Working under a talented local florist, she gained experience with the logistics of running a business, but decided a full-time storefront florist business was not for her. Thus, Oak Street Florals was born and is a "cottage industry" boutique floral design service run from home that is, yes, on Oak Street in Wakefield, Rhode Island.
