We hired Ocean Tents for our wedding at the Long Beach Island Foundation of Arts and Sciences. We had to bring in lots of supplies to create a DIY reception space, and Ocean Tents ...
was extremely easy to work with and highly professional. They provided everything we needed at fair prices and efficiently set everything up and broke it all down after the wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the space!
Ocean Tent brought in a kitchen tent w/ fridge, propane oven etc to my non-traditional venue so that my caterer, Foodwerx, could have hot/fresh food onsite for my wedding. They wor...
ked with my caterer, venue and the local township to ensure that everything worked out great, and their team was easy to work with on the billing end.
My husband and I decided very early into our engagement that we wanted a backyard wedding. My family had the perfect yard, but we needed to find a quality rental company to provide...
us with pretty much everything else. We reached out to several rental companies to compare prices, check availability, and ask about a million questions. From the very beginning, the communication from Justin at Ocean Tent Rentals was quick, detailed, and unmatched. This great communication is one of the main reasons we chose Ocean Tent Rentals over other companies. Not only that, but they had EVERYTHING we needed at very fair prices.
From them we rented our tent, lighting, dancefloor, tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glasses, and tableware. The most difficult part of the entire process was figuring out what we needed, but they were there to help the entire time. They were also quick to accommodate any changes we had just a few weeks before the wedding.
They delivered everything right on time a few days prior to the wedding. Their crew took great care in making sure the set up was exactly what we wanted and double-checked that we received everything we had ordered. After the wedding, the break-down and pack up went just as smoothly.
Overall, we were impressed by the quality of the rental items we ordered and the entire process could not have been smoother. If you are looking for a professional and detailed rental company with an expansive catalogue, I HIGHLY recommend Ocean Tent Rentals.
Ocean Tents put together a BEAUTIFUL reception for our tented wedding! The best ever!
Once we pinned down our location, Ocean Tents was the first vendor we secured for our tented ...
wedding. The entire process was efficient, professional, and we knew we were in good hands from the beginning. All of our guests agreed: The furniture, lighting, decorations, and more were gorgeous! Everything and anything we needed, they had it! They were able to get us an enormous 100' x 60' sailcloth tent, a 30' x 30' Cook's Tent for our off-premise caterer, a smaller tent with high tops for our Cocktail Hour, a beautiful "wood-look" hard floor for our guests to walk and dance on, fans and Portacools to keep our guests comfortable under the tent despite the intense heat, sidewalls at the ready in case of rain, and even a super quiet diesel generator for our DJ, onion lanterns, and bistro lighting. They took care of filing the tent permit with the town, worked seamlessly with our wedding planner Brielle (I Do Wedding & Event Planning, LLC) and our caterer (Falco's Catering), and did a site visit to ensure that they would carry out our vision just as we had planned. On the day of the wedding, we also had an Event Attendant who was able to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Ocean Tents was incredible and we highly recommend you reach out to them for your next tented event.
Hired ocean tents for my backyard wedding and they were absolutely incredible! The planning process was so easy, and everyone was very responsive and helpful. The company had every...
thing I needed to host ~130 people, including a super nice, clean bathroom trailer. The crew that assembled and disassembled everything were such hard workers, and they were able to execute our vision perfectly. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.
My wife and I are so glad we went with Ocean Tents for our small backyard wedding. First, Ocean has everything you need to set up your event from big things like tents and lights, ...
but also small things like seat cushions and wine glasses. For us it was so helpful to only deal with one vendor for all of these things, especially as we were the ones planning the wedding. Second, Ocean was great to work with. We started with a site visit where one of their team members came to our backyard and helped us determine exactly what size tent we would need and think through things like additional lighting. As we had more questions (do we need a tent floor? Do we need a dance floor?) I would call Ocean and always get very supportive and informed answers. I called them a lot and never once felt like I was a burden to them, even when I talked through various lighting schemes that we had no idea about whether they would work. I never felt like they were trying to upsell us on more items - I felt like they really just wanted us to get what was right for us. Taylor and her team treated us respectfully and we’re incredibly accommodating to our requests! A final note on customer service - the delivery team was also great. Really nice, really friendly and great to work with. Overall, we ended up with great furniture and rentals for our wedding! I would highly recommend you consider them for your event!
We decided to move our wedding outside due to Covid and we rented a tent, tables, chairs and a bar from ocean tents. They were reasonably priced and super responsive! Everything wa...
s beautiful and truly perfect. Not one bad thing to say!!
Ocean Tents was the exclusive tent provider for our venue, so we had no choice. Communication was difficult and we were misinformed both via email and on the phone. In the end, the...
y tried to add obscure charges to our bill, and shorted us strung lighting that was paid for. We were extremely disappointed, especially when the venue also voiced frustration. Do your research and find a more professional company.
We rented a sailcloth tent, tables, chairs, linens, a wine barrel bar and other items for our wedding. Everything looked beautiful, exactly as we had hoped. The tent was new, the...
bar was fantastic, even the men who were there setting everything up were helpful and friendly. Nick at Ocean Tents was very easy to work with and Taylor helped us with some very last minute add-ons with no problem. We would definitely recommend Ocean Tents!

wered any questions we had along the way. They are professional and their supplies are high-quality. Will be using again in the future!

budget and on time for us to make the best decision for our event. She also explained the policies clearly regarding the tent rental for our event. We were very pleased with the results and I would highly recommend Ocean Tents and Taylor for tent needs.
Ocean Tents were great!!! I rented my tent, high top tables with linens, dance floor, and bistro lighting through them. I upgraded the pole to wooden which I am sooo happy I did. T...
he company and staff were great. The set up and removal was easy. They have great customer service and come out to your venue and go over everything you will need, also provide pictures!!! Everyone at the wedding could not stop talking about the tent and the set up. We will be using Ocean tents for all over future events/parties now!!! thank you again.
The tent was perfect. They decorated it great. Taylor was great to work with
I cannot say enough great things about Joe and his team at Ocean Tents! Our 9/15/18 wedding came after two solid weeks of rain on Long Beach Island and we were concerned about the ...
yard turning into a mud pit. Joe and his family were super communicative with us in the week leading up to the wedding and had great suggestions in order to keep the tent comfortable for everyone. We rented most of our supplies (plates, silverware, keg coolers, lighting, etc.) from Ocean Tents, and I was impressed that no one tried to up-sell us on anything and were always helped us find the practical options that we preferred. The set up and break-down crews were super efficient, courteous, and accommodating; we would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone!
As a wedding planner at an outdoor, tented wedding, rentals were my number 1 concern for the event. My bride and groom had rented a tent, fans, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens,...
chandeliers, string lighting, high top tables, and a helium tank (lots of rentals, you can see).
Before the event, I reach out to discuss logistics with Ocean tents. Not only were they willing to listen and discuss the layout but they also were able to offer suggestions and insight into the power situation as they work at the venue we were using quite often.
The delivery team was also excellent to work with. As soon as they arrived, they noticed an extra noisy fan and worked to fix it immediately. When they couldn't fix it, they worked with the warehouse to send a replacement. They were proactive and made sure to hold up their end of the contract.
I would HIGHLY recommend Ocean Tents in the future! Thanks for making my job a breeze!
Our venue manager Letty referred us to Joe, the owner. He was very helpful in us making decisions on what we might need for our wedding on the beach and at our reception. He was ve...
ry easy to work with, even after we had changed from us setting things up to having his crew do it. The men came 3 hrs early to set up, but contract and beach allow time with us wasn't until 1pm. They were very nice about coming back. It was a little out of our budget, but well worth it. Gave us more time to do other things. Can't thank them enough for helping us out and making our day less stressful.
Our tent from Ocean Tents was absolutely beautiful - it was a large frame tent that had clear siding, and they strung lights up along the top. It was romantic, simple, and unique....
Taylor was fantastically responsive, and I had a seamless experience with Ocean Tents.
Ocean Tents are a great rental company. I first met with the owner Joe at my wedding venue months before the wedding, and although I had a quote already, he helped me knock down th...
e price by telling me that much of what I was quoted for was unnecessary, like paying almost $300 to have his guys set up the chairs. He also gave great advice, and gave a discount if I paid with cash. He treated me and my fiance like we were his family, and he kept saying he thought of us like his own kids. They are a super fair company, and everything was almost perfect on our wedding day, except that for some reason only half the amount of draping was delivered. Joe was apologetic though, and refunded me appropriately.
Ocean tents helped make my backyard wedding absolutely gorgeous! The team they sent to set up was always professional and they managed to get a third tent last minute that matched ...
my other two tents! The team also provided tables, chairs, beautiful lighting, and a trailer men's and women's bathroom. They came the next morning for clean up. I would definitely hire them for all future events!!
We used Ocean Tents for a majority of our rentals for our wedding and we were very happy with working with them!

hrough all of the items that I would need for our wedding which was amazing because it was all too overwhelming for me at the time!
We ended up renting the tent, tables, chairs, plates, silverware, glasses, and linens.
The drawing that was laid out was perfect and looked great.
The night before the wedding my husband and I stopped at Sandy Hook Chapel, to see the tent. Luckily we had done so, because we noticed that there was not enough tables! The drawing of the layout showed 15 tables, but the quote apparently only had 10 on it.
I was overwhelmed, but my husband called and explained that we needed more tables. They wouldn't bring the tables without immediate payment, but the tables were delivered before the wedding and it was sorted out. After the wedding I was told we were short about 25 napkins.
Overall, very easy to work with and very responsive.
Ocean Tents supplied us with string cafe lights, peach napkins, and burlap table runners for our wedding. They were very easy to work with. I made changes to our purchase order se...
veral times and each time they emailed me an updated invoice. Setup was quick and without complication and they promptly picked up all of their supplies the day after the wedding. We were very happy with their service.
I used Ocean for my tent wedding, that was on location behind a local restaurant that had never hosted an event before. Ocean provided everything I needed and the restaurant to tur...
n the backyard into an amazingly beautiful and serene wedding location for us! The look and vibe was rustic country, essentially a barn wedding inside a tent. It was perfect. Ocean only uses quality products, lots of options, and the tent went up 4 days after hurricane sandy, they know their business and how to make brides happy!!
we used ocean tents & rentals for probably more than i even realized for the wedding. most importantly, we used chairs for the ceremony. we were able to pick up the chairs the ...
day before and drop them off the day after with no extra charge, a huge convenience when you're setting things up yourselves & have to get ready for the wedding as well as party at the reception. highly recommended!
I want to start by saying I LOVED MY TENT!!! Initially we booked the tent in case of rain since the ceremony, cocktail hour & dancing were in the garden of our venue. Three day...
s prior to the wedding I decided to cancel since the forecast looked clear, plus I thought it would just be a blah tent. The owner, Joe Sr., actually contacted me later that day when the forecast started to turn and asked if I would reconsider. He was very thoughtful since he was familiar with the venue and didn’t want an unhappy bride with guests stuck inside because of the rain. He wasn’t pushy in any way and said it was ultimately my decision. Well I decided to go ahead with it and honestly can say it was one of the best decisions I made. The guests said it added that something special to an already beautiful venue. I wish I could post a picture.
