We loved having our wedding at the Oaklands Mansion. I let the house be our backdrop and didn't even worry about decor for our ceremony! The property makes getting ready on the day...
of so great, and I love that there was a flow to the day for the guests. We had our ceremony on the front lawn, our cocktail hour on the back patio, and our reception in the adjacent reception hall. I highly recommend using the on-site coordinator, Connor. He's so wonderful to work with, and he provided me with so much direction leading up to the wedding. Can't say enough about him!!
Could not be happier with our wedding and reception here-- Nashville-area brides looking for an affordable option should definitely consider Oaklands Mansion. We loved that it was ...
local, and it is absolutely stunning (photos do not do it justice). Also very convenient for our guests to have our ceremony and reception at the same location. We had our ceremony on the front lawn and reception on the back patio, but they also have a beautiful ballroom to book for an indoor ceremony/reception or to use in case of rain. Inside the mansion made gorgeous moody, romantic, vintage-inspired photos, and was a novel place for our guests to mingle during cocktail hour. I HIGHLY recommend booking their month-of coordinator Connor as well. He was exceptional, knowledgeable, and so thoughtful. I have him to thank for the day running so smoothly.
We just had our wedding here on Saturday and it was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend choosing Oaklands Mansion if you appreciate simple elegance and a historical venue! We fell...
in love with the beauty of the grounds when we first toured, looking for a wedding venue, and the reception hall was the perfect size for our lower guest count. Connor was fabulous through the entire wedding planning process, he answered all my emails so quickly and even met with me multiple times in person. He has such a calming presence that keeps you less stressed and he's so fun to work with! Highly recommend this venue, we wish we could relive our special day there all over again. Our ceremony was on the grounds in front of the mansion and happy hour was behind it where pretty string lights are hung up. We received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was!
Not only is Oaklands rich in history, but it is a wonderful place to host an event. Our wedding was an absolute dream. Oaklands Mansion is much more beautiful and way more accommod...
ating than other historical sites in the area. Their pricing is extremely fair as well. I can't say enough great things about Connor. He was SO wonderful to work with! Not only is he extremely professional and flexible, but he really listened when it came to bringing our vision to life. He worked so hard on our big day, alongside our vendors, to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you, Connor, for swinging those big, beautiful doors open for me to walk down the isle. We are so thankful Oaklands is a part of our memories forever.
We didn't end up using this venue, due to a change in circumstances. But they were asking when we initially thought we were going to use the mansion. Very informative, and very hel...
