My husband and I got married last weekend at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club and it was definitely the wedding of our dreams. The event coordinator Carrie was always quick to respond when we had questions during the planning process, and all of their staff went above and beyond our big day to make it run as smoothly as possible. We had numerous guests tell us the food was the best wedding food they had ever had! The bartenders and serving staff were so helpful and kind throughout the whole night. I couldn’t recommended this venue enough!

At Ocean Pines Yacht Club, the team is well-versed in hosting anything from ceremonies and receptions to vow renewals and a host of other special events. Couples can choose between three separate locations for their exchange of vows: the beach club, the golf club, or the yacht club. The latter is an ideal choice for weddings of all shapes and sizes, with plenty of space for 50 to 200 guests. Ceremonies can be held outside on the expansive outdoor patio, with the sparkling waters serving as a serene backdrop. Inside, the second-story ballroom offers an alternative space for ceremonies. This spacious area is ideal for receptions, where you and your guests can dine and dance the night away in a bright and breezy setting. Hardwood flooring and incredible views of the Ocean City skyline only add to its appeal, while a private bar can keep the party going throughout the festivities. Begin the day in the separate suites, where you and your wedding party can get pampered before the day ahead, and end the evening in one of several nearby hotels for a restful night’s sleep. There are several packages available to couples hosting their weddings at Ocean Pines Yacht Club. Setup and breakdown of up to 200 chairs for the ceremony are included, as is the use of the get-ready suite throughout the entire day and the use of the white lattice ceremony arch. The in-house culinary team offers a variety of full-service catering packages, allowing couples to design the wedding meal of their dreams, whether in a plated or buffet style. You and your guests will be treated to a delicious meal of anything from grilled filet mignon to honey soy glazed salmon or broiled crabcake on a bed of roasted corn remoulade. d to look at this place as a possible venue. The patio for the ceremony gave an amazing view of the marina as well as a little glimpse of the Ocean City, Maryland skyline. We were fortunate that it did not rain the day of our event, but the rain plan of having the ceremony in the reception space still gave the same view as the windows are floor to window. The event staff did an amazing job of coordinating guests to their seats, organizing the wedding party to walk, and made sure that guests did not see me as the bride until it was time to walk down the aisle. We absolutely loved the cocktail hour space and atmosphere since it gave the same views as the ceremony and guests were able to enjoy the live band performing below. We had opted for the buffet and we were thoroughly pleased with our choice. The food was delicious, abundant, and many of our guests have come to use to compliment it. The staff also did a great job of guiding people and making the line move efficiently for everyone to eat. It was a pleasure to work with the Executive Director of Events, Carrie Greenleaf, as she was flexible and very responsive in making sure our day turned into one that we would absolutely not forget!

The team did an incredible job accommodating our 190 guests, by setting up a beautiful ceremony on the patio by the bay, butlering champagne and hor d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, catering delicious plated meals in an elegant ballroom, and arranging the tables perfectly for a big dance floor for everyone to dance all night. The bar staff was also awesome and allowed us to have two signature cocktails. I can’t recommend this venue enough! It is the perfect combination of fun beachy vibes and elegant romance. You won’t be disappointed if you have your wedding here!

nue on the eastern shore with a great water view, but it is hard to find one that hits it out of the park for every other aspect. The food was beyond amazing. We have been getting compliments on it for months. One of our guests went to four weddings last year and the food at ours was their favorite. It was so delicious. The best part in my opinion of having our wedding at OPYC - was Lia the event coordinator along with all of her event staff. Lia was with us every step of the way, and she was truly amazing. She made sure every aspect of the day was perfect and the staff at OPYC was amazing through the entire evening. She answered every email and question I had no matter what it was. She made sure we had everything we wanted and needed for our day, and we can’t thank her enough. If you want to have the best stress free day- book here. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day if I tried - all thanks to OPYC and the fantastic staff!

inside into a beautiful ceremony and reception space. It wasn't what I envisioned, but it really was breathtaking. It is an incredible venue. Awesome views inside and outside. Perfect for a waterfront wedding with a safe backup plan, pending weather, any time of year! The food is INCREDIBLE....like best wedding food ever and so much of it! Our guests raved about it! My only complaint was the bar....we had several guests complain about the bartenders and their attitudes, which I didn't personally experience. I didn't want our guests to have to pay for anything, so we did the basic open bar package. However, the bar keeps ALL alcohol available so guests could upgrade their liquor at a cost. If guests were willing to pay for the upgrade, then I guess that's on them, but then it felt like we paid for nothing. I guess it's a catch 22: its nice that the alcohol was available for guests who wanted it, but at the same time, I kind of wish it wasn't. I wish the bar was only stocked with what we paid for in our package. But this is really my only complaint. The venue is perfect. The venue coordinators are ON IT and amazing. Food is the best ever. The location is very convenient for hotels and transportation.

They just make you feel welcome and give the best tips to make your day perfect. We can’t wait to buy a place in the community and go there all the time. The prices could not be beat, the food was fantastic (the chef even made some Cambodian apps for our heritage station), the orange and grapefruit crushes got everyone on the dance floor, and the band playing downstairs was an added bonus. 10/10 for the perfect day!! (Pro tip: Get the crab cake balls and the raw bar!)

y booked our wedding with this venue while we were still living on the west coast, which I like to highlight because it shows how amazing Angie and Lia's communication and helpfulness were from day 1. They are fantastic to work with, from beginning to end. Just like any bride, I had a million questions and both of them responded so quickly. Everything- from booking to tasting to the big day was handled with such professionalism, and Angie and Lia were also so fun to work with and so incredibly kind! As for the actual wedding day, oh my goodness, I could go on and on and on about how perfect it was. Everything went off without a hitch, the entire staff was incredible and everything was so organized. Our guests were incredibly impressed with everything about this venue, from the scenery to the amazing food and beverages to the incredible staff. I cannot recommend the Yacht Club enough!! nd Ocean City sky line are stunning and the overall venue is immaculate! There is a beautiful bridal/groom suite. If you're looking for a venue where everything is in one place, this is it! We were so happy our guests didn't have to travel to separate venues for the ceremony and reception. Everything is right there, you don't have to leave! All the tables, chairs, linens, china, ceremony chairs, and arbor are included in the price. It's pretty much all-inclusive! I would be remiss if I didn't mention the staff. Lia and her team are AMAZING. They are so organized, professional, and accommodating. We didn't have to worry about a single thing and they kept the timeline of the day moving. We got so many compliments on the hors d'oeuvres and dinner. We even had a soft pretzel bar as a late night snack! Everything you could ever want in a coastal wedding venue is right at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club. If I could give them 500 stars, I would! Thank you for EVERYTHING! However, it didn’t bother me because I trusted them 100% they’re season veterans. The bridal suite was great! Large enough for all 8 of my bridesmaids to get ready in. Even with my DJ running late they had everything under control. The set up was quick. Everything looked beautiful! We had the absolute BEST DAY EVER and could not thank the team at the club enough. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our food was amazing! We did buffet style and our guests LOVED being able to eat what they wanted. If you’re looking for a beach wedding this is seriously the next best thing. Our guests never knew the restaurant/venue even existed! They thought it was beautiful and want to go back just to have a meal or a drink. The bay is beautiful. Especially at sunset! I recommend taking day after photos on the beach! Lia is kind, friendly, knowledgeable and so easy to talk to! She is responsive and was very understanding during the pandemic with rescheduling! Lia gave all the facts and is very upfront with the prices and selections. She is above 5 stars! The catering by the Yacht Club was delicious. It was beautifully decorated and thankfully we didn’t even mind getting married inside because it looked so nice and elegant with the high ceilings and windows surrounding the entire room. The outdoor view was still great even with the weather. From the beginning of wedding planning Lia, the coordinator, was kind and incredibly helpful. All the other staff were also great and we had a server providing us with drinks and food while my bridesmaids and I got ready during the day in the bridal suite. guests hahaha! The yacht club is absolutely stunning and needs very little decor to make it shine. The staff is happy to help you with any of your needs. Unfortunately due to the weather we had to hold our wedding indoors. Sure it was not our original plan...but it worked out amazing. It was just as stunning as if we held the ceremony outside. The staff was so accommodating and even let our little dogs inside so they could be a part of the ceremony (it wouldn't have been the same without them). These lovely people were able to help transform my dream wedding vision into something that exceeded my expectations!! So if you are looking for a beautiful venue, on the water, AMAZING food, and attentive staff Ocean Pines Yacht Club is that place.

They made our day so stress free. Annelise was a saving grace in helping with the planning and making our dreams come true the day of our wedding. She was great at working with all of our other vendors and coordinating with them the day of the wedding. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the bride and groom suites were a huge plus! Our guests were very pleased with the food and atmosphere as well. The ease of having a beautiful venue, where your family and friends can attend the ceremony, and reception, all in one place, makes for fun filled, stress free memories. If you are looking to get married in Maryland, I highly recommend this venue!

background make for a picturesque setting. The options for food are almost endless. They have so much variety and will even allow you to customize your own menu. I was overall very happy with the quality and quantity of the food. However, the event coordinators there are NOT great. Expect a 2-3 week turnaround time for e-mails and phone calls to be answered. They had poor organization, and just bad communication all around. They also never gave us a finalized contract and ended up changing some pricing of things that were previously discussed in meetings. They somehow mixed up our bar package, and unfortunately some of our guests were actually charged for drinks when we payed for a premium open bar. We initially picked it thinking we would save some money as the venue fee was significantly cheaper than any of the other waterfront venues we looks at. However, dealing with the frustration and stress of working with the coordinators, I’m not sure was worth it. If you look here be sure you are willing to have patience and maybe consider get a wedding planner.

I can't recommend this venue enough!! We had our wedding in early October and it was just perfect (our unbelievable 72 degree weather definitely helped!). This is a venue with both...

indoor and outdoor space. The entire ballroom (reception area) has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the water and marina. The ceiling is high and the floors are a beautiful dark wood. Our ceremony was held outside on their lower patio, cocktail hour was on the top deck of the ballroom, and reception was inside both the ballroom and top deck. Brian and the staff of OP were great. Having great food was a huge thing for us and the head chef, Rob, cooked incredible food and really made us feel at ease during our tasting. The food turned out fantastic! Everyone at the venue was so sweet and worked so hard to make sure our day was perfect. The only thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant below the ballroom is OPEN during your wedding so you don't have the grounds completely to yourself. We never really noticed it...except for a few annoying "yachters" that started somewhat yelling/talking to each other on their boats during the ceremony on the patio (where the marina is the backdrop) but what are you going to do? We just laughed it off and moved on. So, if you are looking for a beautiful waterfront venue near Ocean City, MD with great views and a nice open space, this is your spot!

Originally we were supposed to get married outside on the patio, but the weather did not cooperate. Luckily, Brian had a rain plan, and our indoor wedding surpassed all of my expectations. The food was delicious! Our guests raved about the selections at the buffet. Several even went up for seconds and thirds! Overall, I would highly recommend the Yacht Club!

d a vision and my budget. He made suggestions for food choices, decor and vendors that would help me stay on budget and still have our dream wedding. He took all the stress of the planning away from me. I brought some of my own sentimental decor items and the team set everything up to surpass my vision. My bridesmaids and I opted to get dressed in the bridal suite, the staff was attentive bringing us food and drink. The ceremony site on the patio was beautiful. Our guests loved the view of watching us have our wedding pics taken while they sipped cocktails on the upstairs deck overlooking the marina. The wedding food was amazing (and we did not choose the top tier food choices)...all of our guests commented that they were very impressed with the selection and the quality of the appetizers and buffet. was very accomodating and helped us throughout the process. My only complaint was that the air conditioning wasn't as cold as you'd like it for a large group of people. I was very hot all night. We kept trying to make it colder, but nothing seemed to get better. My guests that were in strapless short dresses were even hot, so it wasn't just me. We only had about 90 people in there, so I don't know how the air would be like with more than that. The doors get opened at times when guests go outside to the deck, but it wasn't frequent enough to cause that much of a difference. Besides that though, everything was great!

hubby and I, and she made sure we had drinks food etc all night. The food was also fabulous, everyone commented on how yummy it was! If I could do it all over again, I'd go with OPYC all over again! they were great and made for a perfect, dream wedding day.
