Owner Omezie "DJ Ocross" Omeokwe specializes in various music, including Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, R&B, Soca, and Pop. With extensive experience serving celebrity and private events across New York City, this talented DJ promises to deliver an unforgettable night for your momentous occasion.
Omezie began his disc jockey career over ten years ago, hosting his own radio show. A first-generation Nigerian-American, this New York native brings a diverse touch to his entertainment services. At the heart of Ocross Productions, LLC is a passion for music and an impressive wealth of knowledge to please all movers and shakers.
Ocross Productions, LLC provides entirely bespoke wedding packages inspired by each wedding size and style. I’m Omezie “DJ Ocross” Omeokwe, founder of Ocross Productions. I’m a first-generation Nigerian American, a Bronx native, and a proud brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. My journey started over a decade ago at Purchase College, where I hosted my own radio show on WPSR. That student DJ booth lit the spark, and I’ve been creating unforgettable moments ever since. From elegant ceremonies to high-energy receptions, I bring a full-service approach rooted in culture, connection, and craft. I’ve DJ’d all kinds of events across New York City including private parties, corporate events, and celebrity gatherings, but weddings are where my passion really shines. At Ocross Productions, we don’t do cookie-cutter playlists or generic setups. We take the time to understand your vision, your vibe, and the small details that make your day truly yours. With a passion for captivating beats and an innate ability to read the crowd, DJ Somto has quickly made a name for themselves as a sought-after DJ in the local scene. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, DJ Somto seamlessly blends elements of Afrobeats, Dancehall, Reggae, Highlife, Hip-Hop, and more to create an electrifying and unforgettable experience on the dance floor. His sets are known for their infectious energy, infectious grooves, and seamless transitions that keep the crowd moving from start to finish. Having spent countless hours honing his craft, DJ Somto possesses a deep understanding of music production and DJ techniques.
- DJ DonDJ/MCDJ Don aka “The Refix King” is a Nigerian-American Self Taught Dj born and raised in New York. He started Djing in 2014 and has had the opportunity to work with many Afrobeat artists such as Afro B, Burna Boy, Eddy Kenzo, Teemanay, Young Paris and more. Dj Don is best known for his seamless transitions when mixing between different songs/genres. His style of music is Afrobeats, Pop, Reggae, Soca, Hip Hop, House, and more. He was awarded “Cultural Ambassador’ by the West Indian American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA) to acknowledge his impact on the music culture in New York. DJ Don has played in Dubai, The Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic. He has played at One Africa Music Festival for a crowd of 20,000 people. DJ Don is currently working on honing his producing skills and looking to make music of his own.
- DJByRandyDJ/MCAs a child, Randy always surrounded himself with music which became his creative output since the age of 12. He picked up songwriting, composition, producing music but he got into DJing at the age of 19 through his best friend. Throughout the 10 years of DJing, he developed himself into a crossover DJ playing all genres, specifically: hip-hop, R&B. Dancehall. Soca, Afrobeats, Amapiano, House and Pop, he sets to create a unique musical experience for all to dance! His main goal for DJing? To make everyone dance and just be in the vibrational moment! “My passion in life is to provide happiness to everyone. I enjoy entertaining and music is my God-given gift to entertain the world. As one I see one person smile when I’m providing the vibes, I did my job.”
- Selector XDJ/MCSelector X, from Trinidad and Tobago, discovered his passion for DJing by combining his love for music and entertaining people. Self-taught through observing and replicating other DJs, he developed a unique style and energetic performance. Selector X recently opened for a 4th of July event at Coney Island Art Walls, sharing the stage with artists like 41 (Kyle Richh, Tata, Jenn Carter) and Cash Cobain. He has also performed alongside prominent Brooklyn DJs, such as BYFARMega and DJ Lady Drea. Drawing inspiration from renowned DJs like Puffy and Kevin Crown, Selector X aims to become an international touring DJ, sharing his talent and energy worldwide. His versatility in mixing multiple genres, particularly Caribbean music, and his ability to engage and energize crowds set him apart. His ultimate goals include performing at major events, building a strong following, and eventually starting his own sound system.
