At Oak Spring Farms, we believe your wedding should feel relaxed, personal, and entirely
your own.
Located in Bellville, Ohio, near the heart of Mohican Country, Oak Spring Farms is a private
farm and barn wedding venue where couples enjoy exclusive access to the entire property
for their wedding weekend. We host only one wedding at a time, allowing you to celebrate at
your own pace surrounded by family, friends, and the people who matter most.
When you book Oak Spring Farms, the entire farm becomes yours. Spend the weekend
gathering around the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub and barrel sauna, enjoying peaceful walks
by the spring-fed pond, and making memories beneath beautiful Ohio sunsets. Guests have full
access to all amenities throughout the weekend, creating an experience that feels more like
a private retreat than a traditional venue.
The property features a historic two-level bank barn for ceremonies, receptions, and dancing,
along with a charming farmhouse that sleeps up to eight guests. With space for up to 150
guests, scenic pastures, mature oak trees, and beautiful countryside views, Oak Spring Farms
provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable celebration.
As a venue rental property, we believe your wedding should reflect your vision. You're free to
choose the caterers, photographers, bartenders, florists, and vendors you love most. There are
no required vendor lists or packaged wedding formulas—just the flexibility to create a
celebration that feels authentically yours.
And because we know pets are family too, dogs are always welcome.

I've always felt most at home in the country — slow mornings, the sounds of nature, and my puppies Frida & Diego by my side. Oak Spring Farms has been a blessing for our family, and this land has a way of slowing things down: the quiet, the seasons turning, the light moving across the pastures at the end of the day.
What I love most now is getting to share it. There's nothing better than watching couples arrive with their families and create unforgettable memories together. I put a lot of love and attention into every corner of this place — the little details you might never notice — so that everything's looked after and you can simply be here. And I'll always be a dog lover at heart so please bring your furry friends and make Oak Spring Farms your own.

We got married at Oak Spring Farms in May 2026, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We originally booked the house on VRBO because it was pet friendly and planned to get married at Mohican State Park. After seeing pictures of the barn, I re...
ached out to Johnathan and Judy and discovered they were also a wedding venue. We were thrilled to be able to stay on the property and get married there too!
Johnathan and Judy were phenomenal. They made everything easy, accommodated us so well, and were incredibly supportive throughout the entire process.
The property is absolutely beautiful and full of history. Every detail made our stay feel special. The house felt more like visiting family than renting. It was stocked with everyday necessities, and the labeled cabinets made everything easy to find and added such a homey touch.
We checked in Friday, decorated the barn, and then enjoyed a quiet dinner together before relaxing in the newly installed sauna. Having the house just steps away from the venue made the entire weekend feel peaceful instead of stressful.
We had a small wedding, so we held both our ceremony and reception upstairs in the barn. Everything being in one place was perfect. Johnathan and Judy provided table linens and several arch options, and we loved the large hexagon arch. The white wooden chairs were beautiful and surprisingly comfortable.
One unexpected favorite was the luxury restroom trailer. As a germaphobe, I loved that guests had separate men's and women's facilities separate from the house. Truthfully, they were nicer than my bathrooms at home!
We used nearly every inch of the property for photos. We had first looks around the house, our foot washing ceremony under the pavilion, and pictures by the pond, around the barn, and all along the driveway. Every corner of the property holds a memory for us now.
We loved that guest parking was away from the barn, keeping cars out of the background of our photos.
My husband and I have already talked about coming back every year for our anniversary to relive the memories we made where our marriage began. How many people get to do that?!
Whether you're looking for a getaway or the perfect wedding venue, book it. I will never stop recommending this place!
