From the very beginning, the communication from Justin at Ocean Tent Rentals was quick, detailed, and unmatched. This great communication is one of the main reasons we chose Ocean Tent Rentals over other companies. Not only that, but they had EVERYTHING we needed at very fair prices.
From them we rented our tent, lighting, dancefloor, tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glasses, and tableware. The most difficult part of the entire process was figuring out what we needed, but they were there to help the entire time. They were also quick to accommodate any changes we had just a few weeks before the wedding.
They delivered everything right on time a few days prior to the wedding. Their crew took great care in making sure the set up was exactly what we wanted and double-checked that we received everything we had ordered. After the wedding, the break-down and pack up went just as smoothly.
Overall, we were impressed by the quality of the rental items we ordered and the entire process could not have been smoother. If you are looking for a professional and detailed rental company with an expansive catalogue, I HIGHLY recommend Ocean Tent Rentals.

wedding. The entire process was efficient, professional, and we knew we were in good hands from the beginning. All of our guests agreed: The furniture, lighting, decorations, and more were gorgeous! Everything and anything we needed, they had it! They were able to get us an enormous 100' x 60' sailcloth tent, a 30' x 30' Cook's Tent for our off-premise caterer, a smaller tent with high tops for our Cocktail Hour, a beautiful "wood-look" hard floor for our guests to walk and dance on, fans and Portacools to keep our guests comfortable under the tent despite the intense heat, sidewalls at the ready in case of rain, and even a super quiet diesel generator for our DJ, onion lanterns, and bistro lighting. They took care of filing the tent permit with the town, worked seamlessly with our wedding planner Brielle (I Do Wedding & Event Planning, LLC) and our caterer (Falco's Catering), and did a site visit to ensure that they would carry out our vision just as we had planned. On the day of the wedding, we also had an Event Attendant who was able to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Ocean Tents was incredible and we highly recommend you reach out to them for your next tented event.

but also small things like seat cushions and wine glasses. For us it was so helpful to only deal with one vendor for all of these things, especially as we were the ones planning the wedding. Second, Ocean was great to work with. We started with a site visit where one of their team members came to our backyard and helped us determine exactly what size tent we would need and think through things like additional lighting. As we had more questions (do we need a tent floor? Do we need a dance floor?) I would call Ocean and always get very supportive and informed answers. I called them a lot and never once felt like I was a burden to them, even when I talked through various lighting schemes that we had no idea about whether they would work. I never felt like they were trying to upsell us on more items - I felt like they really just wanted us to get what was right for us. Taylor and her team treated us respectfully and we’re incredibly accommodating to our requests! A final note on customer service - the delivery team was also great. Really nice, really friendly and great to work with. Overall, we ended up with great furniture and rentals for our wedding! I would highly recommend you consider them for your event!

yard turning into a mud pit. Joe and his family were super communicative with us in the week leading up to the wedding and had great suggestions in order to keep the tent comfortable for everyone. We rented most of our supplies (plates, silverware, keg coolers, lighting, etc.) from Ocean Tents, and I was impressed that no one tried to up-sell us on anything and were always helped us find the practical options that we preferred. The set up and break-down crews were super efficient, courteous, and accommodating; we would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone!

Before the event, I reach out to discuss logistics with Ocean tents. Not only were they willing to listen and discuss the layout but they also were able to offer suggestions and insight into the power situation as they work at the venue we were using quite often.
The delivery team was also excellent to work with. As soon as they arrived, they noticed an extra noisy fan and worked to fix it immediately. When they couldn't fix it, they worked with the warehouse to send a replacement. They were proactive and made sure to hold up their end of the contract.

ry easy to work with, even after we had changed from us setting things up to having his crew do it. The men came 3 hrs early to set up, but contract and beach allow time with us wasn't until 1pm. They were very nice about coming back. It was a little out of our budget, but well worth it. Gave us more time to do other things. Can't thank them enough for helping us out and making our day less stressful.

e price by telling me that much of what I was quoted for was unnecessary, like paying almost $300 to have his guys set up the chairs. He also gave great advice, and gave a discount if I paid with cash. He treated me and my fiance like we were his family, and he kept saying he thought of us like his own kids. They are a super fair company, and everything was almost perfect on our wedding day, except that for some reason only half the amount of draping was delivered. Joe was apologetic though, and refunded me appropriately.

The drawing that was laid out was perfect and looked great.
The night before the wedding my husband and I stopped at Sandy Hook Chapel, to see the tent. Luckily we had done so, because we noticed that there was not enough tables! The drawing of the layout showed 15 tables, but the quote apparently only had 10 on it.
I was overwhelmed, but my husband called and explained that we needed more tables. They wouldn't bring the tables without immediate payment, but the tables were delivered before the wedding and it was sorted out. After the wedding I was told we were short about 25 napkins.

s prior to the wedding I decided to cancel since the forecast looked clear, plus I thought it would just be a blah tent. The owner, Joe Sr., actually contacted me later that day when the forecast started to turn and asked if I would reconsider. He was very thoughtful since he was familiar with the venue and didn’t want an unhappy bride with guests stuck inside because of the rain. He wasn’t pushy in any way and said it was ultimately my decision. Well I decided to go ahead with it and honestly can say it was one of the best decisions I made. The guests said it added that something special to an already beautiful venue. I wish I could post a picture.
