Oaklawn is a magnificent venue in Buckingham, VA, offering a tranquil setting for the perfect outdoor wedding. We are situated on 380 acres of beautiful farmland right in the heart of Virginia. The estate is nothing short of breathtaking, with two bodies of water, including a four-acre pond with a dock, a lighted fountain, and an eight-acre lake. There are many facets to the property to make sure your vision is made a reality. We have the immediate 10 acres of meticulously landscaped and manicured grounds surrounding the Mansion, which was established in 1839. There are many colorful trees, plants, and bushes, depending on the season, that make for an amazing backdrop, including a wisteria-covered Pergola, a historic barn, and a handmade Amish gazebo. We accept outside vendors of your choosing and recommend hiring a tent during potentially rainy seasons.
