Oberer's Flowers

I thought I posted a review ages ago, but apparently not. I'm not a professional, but I have a little experience putting together arrangements and bouquets, so I decided to DIY my bouquets. Oberer's has a flower market where you can buy wholesale flowers and great reviews, so I decided to go with them. All they had to do was sell me flowers. No arranging them, no making bouquets, not even delivering them: just order some flowers and let me pick them up. Easy, right? 😬 My first mistake was answering honestly when they asked what I wanted bulk flowers for. As soon as the word "wedding" left my lips, it was like I was on mute. The person I was talking to stopped listening to anything else I said and tried to get me to talk to their wedding coordinator about a package. The poor guy at the register (Austin?) understood that I was only there for their flower market and tried to help me while his coworker kept talking over us. Eventually I got an order form and information on who to call to place my order. Placing my order was like trying to order a Hawaiian pizza from a 15th century Estonian monk. For some reason, even though they have a website where you can buy things, flower market purchases are done over the phone. The person on the other end seemed to be in a warehouse so we could barely understand each other over the background noise. On top of that, the flower names on the order sheet didn't necessarily match up with the names of the flowers in the database. At one point I made the mistake of saying the word "wedding" again and got transferred to the wedding coordinator literally mid-sentence. Finally, I managed to order the stems I wanted and paid for them over the phone. And then the worst was over and my flowers would be waiting for me on pick-up day, right? Nope. The day before my wedding, I went to pick up my flowers to find that some of the flowers I'd ordered and paid for over a month in advance were "sold out" due to homecoming. I don't really understand how something that was already sold and paid for can just be sold to someone else, but ok. While we were scrambling to replace the flowers that had been sold out from under me, one of the employees commented that they thought I'd be a lot more upset. The truth was that at that point, I was expecting another snafu and was actually kind of relieved that it was a relatively minor one. They're getting two stars because the flowers I did get were reasonably priced and in excellent condition (also they did refund me for the flowers I didn't get). The bouquets turned out absolutely beautiful, but I felt like I had to fight them every step of the way for what should have been a pretty straightforward transaction. Maybe their wedding packages are absolutely amazing, but for anyone looking to DIY, pass on Oberer's flower market. tl;dr- Bought flowers for my DIY bouquets through their flower market: was repeatedly ignored and talked over as they tried to upsell me on wedding packages. Went through a convoluted buying process just to find out the day before my wedding that roughly 1/4 of my flowers had been sold out from under me.

We met with several wedding florist. You can not beat Oberer's quality and price. Gabby was so accommodating and easy to work with. We met with her several times and her attention to detail was superb! We were very pleased with are wedding day flowers and couldn't have been happier. We would highly recommend Oberer's Flowers for any wedding.

Oberers is the best! Used to work there as a wedding Coordinator and always thought they did amazing but they out did theirselves for our wedding!

They did a great job with my flowers! We did bouquets and boutineers only. My bridesmaids loved their flowers and I loved mine. They delivered, had a very informative meeting to set everything up. I am really happy with them. Highly recommend!

We didn’t know much about flowers and what was a winter/ Christmas flower out side of poinsettias. Oberers was extremely helpful with sitting down with us to help our wedding look the best.

Beautiful and affordable flowers! I probably changed my order at least 3 times and they worked with me quickly to make the adjustments. Bouquets were delivered on time and were absolutely beautiful! I would definitely recommend Oberers for your wedding so that flowers don't break the bank!

Really love Oberers for their specials and daily floral arrangements however I would not recommend them for your wedding. I was pretty disappointed when they dropped off flowers at my wedding that didn’t even look like the descriptions and pictures I discussed with them. Not sure how they messed that up. Thankfully flowers are pretty and I wasn’t going to let that ruin our day.

Oberers was amazing to work with! We worked with Katie in West Chester! Their flowers are simply gorgeous. I was an out of town bride and she was very flexible working with me and making time to meet with me. She always answered my emails or called me back quickly. Katie gave me total peace of mind on my wedding day! And our flowers turned out just the way I wanted them! They were gorgeous!

The flowers were beautiful and exactly as we had planned. They did an amazing job and even incorporated my grandfather's blue handkerchief into my bouquet. The prices were reasonable for the beautiful work.

I highly recommend Oberer's Flowers of West Chester, Ohio. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and table arrangements were beautiful and highly affordable. Puma and her staff are fantastic.

My husband and I chose Oberer's Flowers on the recommendation of our consultant at the Madison Event Center. We worked with Puma and she was a dream, even managing to accommodate the last minute addition of a floral spray for the arch way. Our flowers were fresh, and completely stunning.

I was recommended Oberer's from two different people that I trust. Honestly they did a beautiful job, but working with them was stressful! Very difficult to get someone with the wedding team on the phone, the girl we planned everything with left the company so we had to start from scratch, and they were a little disorganized. I loved my centerpieces, but I was honestly worried things would not work out.

Loved my flowers, they were beautiful, the cake flowers were just what I wanted, they made sure my vision was fulfilled perfectly. My now husband even broke the flower off of his boutineer while we were downtown doing pictures. I had my bridesmaid call his mom and she called Oberer's they have a new boutineer delivered in 15 min. I was amazed. They did a great job.

I used Oberer's in West Chester for my recent wedding and could not have been happier. The flowers were even more beautiful than expected. And the price came in under budget. They delivered to both the chuch and the reception hall for no additional fee. I would definately use them again.

We used Oberer's Flowers in West Chester. They took some direction from us and created beautiful centerpieces at a great price. They delivered the bouquets to our hotel, altar flowers to our church, and set up the centerpieces at our reception venue no problem. We provided a few of our own vases that they were happy to work with and got every detail right. We had 16 centerpieces (half were really tall, half were smaller), 2 huge altar bouquets, bouquets for 5 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl, flowers for the mothers, and my bouquet. We hit our budget and didn't go over (unlike most everything else for our wedding!) They were so easy to work with I would highly recommend.
