Bob and his assistant were absolutely amazing. They stayed until late in the night. The photos were perfect!

Bob was absolutely wonderful to work with. He's very personable and wants to try and get to know the bride and groom and cater to your style. As a bride without much knowledge about the photography business and what "shots" I wanted, he knew how to capture it all and his suggestions were great. Overall, I was well pleased with the selection of proofs from the bridal portraits as well as the wedding day. He has a great demeanor and sense of humor that kept everyone light, yet also exerted initiative to keep things moving when taking group shots. With all the stress that can come with the wedding day, I knew that I didn't have to worry about the photographer (being on time, getting the right shots, etc) which was a huge relief! I really liked that on the day of the wedding he took photos that told a story rather than still, posed pictures. The classic wedding photos of course were posed, but I loved the way he captured, smiles and body language, etc. when you weren't looking. While the price was a bit out of our range, we understand why now (such great shots!) and realize that splurging on a photographer was totally worth it. I would definitely recommend Ocken Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, I now understand why some call him "one of the best in the business."

Bob drove out of state for my wedding in April. He was extremely flexible, meeting us for hair at one location, makeup in another, and the wedding at a third! He is easy to work with, very nice with a great sense of humor, and professional. He fit in perfectly with our guests, and by the end of the night they were commenting on how great a guy he is! He was even heard giving some pointers to a friend of mine from school who recently started doing amateur videography work at weddings. Not to mention his photographs are amazing! I would pick Bob again and again!

My main goal for our wedding, and the planning, was to not be completely stressed out and Bob Ocken helped so much in helping me accomplish that. I was very nervous about taking our engagement photos and my bridals but he made it easy, natural, and a lot of fun. The day of the wedding he got some amazing photos that weren't posed or awkward in any way and was also open to ideas from my bridesmaids. He was always available (phone, email, or in person) to answer my questions and took care of the details like sending in my bridal photo to the paper, which turned out amazing. He was more expensive that some of the other photographers that we looked but we also bought the largest package and will end up with all of our photos plus a 20 page memory album. It was well worth the money! Not to mention he is just a cool guy who acts more like a family friend taking amazing photos than a hired photographer. I would recommend him to any couple getting married!!

We used Ocken Photography for our engagement photos, and would have for our wedding had it not been a destination wedding. We had such a great time working with Bob Ocken; even in 100+ heat our pictures were beautiful and the photo shoot on the riverfront a lot of fun. Our pictures were edited and ready very quickly which was important to us! The value was amazing for the beauty of the photography.

For my myself and my husband, photography was at the top of the list of importance - everyone told us how quickly the day would pass (and it passed even faster than we predicted!) and we wanted photos to help us relive the moments... and we are so grateful we had the Ocken Photography team capture them! I can't explain the gift it was to see the photos for the first time, and the gift it continues to be to look through them again or see them displayed in our home. I cannot recommend them enough - OP CAPTURED the moments, the emotion. There is nothing generic about this team or their images! They caught emotions and moments that passed so quickly I couldn't grasp - both between my husband and I, as well as our families and those celebrating the day with us. They are worth every penny... And they are FUN to top it off! Now that we just had our first child, I can see all the more how important it is to have images to share with him and his siblings one day :) You seriously will be SO grateful for your experience with OP!
