I could not be more thankful for Tracey and her services with Occasion Designed. Her professionalism, organization, advice and attention to detail was beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. She made the planning of the wedding enjoyable and I looked forward to the phone calls and planning sessions with her. In addition to that, she is warm, kind and personable. I have to say when the planning was done I was very sad and missed our time together. She made the day of and all of the days leading up to my daughter and son-in-laws so special. Tracey was a godsend. We paid for the full package with her, which was not only beyond worth the money, but also so well priced for the amount of work she put in. Every single minute detail was handled by Tracey -- we hardly had to worry about a thing unless we truly wanted to. She is also so well known and well respected with all the Omaha vendors. She was practically able to give their tours/overviews for them! Beyond her amazing work on the day-to-day tasks, Tracey was a joy to work with. She made you feel like her #1 priority at all times and was such a light during the whole stressful process of wedding planning. I was so so sad to part after our wedding was over!

Tracey is the epitome of professionalism. You can quickly tell that she genuinely loves what she does in helping create perfect weddings. Her ability to make you feel like a part of a family is an attribute that not many people have.There were many times where I forgot she was actually doing a job! I even get sad that we don’t have our biweekly meetings anymore. There are many reasons why I think Tracey is great, but her character is the defining aspect that everything leads to. One of the biggest things I appreciated from Tracey, is the way she would provide her professional opinion in an unbiased manner. We never felt like we had to do exactly what she presented. Nor did she ever make us feel bad about an idea. There were many times where I may have had an outlandish and crazy idea. Instead of laughing me off, she would build off of that and we would create an even better idea. She has a gift for listening and building. Another trait of Tracey that I admired was her organization skills. One of our very first meetings, we took the time to go over her expectations of us and what she needed from us by what dates in order for her to successfully do her job. She created a folder for us that would track all deadlines, every vendor we worked with, a rough budget, paid and outstanding invoices, etc. This way we could update things as we checked things off of the list or included additional details or whatever it may be. The point is, it is very thorough and extremely organized. This type of organization was crucial as we got to the days leading up to the wedding and making sure everything was ready. On the day of the wedding, Tracey was like a ninja. She stayed in the shadows making sure everything was running smoothly, but she was easily accessible when we needed something! She seems to have a 6th sense for that. You could see the happiness that filled Tracey during our wedding. She was genuinely happy for us and It made me so happy to see her hard work come to fruition on our wedding day. I have been to weddings where everything seems to go wrong whether that be technical issues, issues with food, seating charts, or worst of all, terrible weather. I attribute everything that went well to Tracey! Yes, even the great weather we had. She has a cheerful spirit that figuratively and literally denies “cloudy days”! Tracey has my deepest level of appreciation for making our special day so fun and easy! I can’t recommend her enough. If you have a specific date in mind, and Tracey already has that date booked, change your wedding date. I can guarantee you she is worth it.

We had the privilege of having Tracey as our wedding planner for our September 2024 wedding! Tracey was referred to us by a friend - and we would refer her to anyone we know getting married or planning an event. Tracey is very organized, thoughtful, and planned our wedding with the upmost attention to detail! Tracey poured her energy and time into our wedding, and went above and beyond what is “typical” of wedding plans. She referred us to some of the best vendors in the wedding business - from florals, to photo booths and more. Our wedding was perfect thank you to all of Tracey’s time & attention!

Coming from the groom's perspective, I would highly recommend Tracey for anyone planning a wedding in the Omaha-Council Bluffs area. What impressed me most about Tracey was her ability to take a dizzying array of options and condense it into a format that is easy to digest. When planning a wedding, there's a seemingly endless number of potential things to decide (ex. color schemes, flower arrangements, decor), and Tracey did a fantastic job presenting these many considerations in a format that made decision making easy and quick. Essentially, Tracey would ask my wife and I the big picture questions, and she would take all of the action needed to implement our vision--my wife and I weren't left spending hours poring over tedious, minor details. Tracey was extremely well connected in the local community, and it seemed like every vendor we visited knew her personally. It was readily apparent that Tracey knew the vendors' offerings inside and out--in some cases, she knew the vendor's offerings better than the vendors themselves! Tracey was very responsive to our emails and questions, and her many years of experience showed in her keen recommendations--her extensive knowledge of event planning was evident and extremely helpful. The wedding itself was absolutely fantastic, and, thanks to Tracey, my wife and I were able to truly enjoy our wedding day versus running around trying to manage all of the minor details. Tracey is quite personable, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. I should also mention that Tracey's fees were extremely reasonable given all of the work she does--her fees are well worth all of the services and benefits she brings. Tracey was absolutely amazing to work with and made our wedding dreams come true! When we ended our first meeting, I felt a huge weight off my shoulders and continued to feel grounded throughout the process because of her help. She’s so talented… she’s efficient, organized, kind and supportive and really seeks to understand your vision and needs. In addition to guiding the planning process with incredible skill, she also orchestrated our wedding day to be absolutely perfect. I was so relaxed the entire day and able to enjoy every minute of it because of her help, and I know it was the same for my family, too.

My mother passed away in the early months of planning my daughters wedding. I had been planning the wedding on my own but realized that it was too much for me to handle alone along with my grieving. Tracey was recommended by a close friend and described as calm, efficient and no nonsense- just what I needed. Tracey was all those things and much more. It was initially such a relief to have her keep us organized and on task, setting up timelines and setting priorities . Right away the planning felt less daunting and more pleasurable. I appreciated how Tracey laid out options for each step of the decision-making process, and was very intuitive about our vision. We appreciated her” don’t worry, I’ve got this” attitude. Here is a couple examples; we used the same room at the Cottonwood, for the wedding, and reception and because of this, the hotel felt that we had to have some tables set up in the back of the room so that they could flip the room more quickly. I was concerned about how this looked. We thought perhaps we could find a creative way to hide the tables with pipe and drape or putting flowers on them but in the end, it just didn’t feel right to me. I was resigned to this, and just hoped that we could overlook it .When I walked out with my daughter and family to get ready for the procession, the tables were gone. Tracy had pulled some strings, used her soft,kind manner and made the tables disappear. That was a detail that really just meant a lot to me. Also, at the end of the evening I was so tired and she just looked at me and said “I’ve got this, you go to bed. I’ll clean up,I’ve got it all taken care of.” After the wedding, she helped with all the final details, giving me a checklist of all the lens that needed to be dealt with. She also made sure that all the vendors were paid and looked at the bills thoroughly before we did pay them. Tracey made sure that if there were any changes that we got reimbursed appropriately. She really is very detail oriented and is the whole package from beginning to end of the wedding planning process. We really appreciated her demeanor. Her gentle manner at the tone for the planning process, and that was a very nice experience for us.

Tracey was amazing and on top of everything we never knew we needed!! Without her our special day would not have run as seamlessly as it did with Tracey!

Everyone has some wedding planning anxiety, but Tracey and Occasion Designed removed so much of it and made the planning part fun! They are incredibly organized, very detail-oriented, and the perfect mix of leading the charge, but still not compromising the wedding of your dreams. We could have not done this without her and her team. I am also sure we would have not been so calm on our wedding day if it was not for the confidence they instilled in us. We had an amazing experience with Occasion Designed! We had a relatively short period to plan our wedding/reception (4 months) and Tracey Fricke jumped in and took care of all the details. She was extremely organized and on top of all deadlines. I appreciated this so much as I could focus on other things and not feel the stress from the big event. This was our first child/daughter to get married and I wasn't sure what to expect or where to start. Tracey had energy, excitement, positivity, and kindness. By the time the wedding day came, we were ready but not expecting the wrenches that would be thrown in that day. The night before, Omaha had a huge summer storm. We woke up the next morning to power outages at our wedding and reception venues. The day was a roller coaster of not being sure what would happen. Tracey helped us figure out our plan B. She was calm and creative. Luckily the power returned for our reception venue in time and everything was beautiful and perfect. I would definitely recommend Occasion Designed to anyone and we will definitely use them again!

Tracy was absolutely wonderful! Our wedding planning process was complicated by covid and we had to change our date due to it. Our 6 month engagement turned into a 18 month process due to circumstances. Not only did we have date changes but I was forced to travel away from home for a year during our planning process, so Tracey set up many virtual meetings to plan our wedding from two different states. On weekend trips home she would have an itinerary of meetings, tasting, and showings to keep us on track with the wedding process. She handled all contacting, negotiating, and rescheduling of vendors with ease due to the date change. Tracey has multiple vendor contacts in the industry which makes the process smooth and less overwhelming for new brides. She was recommended to us through a word of mouth referral (the best yet). Not only was she a great wedding planner, but became a close friend and confidant. We both have Frenchies so naturally I knew I would lover her. Tracey is heartfelt, warm, and compassionate not only about what she does but for her couples she works with too. Her service and smile show it!! Highly recommended! Planning a wedding from 500 miles away was a daunting task. We live in Chicago but wanted to get married closer to family and friends in Omaha, so we knew we'd need as much help as we could get. We're so lucky that we found Tracey. She was perfect for the job. First of all, she's done this many times so she knows her stuff. She's familiar with many venues and vendors, making the planning process easy. She isn't pushy about picking things the way she likes them. She simply offers suggestions and is willing to work with whatever you want to do. She also did a great job estimating our costs during our initial meeting, meaning no unpleasant surprises later on. And of course on wedding day, she operates a smooth machine. Secondly, she genuinely loved getting to know us. Most of our meetings with her were virtual due to the distance, but we could feel her excitement through the video calls. She was always eager to meet up with us whenever we were in Omaha. It was an honor having her as a "guest" at our wedding, and she's genuinely excited to stay in touch after the wedding, as are we! Finally, we're one of many COVID couples... our original wedding was planned for Spring 2020. Of course that meant we had to delay the event... what a nightmare that could've been. We don't know what we would've done without her. For starters, she showed her emotions when we decided to postpone it... another sign she truly cared for us. That meant a lot more work for her in a situation that she had never navigated before, but she did it flawlessly. We got everything rescheduled for a year later, and she even helped us plan a small family-only ceremony so we didn't have to wait a year to officially be husband and wife. So yeah, she helped plan a wedding a for us, reschedule it, plan another mini-wedding, coordinate the mini-wedding on the wedding day, redo much of the work in 2021 that she did in 2020, and coordinate the big ceremony on that second wedding day. Not only that, she didn't even charge us for the extra work... and we weren't her only clients in that situation. We can't imagine how hectic 2020 and 2021 have been for her, and we never heard her complain once. That's the kind of person she is: personable and professional. Both necessary traits for your wedding planner!

We feel so luck to have found Tracey of Occasion Designed to help us with our wedding. She is a true professional. Not only did we have the best experience, but it was clear to us that all of our other vendors respected Tracey and had a history of great experiences working with her over time. We had our wedding in Omaha at the Joslyn Art Museum, and were planning it remotely from Los Angeles while both working full time. Tracey kept the entire process organized. She always let us know what decisions we needed to make next, and gave us great advice on how to make our day as smooth as possible. She coordinated with all of our vendors to make sure the orders included everything that was needed, she brought things out of her own inventory (like table numbers and a frame and stand for the welcome sign), and made sure every vendor and member of the wedding party (and us!) knew exactly where they needed to be and when at all times. We had the best night of our lives, and all of our requests were followed through on. So many of our guests complimented us on how well organized the wedding was. We really could not be happier with Tracey's ability to produce a fun, beautiful, and well-organized event. Thank you so much, Tracey!!!

Tracey was beyond anything I could have imagined for a wedding planner. Getting married during Covid was a challenge but Tracey’s drive to ensure our day was perfect never wavered. With ever changing guidelines, Tracey went to great lengths to make sure there would be no surprises leading up to or during our wedding. There were times when news wasn’t what we wanted to hear either from the venue or the State and she was ALWAYS upfront and honest about what our best options where. Tracey was solution oriented and used every resource available to her to make sure we had options at every turn. Through all of this it’s evident that planning and creating our perfect wedding day was as much of a thrill for her as it was for us. For any guys thinking a wedding planner might be unnecessary... I was right there with you. I’m telling you now, just talk to Tracey once and your mind will be changed. On a day that can be stressful if everything is not in order I felt none of that and I know it’s because Tracey was there to take care of every detail. 11/10 would definitely recommend Tracey.

Tracey was the best investment into our wedding day! Her wealth of knowledge and planning skills are unparalleled. We hired Tracey 4 months before our August 8th 2020 wedding at the Joslyn Art Museum. Planning a wedding during COVID was becoming more and more stressful, and we needed help trying to navigate the ever changing guidelines. Tracey went above and beyond to help us plan our special day. She listened to every press conference, and even made calls into mayors office to figure out more information. With her help we were able to have our wedding! The day of our wedding, Tracey had a timeline for the wedding party to follow, she set up the reception/ceremony, and did all the coordinating between the vendors. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the day! My only regret was not hiring Tracey as sooner!!

I would recommend Tracey and Occasion Designed to everyone! From the start to the end of the wedding planning process, Tracey made my life easier and my wedding planning experience stress free. Tracey is highly organized and came to every meeting with us with an agenda. She had a timeline checklist of when each task needed to be completed. She made the vendor selection process seemly my providing her top 2-3 recommendations for us to choose from. The entire planning process was seamless, including moving the date due to COVID and reducing the head count from 200 to 40. Throughout the whole process Tracey was extremely respectful of our budget and always took what was important to us into consideration. On our wedding day, my husband and I (and out moms) got to enjoy everything instead of worrying about details. Tracey took care of everything! I can't say enough good things about Tracey! The best decision we made for our wedding was to hire her as our wedding planner. She is kind, organized, super responsive, experienced, and truly cares about her clients and making their wedding perfect. I don't know what we would have done without her, especially when COVID hit and our original wedding had to be drastically altered. She communicated with vendors, updated contracts, made sure deposits were moved to the new date, and a million other things. She took care of everything down to the tiniest details, not once, but twice: first for our small family ceremony and then again for our reception a few months later. My husband and I cannot overstate how much we appreciate her. She is the absolute best in her field, and on top of that just a wonderful, warm, loving person. I can't recommend her enough!

If I could give more stars than 5, I would!! I loved how innovative Tracey was. She put more time and effort into planning and executing our wedding than I ever thought possible. You can tell she has been in the business for a long time because she definitely ran a smooth ship. She is extremely organized, patient, vibrant, efficient, and flexible. You can tell she loves what she does...never complained or seemed stressed. Never made me feel like I was bugging her too much. Was quick to answer any questions I had. Honestly, I didn’t feel like she charged nearly enough for all the work she put into our big day. Loved working with her and would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

It is impossible to tell you how valuable Tracey was to the success of our wedding!!! She is worth her weight in diamonds!!! When someone is an expert at their job, they make it look easy, that’s Tracey!!! Our meetings were painless, they were efficient and convenient, she was never stressed or impatient (which made us comfortable/relaxed) and you never really saw how hard she was working until, BOOM! You walk into your own wedding and it blows your mind! The one thing I that scared me was: you don’t know how awesome she is until its your wedding day...of course you know immediately upon meeting her that she is fun and friendly and organized...then you learn that she is considerate and respectful of your time and money but you really don’t know if she is good at her job until it’s your wedding day...So, I want everyone reading this to know, she is AMAZING at her job!!! Don’t think twice about hiring her; she is the BEST! Our day was so perfect and so special and Tracey deserves all the credit in the world for that!!!

There is not enough words to describe Tracey! We had to move our wedding because of COVID. Tracey kept us calm the entire time and made me feel like I was the only bride going through this. She made it seem like all of the changes we had to make would be no big deal (when in reality I know she was working her tail off). All of my ridiculous requests throughout the entire planning process, she made me feel like were completely normal (like having a ranch fountain for my late night snack along with 3 other restaurants). She truly is one of the best people I have ever met and I was so lucky to have her plan our big day. She’s so kind, pleasant, calming, I could go on and on! But on the other hand we are a bit wild and we fit right in with her! She will be your biggest advocate when talking to vendors and will not make you feel crazy for any request you make. You need a Tracey in your life and more importantly you need a Tracey to plan your wedding!

Tracey brings the next level of personal service. In fact, it came to seem that she was part of the family through the whole planning process. There would be times I couldn't make a seemingly small decision. I would call Tracey up and she'd offer me different perspectives and talk me through our options. I always felt like I was her most important client. From handling vendor coordination through advising what was traditional and/or etiquette, she tackled everything we threw at her with class and an incredibly level head. Tracey is professional, responsive, and well-versed. Would happily recommend Tracey to any couple!

Hiring Tracey was the best thing we did when it came to planning our perfect wedding weekend! She is an expert in wedding planning. She’s organized, readily available for any and all questions, and she had excellent referrals. She really knows the industry! We loved our photographers, string quartet, florist, etc. She listened to my “visions” and made them all a reality. She organized our rehearsal dinner and J. Gilbert’s and our Welcome Party at the Marriott. On the day of the wedding, she had taken care of every last detail. The ceremony went off without a hitch at St. John’s church. The reception at the Joslyn Art Museum was truly perfect. I didn’t worry about anything the entire day, because Tracey had done such an amazing job. The day was easy and very organized, it was flawless. When I look back at my wedding weekend, I wish I could do it all again! We had such an amazing time, as did my friends and family. I’m a perfectionist and I honestly would not have changed anything. We live in Florida and planning a wedding in Omaha was so easy thanks to Tracey. She’s a true professional and a wonderful person! Hire her- you won’t regret it!

Thanks to Occasion Designed, our wedding went off without a hitch. Tracey was wonderful to work with, she was very professional, reliable, and friendly. We were never worried if something was going to be taken care of or not. Many of the things that might have made the wedding day stressful were taken care of by her, and it made the wedding day so much smoother.
