We had our ceremony & reception at the off shore and Sadie, the event coordinator was incredible to work with! Our day was perfect & the staff worked so hard to get the food our fa...
st & hot! Sadie helped with all the details leading up to the day & even helped make sure my train was ready to walk down the isle and offered to watch our 2 year old son during the ceremony. The venue space is gorgeous & has everything you need. Hotel, conference room to get ready, ceremony space, & even camping spots! They even brought us mimosa's while we were getting ready & we had a bag full of snacks/drinks and a handwritten note from the team at the off shore. All the appetizers & meals were great! Highly recommend having your wedding day here!
Sadie and her team were incredible to work with. They made the process very seamless for my husband and I. They were very professional and easy to contact at anytime!
Perfect spot to have our wedding- professional, prompt responses, excellent choices of food and very flexible! If we had to do it all over again there’s no question we’d code offsh...

We had a wonderful experience using Offshore Resort for our wedding ceremony and reception! Sadie, the event space coordinator, was truly amazing!
Off shore was wonderful to work with all around. The event space is absolutely gorgeous and staff were very friendly. The food was also a HUGE hit. Everything was served hot and fr...
esh. Sadie the event coordinator was very responsive and helpful throughout our entire wedding process. She answered every question we had and if she didnt know the answer, she was quick to find us one. I appreciated the small details like leaving us a little wedding gift in our hotel room and serving mimosas for the girls when we got ready. There were two weddings book on our weekend (one friday and one Saturday) and Heather at the front desk was so kind and had a friendly face as we checked in or bothered her for extra room keys. (I think I lost about 4). All the off shore staff handled what I assume was a busy weekend for all very well, and as the bride it was wonderful to not have to worry. I did not catch the names of the bartenders that helped us, but they were SO kind and not only had a friendly and positive attitude the entire time, they were also entertaining and welcoming. Overall, it was a pleasure to have Off Shore resort host my big day.
Prior to getting married, my now husband and I went to stay at the Off Shore Resort last summer and fell in love! I have no words to describe how amazing this venue is! Sadie was a...
n absolute dream to work with! She ensured every question I had was asked! I got so many compliments during my wedding day on how amazing the venue was! The views are also breathtaking.
I loved how everything was at one spot for my wedding guests so they didn’t have to worry about transportation to and from the ceremony/reception. My husband and I will definitely be back in the summer for a little getaway.
A perfect spot.
You can't beat the view and the convenience of having everything in one location. Carol was great to work with and kept things on track on our wedding day.
The Shore is an amazing value for the location, view, attached hotel, and so much more. We had our wedding September 1st, and everything went off without a hitch. They let us come ...
in days before to decorate and take as much time as we needed tearing down. I probably had over 200 candles that needed to be lit the day of and they made sure every one was lit. The staff did so much more than I could have asked for. Carol, Olivia, Paige, and Les went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. They offered advice that really made everything go smoothly. After our reception was over we even had the option to continue the party over at the bar. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and wish I could do it all over. I had between 400 and 500 guests and we used the inside space, front patio, and side patio with a 20x30 ft tent set up which really gave it the rustic yet fancy style we were looking for.
In small town Jackson County, IA, you can't find a reception hall with a view or convenience like The Shore Event Centre! Especially the huge patio overlooking the river. We wish ...
it could hold more people and that it had a kitchen for the caterers though!
We got married on the balacony overlooking the Mississippi River and it was absolutely beautiful. Nice thing was that if it would have been bad weather we had an easy backup option...
for having the ceremong inside. And we had some great photo ops on the beach as well. Great service and beautiful spot!
