From the time we decided to book Oakhouse we had a couple of meetings to discuss our vision for the day, hopes and dreams, expectations and desires for our video and the moments we wanted to capture. Oakhouse helped us to make sure we felt heard and that we could entrust our dream to them and know that they would do an amazing job creating the footage behind the lens. Everyone at Oakhouse is so kind and easy to work with as well as very prompt with responsiveness which is important amidst the stress of wedding planning. We met our day of videographers a few weeks before our wedding day and she immediately helped to make us feel so heard, seen, celebrated, and very comfortable in her hands. Special shout out to Olivia!!! Thank you girl, you are amazing and have such a special art and talent!!! When we received our video we had to re-watch it at least 10 times haha. We are so in love to say the least, the video is so incredible and truly helps pull together lots of the special moments of the day into a shorter segment of time! We weren't sure if we wanted a videographer at first, but now my one piece of advice for brides (after experiencing their work/seeing the video) is to absolutely hire a wedding videographer, and even better, hire Oakhouse! The day is a blur, and Oakhouse captured so many moments that now we're able to re-live over and over again - it was the best reminder of our wedding day less than a month later! We had Taylor and Paige as our videographers and they were both so friendly, talented, easy-going, and were not at all intrusive. They captured genuine moments without making us "re-do" anything or do anything outside of just being ourselves. I said to my husband that I don't remember seeing them for half the day, yet we have video to prove they were there to capture every moment. :) We are so so happy with Oakhouse and would absolutely recommend to other couples!

They offered a variety of packages and we found one that not only matched our price point but also included everything that we wanted to assure would be captured on our big day-full ceremony officiated by one of our siblings, toasts, first dances, etc. Our videographer Devin spoke with us before our wedding day to answer any questions that we had and he also requested a list of all the special moments that we wanted on camera. On the day of our wedding, Devin was familiar with our venue and was extremely easy to work with-he made sure we felt special during each and every part of the day!
