We had a phone call with her before the wedding to iron out which pictures with which family members we needed and she gave us tips on how to make the day go perfectly. Day-of, I was amazed at how much she was doing to capture the details of the decor, our guests, and the subtle moments I wasn't even aware of until after we received the pictures back. Communication was fast and friendly, planning was smooth, and her services were absolutely unbelievable. She returned to us 900 PICTURES of the day. NINE HUNDRED. All beautifully edited and perfect! I called as soon as the wedding date had been established. Oana took my engagement photos as well as my wedding photos. She worked well with my videographer and made both me and my husband feel so comfortable taking photos. My photos were in Southern California and I relocated to Texas after the wedding. Oana even put up with my crazy idea to take beach photos in January for part of our engagement shoot. The photos are a dream. Oana was instrumental in making sure we got all the shots in, even with our EXTREMELY tight timeline (she also helped develop our timeline so we could maximize her services). I told her to "boss us around" to make the most of our time, and she really did (without being too bossy!). She was very proactive, and thought of things I never would have. She sent the photos to us in a very timely manner, and even sent some out to our vendors so they could see all their hard work. I am so thankful for Oana and her assistant for capturing our big day!

She captured the laughter and the tears of the moment as well as the moments with my family that came to support. The beach proposal photo shoot quickly turned into a family photo shoot and then an engagement shoot. She was extremely sensitive to the fact that the proposal was so new and that my emotions must have been running high, and she made the entire experience like a dream. She photographed our engagement photoshoot and our wedding and we would love to have her do our Christmas card photos, expecting photoshoot, baby’s 1st birthday, etc. Whereas posing for a camera might come naturally for many, being photogenic, in my opinion, is not one of my strong fortes. What I appreciated in Oana is that she took into consideration my fears and worked through them. She made us feel completely comfortable, which in the end lead to authentic and natural photos. Oana not only listened to our ideas and fears, but she also knew to arrange us in such a way that the final shoot looked flawless. Other photographers will just take the picture to take the picture and get through the hour you’re paying them. Oana was candid and honest—to which we thank her and value her even more for. She reminded me to point my toes to the ground so that my feet were not awkward. She arranged our hand and arm so that we don’t look like limp puppets. She pays attention to the detail. She will take the time to move that hair strand so that when you get your prints, you won’t regret that you had a two-inch strand across your face. With her, you can tell that it’s not just a job, but a passion. She will go that extra mile. She will put 110%. During her planning sessions with us, she foreshadowed certain hurdles we might face, which helped us plan even better for the unexpected. For our wedding, she recommended that I make a list of what order to take the family pictures and actually let everyone know in advance what order they were to take pictures with us. While it did not go 100% to that list, it still helped us control the flow of guests and family members wanting to take pictures and it helped us get to the reception on time. Oana was quite professional in her conduct. She always arrived promptly, She delivered on everything she said she would do. I like that she explained her expectations and was sincere and genuine. Dealing with her, did not feel like just transacting another business and working with another vendor. We wanted a photographer that listened to our needs, envisioned our dream, and could create magic—Oana succeeded in all those aspects. She heard us out and did not impose her agenda on us. She understood what we were looking for and then incorporated her talent and literally created photogenius (as I would like to call it).
