eyond the day of the wedding (including helping me with the bobby pins in my hair during the reception!). We had our ceremony in the ballroom as well and due to our bands needs, we had to adjust the way that the ceremony was facing. Ann was right there with an idea that worked perfectly. The entire staff was great; we have heard nothing but good things about the experience from our 150 guests. We were so happy at our food tasting as the food was delicious! A lot of times at weddings the food is just okay but this was some of the best wedding food we have ever had (a lot of our guests agreed!). The ballroom at the Club is beautiful as well as the golf course where we took pictures. Even though it was a little cloudy/rainy the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. We would fully encourage anyone looking to get married to check out Oakley Country Club for their venue.

y of Saturday dates still available for 2015 when we booked in January of that year. After looking at many places that couldn't accommodate us until a Sunday in June 2016, this seemed miraculous! The price was relatively affordable ( small fee for the room, and reasonable prices for delicious food and drink). The room was simple and tasteful, not gaudy and dated like some of the other country clubs we visited. Location in Watertown was convenient to the city and airport, which was a must due to our large volume of out of town guests. The best part of the whole experience was working with the wedding coordinator, Ann Messina. Ann is incredibly professional, and her calm, self assured demeanor immediately put me at ease. With her guidance, the task of planning and executing a 200 plus person wedding became much more manageable. She had great recommendations for other vendors. She was always confident that things would work out fine, even when we thought we might have more guests than the venue could accomodate! Ann always had a plan. We can't thank her and the other staff at the Oakley for helping to make our wedding day stress free, fun, and memorable for us and our families!

essina was there every step of the way. She answered all my questions (which were many) and worked closely with me while I was out of the country for work (which was most of the wedding planning time). The venue has a full kitchen and they do their own food. You have many different options for all the courses of your meal. There is a cocktail room and a large banquet hall that fits 200 people. Its completely covered in windows to a gorgeous view of the golf course and you can even see the Boston sky line. There is an area on the course specifically for pictures where you can get that beautiful background. My wedding turned out perfect and I owe it all to Ann and her wonderful job!
