100% recommend looking at Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club as a wedding venue option. It is a great venue with outdoor/indoor options, depending on your preference. We have received many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was, and we have OBBTC to thank for that. Thank you to the entire OBBTC team for making our day special. It is a day that we will always remember.

The new renovations they have done in the past year have really made this venue gorgeous. We received so many compliments on how great everything looked.
