Oakland House was, in my humble opinion, the best place possible to get married. My husband and I were supposed to get married in 2020, but everyone knows how that went. Robin, the... innkeeper, let us push all of our plans to the following year, and it was fabulous. We later learned that we were their first wedding! I was mostly in contact with Grace and she was absolutely wonderful. If I had any questions, Grace had the answer for me. They took care of all the details and even put up our decorations that we had sent to them the previous year. Since no one at the time would deliver a wedding cake to the venue, my husband and I baked our own cake and then they allowed us to frost and decorate our cake there the day before. The entire day was absolutely perfect! The rooms are gorgeous, the breakfast was delicious, the hor dourves must have been great because the guests ate them all before we were done with pictures, and dinner was sublime. They also take care with the finer details. We had a charcuterie board with fruit waiting for us in our room after our reception. Honestly, we were blown away with everyone we came into contact with during our wedding.
