loved our entire experience there. Ivy was communicative, professional, and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The only thing I would suggest is blocking off the downstairs bathrooms for wedding guests only. Resort guests were pocketing many of the items in our bathroom baskets, although this was out of Ocean Edge’s control. Overall, we had a 12/10 experience!

on, professionalism, and attention to detail was second to none. We started the weekend with a Welcome Party in the Carriage House on Friday Night. We had many guests coming from out of the area and were staying onsite and this was a perfect evening for everyone to gather the night before our wedding. Everyone enjoyed the delicious hors d'oeuvres and stationary displays. The bartenders and servers were so welcoming and ensured everyone was well taken care of. Our wedding day was simply incredible! Our beach ceremony was perfect and was executed seamlessly thanks to the planning and attentiveness of the entire OE team. My wife and I had our first look on the boardwalk. Ana and the team ensured that we were able to have our private moment together and it was so special! Our cocktail hour took place around the Bay Pines Pool. The setting was a perfect transition from the beach, and we were grateful to be able to add some additional décor to enhance the space to match our vision. All our guests were wowed by the passed appetizers and stationary displays! Our reception took place in the Bay Pines Pavilion, and it went far above and beyond our expectations! We had a vision for the space, and we were blown away by Ana and the entire team who worked with our vendors to execute our design with unmatched precision and finesse. We chose the buffet stations, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed each one of our choices! Ana and the team kept everything on time including toasts, speeches, and dinner, ensuring we had ample time on the dance floor with our family and friends. After the reception, we went to Bayzo’s Pub for a few final drinks. A special thanks to Matt for his hospitality! Our guests continue to rave about our wedding and how gorgeous and seamless the day was. We cannot thank Ana and the entire Ocean Edge team enough for their help and attention to detail throughout the entire process. We are so pleased to have been able to create these special memories at such an amazing resort!

he venue Traci welcomed us with open arms! It was a small wedding but they still made us feel so special and valued! Ivelina was so great helping us to figure out what we wanted, helped us with every question and detail! Without them it would not be so perfect! I want to do it all over again! 100% recommend the Ocean Edge in Brewster!

eel like a bother asking a million questions. She anticipated my every need and move and was always 1 step ahead. I wish every bride can have an Ivy. I toured with Traci Peigh | Catering Sales Manager, who I would also like to give a large shout out to. She was so sweet and so helpful. We had one hiccup with another Tracey, Resort Manager, who yelled at my photographer for taking photos in the road. They had octoberfest that weekend as well, it didn’t impact my day but finding areas for large family photos was difficult. I don’t think the way the resort manager handled that situation was appropriate at all and came off as unprofessional, and momentarily brought down our wedding experience. Otherwise, we LOVED ocean edge and everyone from the bartenders to wait staff to the front desk staff was wonderful. Our location was carriage house, food was delicious, clam chowder and lobster rolls were fan favorites, raw bar was a HIT! Beach ceremony was stunning (warning it’s not private), but our vendors were on point in ensuring that no one interrupted the ceremony (and cleared a couple people out). Overall, we only had one hiccup that I was not anticipating (and it was partially my fault for not asking the right questions during our tour)....but they did not offer a charger plate which ended up driving up my rental cost and in turn I decided to cut back on florals in order to stick to my budget. At the time, I was furious about the lack of a charger plate especially since, coming from California, almost every venue I have had events with in the past always offered a charger plate. I was surprised by this because at the caliber of a resort like OE, I just expected this to be an option, but overall was not a joy killer to our truly perfect day. OE excelled in every other way. The food was amazing (they have their tastings during the winter when most of their staff is not on, so the food was 1,000x better on the night of the wedding) and our guests were raving about the fantastic raw bar! Also, our wedding coordinator Ivy made our wedding night so special by setting up a beautifully decorated surprise candlelight dinner for us while our guests mingled during the cocktail hour--which was truly so special and a memory I will never forget. We did have a wedding planner, since we now live in California, so I cannot speak to how the process would be without a planner. I would not have changed a thing about our wedding venue. Cam and I truly had such a magical night! We definitely reccommend to all engaged couples to tour the venue! They will roll out the red carpet for you during your tour and the grounds are full of character which is ultimately how OE stole our hearts. Can't wait to revisit for an anniversary some day!

was the best. She answered all of our questions and was always so professional and helpful. Reading the reviews here, it is clear that Ivy has helped so many people in creating the most perfect day for their weddings, so we know she is a busy gal. However, she made us feel like my daughter's wedding was the only one on her agenda. That is the testament of a true professional! The cocktail hour on the Ocean Terrace was so great and we are so glad we opted of the seafood bar! The reception was fantastic - the food was great. More importantly, the level of service and professionalism from Ivy and her staff at every level was top notch. So many people told us the wedding was the best they have every been to - from the stunning grounds to the ceremony on the lawn and culminating in the ballroom - it was just the best. The brunch the following day was a nice cap to the entire weekend. We can't thank Ivy and her staff enough - they helped us create such wonderful memories for our daughter and son-in-law!

both the cocktail hour & dinner. When we were deciding on venues, a huge factor for us was that Ocean Edge works so closely with so many vendors. We lucked out with our entire vendor team as a whole but to make it better - Ivelina helped with every moment. The morning of, I didn't get a single phone call to meet a vendor or answer any questions as Ivelina was handling it all. We had such a stress free, fun, perfect wedding thanks to Ocean Edge. The welcome bonfire and bridal suite were added bonuses that I can't imagine not having as part of our wedding weekend! We can't wait to visit for anniversaries for years to come & hope we get to experience another wedding as a guest there in the future!

ents). Now to talk about day of. To say everyone we met treated us like the most important people in the world. The man who brought the bridesmaids breakfast, Ana, Tj and their team, went above and beyond what I could have ever imagined. Bringing food back to our hotel room. Making sure I had water to calm my nerves before the ceremony. Making sure I didn’t spill or even drip water on my dress. Above and beyond. Also to mention the joy this team of people had for us. This venue, this team made the most important day of our lives absolutely perfect. They left no box unchecked, and they worked around what we needed for photos and what our vendors needed. I can’t say enough good things about this team

d with the wedding and insisted on doing a lot of DIY type things myself and dropped the ball on certain things at the end. They stepped in and stepped up in such an amazing way. First of all upon arrival we had an adorable welcome congratulations set up in the room with some wine, fruit, a mini meat and nuts plate and some cheesecake. I finally felt like I was getting married and stopped stressing out. We had TJ and Ana helping us with everything wedding related. TJ was phenomenal, he ensured that anything that needed to be done was taken care of without me having to think of it. He also made sure that my husband and I always had a drink in hand. We did the rehearsal and Ana went over everything with us, she made sure we practiced, confirmed what we needed for reserved seats during the ceremony, and coordinated with us for any décor that we brought to the venue so I didn’t have to worry about it. We had our rehearsal dinner in Bayzo’s Pub and because we had a party of 17 they had two servers (Dimi and Anastash) attending to us and they did a great job with such a large group. There was live music which was a lovely addition to the ambiance. Come wedding day TJ was up and ready to make sure everything was in the bridal suite and we had Carolyn as our attendant for the morning, she was great, made sure I had some food in my belly before lunch so I could fight the nerves and slight hangover. Anything we needed she was there and ready to grab it. TJ was bouncing around between my bridal suite and the villa where the guys were getting ready and making sure we were all on task and had anything we needed. Ana was coordinating with all of my vendors day of so I did not have to track them down, to the point that when my maid of honor saw the flowers weren’t there yet at 2:00 she started to worry and Ana said she had already been in contact and expressed the urgency that they get to the venue ASAP. Between Ana, TJ and their team the Ballroom was set up exactly as I wanted and looked beautiful, they took care of things that, like I said I dropped the ball on, like printing my table numbers because I had forgotten, and printing a copy of the seating chart because mine got messed up in the chaos of the days leading to wedding. For the pictures the staff was amazing, TJ cleared the landing of the staircase for us so we could do a first look without strangers in the background, Carolyn even ushered guests to the elevator to not interrupt the photos but not leave them stranded. We were able to take photos in the pub before it opened. When my husband and I went outside for photos and were cutting it close to ceremony time one of the women at the front desk sprang into action and grabbed the ocean edge van to come pick us up from the front gate so I wouldn’t walk past the guests in the my dress. Two of the staff members even held my train as I walked out so that it would flow nicely once I got to the grass. The cocktail hour went off without a hitch, even though I was concerned we had to move it inside because it was too cold on the terrace it was actually a beautiful setup, especially the raw bar. On cue TJ made sure my husband and I had my preferred cocktails in hand at all times so I did not have to wait at any bar or have guests get me anything. One bartender, Uton, was also very attentive of my husband and made sure he had everything he needed all night. The reception was beautiful, the food was outstanding, and because the staff was so amazing I didn’t have to worry about anything and could focus on dancing with my guests. TJ and Ana coordinated with us pretty last minute (on our part not theirs) to have pizzas as a late night option for guests after the wedding, which were a huge hit. The next day we had friends stay and we played golf and that was lovely, TJ was again just up and waiting for us at the course (he was everywhere, it was impressive) to make sure we had everything we needed (including water and Powerade for the bride’s hangover). We stayed one extra night and had a beautiful lunch in the Roscommon Room with Carmetta and had the biggest lobster roll I’ve ever seen. Without the staff that weekend, mainly TJ and Ana I most certainly would have had five meltdowns and not enjoyed the wedding as much as I did. All of my guests gushed over how nice the venue was, how nice their rooms were and how good the food was.

e liked that we never had to worry about a rain plan (which, this summer was always on our minds!) because the Carriage House had space for the ceremony separate from the reception area too. We didn’t end up needing the rain plan thankfully! This venue is seriously stunning and will impress your guests. Our after party was held at the mansion outdoor bar. The shuttle was dedicated to us and our guests whenever we needed it. We never had a problem with transportation. We also had our rehearsal dinner on site and the room, staff, and food were excellent. After dinner we had a beach bonfire with s’mores for all guests as a welcome party. It was a beautiful and very fun night. Definitely a highlight of the weekend. However, sadly as a lot of reviews state, you MUST hire at least a day of coordinator. That’s what we did and we are so glad. Gillian was our original venue coordinator and she was amazing! From touring the venue to our food tasting - Gillian put us first and was so helpful to us. We loved working with her. The month before our wedding, she was promoted and we were switched over to Anna. This was unsettling to me as the month before the wedding is crunch time and we had already relayed so many details to Gillian. Thanks to our day of coordinator who started a month before the wedding, the transfer of information was OK. We did have an issue with the ceremony timing though and this made our guests have to wait outside in the heat for 30 minutes. The venue coordinator told me to put 3pm on my invites for the ceremony start knowing our ceremony was only 30 minutes. I figured cocktail hour at 4pm could be flexible then, but it wasn’t. Resulting in the wait time. Also, sadly Anna had a family emergency the week of the wedding so again we were passed off. This time to the sales director Gordon. He was horrible. When we went to check in on Friday, he didn’t help us get early check in. Our guests and wedding party had no problem getting early check in but the bride and groom did! He tried to make us cancel our welcome bonfire and thank god we didn’t because the weather was amazing. He was really pressuring us though. He showed face once the day of the wedding and did nothing helpful to my knowledge. My day of coordinator absolutely saved us. All in all, if you’re looking for a gorgeous venue at a reasonable price down the Cape. Go with Ocean Edge. Don’t be afraid to book here if you’re super crafty (we are) and if you can hire a wedding planner or day of coordinator. You won’t regret it! We had the most beautiful wedding!! The food was excellent too.
