t Millcreek Park in Youngstown, OH. She hiked all through the park, climbed over rocks and worked with our two Aussies to get the most amazing pictures we've ever had! Needless to say, we were beyond excited for our wedding day and the photos of the celebration! Greg and I got married at Ogleybay, WV on Saturday September 17, 2022. While we haven't seen our wedding video or our final picture edits... Alexa gave us a sneak peak of photos from our wedding. I was instantly taken back to all of the memories and special moments the day held. I cannot wait to see the rest of their incredible work. If you are looking for a photo/video duo for your wedding day - I couldn't recommend Alex and Wes, more, if I tried. They are so in-tune with each other and watching them work together is truly magical. Their work is immaculate and timeless. I cannot wait to have them continue to capture our lives special moments over the course of our lifetime! Alex and Wes - THANK YOU. For giving us one of the most precious and valuable things from our wedding day - physical reminders of the love, joy and sheer happiness that was our wedding day. e have ever met. We planned our wedding entirely remotely as we live in another state, but never once felt unprepared when working with Alexa. From our first consultation to the wedding day, she listened to what we wanted and made sure it happened. My husband and I got married in an outdoor ceremony in October and wanted those crisp Pennsylvania autumn days we grew up loving to translate to our photos, and after running around in a field behind our venue at golden hour, they definitely did! My husband and I, and all of our guests, are completely obsessed with the incredible photos that Alexa and Wes captured of our wedding day and will cherish them forever.

They even took us back out around sunset for more and that time with my husband is some of my favorite from wedding day They provided the pictures and video very soon after our wedding and we were in AWE! In LOVE with them is an understatement and can’t wait to put them all over the house. They weren’t afraid to tell people to get out of the way when they needed space haha or to take us away to get certain pictures they knew we’d love. The fact that they’re a husband and wife team makes them very unique and just that much better; they work so well together! Also, before and after the wedding they were so easy to work with and stayed in touch with us the entire time. first glance at their website, we knew their style was just what we were looking for. Their work speaks for themselves, it is not hard to see how incredibly talented they are! In addition to their talent, Alexa and Wes are professional, full of advice, responsive, and just really nice people! Despite shooting tons of weddings, we really felt our video and photos were tailored to match our personalities and feel of our wedding day, which we truly appreciate!

Wes were incredibly professional, polite, prompt, and made the day flow so nicely in regard to portraits. Both my husband and I felt relaxed and comfortable , which was a relief considering we decided to forego engagement photos and have never been in front of the camera before. My only regret is not taking advantage of the videography services they also offer. Thank you Alexa and Wes for documenting our wedding day!

budget. Being the insufferable cheapskate that I am, I wasn't initially on board with hiring Oakwood. I wanted to go with a friend-of-a-friend who'd give us a huge discount. However, comparing the quality of their work, my husband and I couldn't justify passing on Oakwood. Indeed, when we got our pictures, we were over the moon about their quality and presentation! Totally worth everything we spent, and then some. Alexa is professional, friendly, extremely talented, and easy to work with, which was important for us, since we planned our wedding from a thousand miles away. She hadn't shot a wedding at our venue before, but within five minutes, she had picked out the best possible locations for pictures and produced beautiful results. Some photographers can be pretty resistant to suggestions and pushy, but Alexa was more than happy to accommodate us. With all the stress that goes into pulling off a wedding, the last thing you need is drama from your photographer; Alexa was the most positive, calming, and joyful person to work with! We're thoroughly pleased with Oakwood! We'd recommend it to anyone, and we're excited that we get to work with Alexa again at my sister-in-law's wedding next month!

own out, cut off, or crooked. There is also a lot missing. I saw the second shooter was taking pictures but they were not included? I feel that 421 pictures is not a lot for the time that they were there. (About 7 Hours) Examples: There are no pictures of the best man and maid of honor together. There is so much missing and that doesn't make sense. - There is a picture of the chandler and the sunset that they posted to their own personal facebook but didn't give me. She told the BBB that she took this picture with her cell phone for her own personal use. She also was posting to her facebook during my wedding. She was very rude to a few of my guest. Her boyfriend was the second photographer. They were outside taking pictures of themselves during the time I was paying them to take pictures! Then they posted these pictures to their facebook, before I even got these horrible pictures back. I asked them to give me the raw photos and they declined. They are also ignoring my attorney’s calls and emails and letters. Her father has sent me a threatening message and also is posting slanderous comments about me on Oakwood Photography's facebook. I have all the documents to prove this and would be glad to show anyone that wants to see.
