Obsidian Duo

Carla and Daniel worked with us to customize our ceremony music. The music was beautiful, and they even have a portable piano they can use for outdoor venues or venues that do not have pianos.

They made the ceremony! Did a November Rain violin / piano instrumental and it was a hugh hit! They learned 3 songs for me, and played during our cocktail hour! Great price and great music!!

I highly reccommend the Obsidian Duo - if I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would!!! My husband and I hired them to play at our 9/3/11 wedding. They did an AWESOME job - the music was absolutely beautiful. Prior to the wedding date, Carla (1/2 the duo) was always so very kind and promptly answered any and all questions I had. My husband, daughter and I still enjoy listening to the CD they made for us of our ceremony music. One other piece of advice - I highly reccommend the Jazz piece written by Carla's husband as any Bride's exit music :)

I really wanted to walk down the aisle to Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah". Carla and Daniel Padron transcribed the music, and did a tremendous job playing that as well as all the other selections that they helped us choose to make our music wonderful. There was not a dry eye when I walked down the aisle! They were personable, and understood the different emotions we were going to have during our ceremony. They were very affordable, as well.
