was one thing that we definitely wanted to have, but a lot of the day-of coordinators out there were charging insane rates. Our photographer, CLY Chung, recommended Jasmine from O9 Events, and after comparing a couple different options Jasmine was definitely the best in both service and value. After our first meeting with her, we booked her on the spot! She was super friendly and enthusiastic, and I could tell that she was very organized. We also loved that she was familiar with our venue, the Harold Pratt House, since it has some peculiarities that might throw off someone unfamiliar with the building. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Jasmine and her team coordinated all of my vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page regarding the overall schedule. She was also there for the venue walkthrough and made sure to get all the details straightened out. On the actual day of, everything went absolutely perfectly!! Everyone was on schedule and everything looked just perfect! Jasmine did an amazing job coordinating both families and the bridal/groom party, most of whom were from out of state/country, and making sure they were comfortable and taken care of. It was seriously amazing to just be able to relax and enjoy the day without having to worry about any details! It was especially nice that she was Korean and able to communicate with our (Korean) parents as well :) Thank you so so much for making our dream wedding come to life!!

They came early to the venue and the two worked nonstop to get all the arrangements just perfect...working till the last minute and staying behind to over look that everything was perfect. worry about because of Occasion 9. I reached out to Occasion 9 after seeing a friend's wedding. As a bridesmaid, I got a close hand look at the bouquet and the centerpieces. The floral arrangements were gorgeous. Not only that, the floral arrangements were classy and exactly what the bride wanted. Working with them for my wedding, I was extremely happy to see how they really wanted to let a bride's personality and wishes shine in the floral arrangements. From my first meeting with Jasmine, Emily and her team to the day of the wedding, they worked very hard to make sure they understood who I was and what kind of look I was looking to create. Knowing that I am a DIY person who likes all things crafty, they arranged to have me observe them personally design the mock centerpieces in person so that I can see the steps. I enjoyed the experience so much more because of this. Any questions or concerns I had I was free to email them. I never waited more than a day to get a response. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, meeting with Occasion 9 was something I looked forward to and not stress over. They talked over design aspects and helped create and bring my vision to life at a loft venue that had nothing in it. They had a hand creating the ceremony aisle, cocktail tables, altar flowers, centerpieces and even rented out unity candles. They're also mindful of your budget and can work with you to keep to it. Occasion 9 also provides event planning and while I was already working with someone else, I would not hesitate to recommend them for the service based on my experience with Emily who is prompt, organized and knowledgeable. I only wish I could show the pictures of the floral arrangements so people can see how beautiful their work is but I hope you guys take my word for it!

ne + Emily were so helpful, kind and thoughtful the whole time. Not only did they stay within our budget and provide everything I asked for, they went above and beyond on our day. my bouquet was literally the most gorgeous bouquet i have ever seen. my chuppah was breathtaking--i still have people telling me how beautiful it was. regarding the chuppah, jasmine literally drew out her idea on the back of a piece of paper and she brought this vision to life--it was truly spectacular. the centerpieces were also stunning--looking even better than what we discussed in our meetings. also, in our final meeting to review centerpieces jasmine and emily gave me one of the centerpieces to take home! i have already recommended occasion 9 to several brides. i am so happy i decided to work with them for my wedding. they helped make our day truly special and beautiful!

oing for. Jasmine and her team were fantastic. They were able to throw out a bunch of unique ideas with tons of details that I would never have come up with on my own. The best part is that they work with your budget to make sure you get the most bang for your buck but everything still comes out looking so extravagantly beautiful. I got to take a sample centerpiece home after one of our meetings a couple weeks before the wedding. I had several people stop me on the street asking me where I got the flowers from and one guy even offered to buy it from me (of course I refused). Setup on the day of the wedding went smoothly. They were on time and worked very efficiently to get all the centerpieces and arrangements together. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and so unique (not like the same old arrangements you see at every other wedding). The centerpieces had so much different texture and they complimented the venue so well. I regret not preserving my bouquet but all the flowers photographed so well that I have pictures to last a lifetime. Thank you Occasion9!!!

From my centerpieces to the bouquets to the arch for the ceremony, everything exceeded my expectations. Emily and her team were absolutely amazing to work with-- I felt like I knew them for years! I am quite particular, however at our first meeting I felt very reassured that they understood my vision, and the end result surpassed my expectations. They created a full-size sample centerpiece that we reviewed together, and they paid close attention to the small changes I wanted to make for the final arrangements. Emily is responsive, proactive, professional, and a delight to work with. Flowers were truly one thing I never worried about because I knew they were in excellent hands. Although I only used them as a florist, it is clear that the team does more comprehensive wedding planning. Emily came to a meeting that I had at our venue and asked questions I hadn’t even thought to ask. They go above and beyond and are by far the most reasonable florist I came across in NYC. Highly, highly recommend!

day of my wedding. I do not live in New York, so communication was either done via email or phone. Communicating through email or phone was key, and they were always responsive! They always received questions and suggestions warmly, and genuinely provided feedback regarding price, idea, and wedding preparations. I always knew I was in good hands! They went above and beyond my expectations. My baker messed up the color scheme on my wedding cake by adding flowers that I did not ask for. I had no idea about this issue nor was it a problem for Jasmine and Emily. However, they willingly brought the problem to my attention and fixed the mistake that they didn't make. If it wasn't for their attention to detail, care and help I would have had a cake that probably would have stuck out like a sore thumb. Their thoughtfulness and concern not just for the flowers, but for the bride was evident. Jasmine and Emily are truly gifted in what they do. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements were fresh, beautiful, and modern. Even though I had no idea about which flowers to use, Jasmine and Emily captured the romantic and vintage vibe that I had in my head with the flowers perfectly just by having a conversation about my wedding! In the end, everyone complimented me on flowers, but all credit is definitely due to Jasmine and Emily. I am thankful I got to meet and work with such wonderful ladies who were not just florists, but a concerned and caring friend. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!
