Absolutely delicious. The food was a massive hit!

Cannot say enough great things about Occasions and Gerard and the whole team!!!! When you work with Gerard, as we did for our wedding, your event is the only event they book for that day. Gerard told us this when we first met him, but I didn't appreciate the gravity of that commitment until the days leading up to the event and the day of. You truly feel that your event is the most important one to Gerard and his team. He was also with us through our walk-through, providing critical insight and feedback and adapting everything based on what we wanted. I had SO many guests come up and tell us that the food at our wedding was the best they had ever had. The beef was to die for! Also, Gerard graciously set up our escort cards and a few other last minute day-of items to make sure everything looked how I wanted. Gerard is family now, and we cannot recommend him enough! Im sure that if you use Occasions he will be a part of your family too :)

I was just recently married this past summer at Salvage One and we had Occasions Chicago as our caterer. From the beginning, Gerard and Marshelle were very responsive to our emails and were extremely helpful at making great suggestions to make the night go smoothly. At the final walk through, Marshelle was very helpful and I could tell I trusted her right away. The day of, I didn't notice any issues at all and Marshelle made sure to have a drink in my had right away so I didn't have to go to the bar. They helped me put together a specialty cocktail and accommodated all special requests for little details. The set up was beautiful! We had nothing but positive feedback from guests on the food, and my husband and I also thought it was delicious. The only complaint which I won't even take any stars off for, because I don't think it's a true reflection of their service, is that there was a sort of crabby bartender. The female was very friendly, but the older gentleman was not very nice. I heard this from just a few guests and when I went to the bar as the bride and the only person standing there at the time, he didn't even offer me a drink! I was a bit shocked by that...but I still highly recommend Occasions!

I cannot recommend Occasions highly enough! Their food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. They have terrific staff who were very attentive and professional. Every detail was thought of and handled well which made this mother of the bride completely relaxed and able to enjoy the evening. We worked with Occasions on our recent Chicago wedding. They were amazing to work with! I had so many little changes leading up to the wedding and Gerard never said no. He was always willing to work with me and come up with a solution for I wanted. All of our guests couldn't believe how good the food was. I had so many people tell me it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding. So pleased with how the food turned out. Marshelle, the coordinator, it simply amazing to work with. She is detailed, fast and very thorough. Everything was executed to perfection because of her and her team on the big day. Great affordable choice for Chicago catering!

I cannot say enough good things about occasions. They were a delight to work with the food was scrumptious and their service was top notch. We loved every bite and they did a sit down dinner for us with apps for under $120 a person. We could not have been more pleased with the flavor or the service - I would recommend them to anyone who asks. Do know that they can be a little had to get ahold of once you sigh your contract due to how small of an operation they are, but everything came off without a hitch And we could not have been more pleased!

Absolutely delicious, and amazing service. My grandfather was very upset when my Husband & I chose chicken and vegetarian for the food options. Biting into the pastry crust of a summer vegetable medley and cream sauce, he was changed. The linens were gorgeous and the appetizers were gone before making it halfway in the room. Great company!
