He didn't seem prepared with the music during our reception and there was a period of time after dinner when we were supposed to start dancing that there was absolute silence because he couldn't get his laptop to work to play the music.. probably about 15 minutes of silence. We contacted the owner after the event and he was very apologetic and offered a free service in the future, so they did have good customer service at least.

in not knowing what to expect, but when we walked out…we knew that we had found our DJ. Michael was so down to earth and really took the time to get to know us and what we liked. We had a small outdoor wedding and he was able to make the wedding feel romantic and intimate when need be and then have our guests dancing to great songs at other times. Music selections truly felt like a breeze because all we had to tell him was the kind of vibe that we were looking for at our wedding and we ended up getting a good flow of songs. Michael also provided beautiful lighting at our reception, which was a very nice touch. We were just expecting a few up lights here and there, but he went above and beyond our expectations in this area and was able to create a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere for our reception. DJ Michael formulated a vision for our cocktail hour and reception and because of him; we had absolutely no stress associated with the entertainment of the night. Not only is he courteous and professional, but he is also personable and is a lot of fun to work with. He truly made our day personal to us and our guests! We cannot say enough good things about Michael and we highly recommend DJ Michael and his assistant DJ Matt from OCDJ Company to anyone who is looking to DJ an event.
