Officiant Carmen George

Carmen, again, was perfect. I was able to meet Carmen a couple years prior for a friend's wedding. So when I got engaged, I immediately knew I wanted to go with her. I was so excited when she said that she was available for my wedding date. Carmen was very quick to respond to my emails, and texts, and was always respectful and polite. She was willing to do whatever we asked, and was happy to offer ideas when we asked. We signed our legal paperwork before our ceremony day, and she was gracious enough to invite us to her home and do everything there. Afterwards she even offered to take pictures! She was excited for and with us, and we were so so happy to have her involved. If she is available, book her!

Carmen far exceeded our expectations as both an officiant and photographer. Her attention to detail is impeccable as is her ability to assess our vibe as a couple. Carmen selected the perfect poem to read at our wedding and included our small group of guests and family in the ceremony in a meaningful manner. The photographs are terrific. She captured emotion and the beauty of the venue. I highly recommend Carmen.

Carmen was the perfect fit to officiate our wedding! She put us at ease and made us feel so comfortable. She truly makes you feel so special as a couple during the ceremony and in communications leading up. She was quick to respond and help in any way possible. Her added knowledge of florals and photography was extremely helpful, especially during our rehearsal. She gave so many tips and tricks and made sure everyone felt confident for the wedding day. She added little personal touches into the ceremony that she had learned during our several conversations leading up to the big day. She included all the guests in the ceremony and guided us through a beautiful ceremony. We highly recommend her and know she will make your ceremony memorable and perfect!

Carmen was wonderful to work with! We chose Carmen specifically because of her all encompassing view on love. She is warm and easy going and lights up in the presence of love. She worked with us to make sure everyone was comfortable during current COVID concerns. Carmen officiated/photographed a small family wedding for my husband and I over the weekend and we could not have been more pleased with her. Vermont was having record breaking heat (along with most of the country) and we wanted to have our ceremony outside overlooking the mountains and Carmen braved the heat and all the mountain bugs that were around the property as we took pictures. The air bnb we rented didn't have air either so no break from the heat there. Despite all of this Carmen had a great attitude, and was very personable and professional. We are very impressed with the photos she took, that she got to us by midnight on the day of the ceremony! We, along with our families, would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in the area.

Carmen was an amazing officiant and photographer! Our wedding was very short notice, only a few weeks; she went out of her way to ensure that we all had all the information needed to make this a really special day. We loved the ceremony and the pictures!

Carmen performed our wedding ceremony this past December in Vermont, and it was the most personalized and unforgettable experience! Our guests were so impressed. Carmen is an expert in performing wedding ceremonies in Vermont, and she made the process enjoyable and easy. We planned our entire ceremony in an hour over the phone with Carmen, and felt completely at ease working with her. She even provided us with advice that helped us stay fully present though our entire day! We were lucky enough to have Carmen as our wedding officiant. We wanted to make sure that our ceremony included certain things, and she was very flexible. She has a lot of experience as an officiant, and provided us with a lot of great ideas including some we weren't aware of. She was also a delight to work with throughout the process. On the day, she was professional, and officiated the ceremony in a way that was very touching to our guests. We really appreciated how smooth and stress-free Carmen made planning the ceremony, we were planning our wedding from out of state and had lots of other things to coordinate. Thank you Carmen!

Carmen was the BEST! Made our surprise renewal very special. Helped me with a last minute date change. Had a poem to read that my wife loved. She makes it personal, felt like we new her for years in 5 minutes! You cannot do better than Carmen!

I've photographed a few weddings with Carmen as the officiant and she is just fabulous. She is conscientious of the needs of the client, photographers, and videographers. For example, she steps out of the way when the couple kisses after the ceremony, so that she isn't in the shot-- it seems obvious, but it's just one example of the ways Carmen officiates thoughtfully. She has a soothing tone of voice (seriously, if Carmen had a podcast I would listen to it) and she is funny, but not in a distracting way. She allows the couple to be themselves up at the altar, and she moves the ceremony along. She is great about communication as well. I would be thrilled to work with Carmen again.

Absolutely outstanding! Carmen is meant to do this, it is her calling. Her bubbly, optimistic but focused personality kept my husband and I calm, cool and collected on wedding day. This mix of personalities gives her the ability to get your wedding party and guests organized so you can get the pictures you are so hoping for. We were then pleasantly surprised to have all of our pictures back within just TWO days. She arranged a beautiful bouquet for me, customized to my request. She also provided a bucket of colorful flowers picked fresh from her garden. All of which went together wonderfully.

Carmen was absolutely amazing. My husband and I planned a surprise wedding in Saranac NY for a very small and intimate crowd. Officiant service- Carmen ability to convey warmth and a calming atmosphere during the ceremony was top notch. Not only was she was incredibly professional, she also performed the service almost immediately following a two hour drive to the location. She was incredibly flexible and able to handle a last minute change to the ceremony with no problem. Photography service- The week before the wedding, I spoke to Carmen in regard to some ideas I had in mind for photos. I gave her specific poses and framing styles that I was interested in. Carmen made sure that all of my requests were satisfied day of wedding, as well as adding her own suggestions. The photos came out amazing, and we had several favorite shots to choose from. She made sure to capture every detail. Floral service- While this was not something that I felt we needed, my husband decided I should have at least a bouquet after Carmen suggested the idea. Not only was the bouquet beautiful, but Carmen made sure to choose colors that coordinated with our outfits. I truly feel that our wedding pictures would have been missing an important element without this detail. In short, Carmen is a delight to work with. I can’t even think of what my wedding would have been like had we chose someone else. You can see how much she loves her work in the quality of her products and smile on her face. If you are looking for someone that will make your day unforgettable, call Carmen. I’m so glad we did!

I can't say enough good things about Carmen. She is incredible! I feel so lucky we found her. She officiated our 50 person wedding at my parents house by the lake. She answered all our questions, gave wonderful suggestions and pointed out things we would have completely missed. She did my flowers too. They were gorgeous! Carmen you made our wedding day perfect! Carmen did our florals and decor for our wedding at the Hotel Vermont - she is a woman of many talents! Her vision and creativity truly brought the space to life. From our fist discussion she totally "got" the look we were going for. I loved all of her suggestions and felt we were in great hands. Plus, she has such a calming and beautiful spirit - I see how she would be a great JP. And my favorite part? She facilitated the donation of our florals to a wonderful local charity (SafeSpace). Carmen was the one vendor I didn't have to worry about. She took great care of us. She was responsive, organized and easy going. She walked us step by step through everything we needed to know about the ceremony. She answered every question we had and provide wonderful examples from her years of experience. She has some sweet stories. We had crazy horrible weather the day of our wedding. She made it through the snow storm and arrived with a smile. Our wedding ceremony was lovely. I honestly could not have asked for a better person to officiate our special day.

Carmen was a lovely and amazing presence at our wedding! She was our officiant, but she really offered us way more than just a ceremony. She was thoughtful, kind, engaged and totally committed to making the day a special one for us, which we appreciated even more since it was an elopement (we didn't have family close by). She was very efficient in communicating with us before the ceremony, and accomodated us for a last-minute date. The day of, she arrived early and was so, so helpful! Anything we needed she anticipated before we even knew we needed it. She truly went above and beyond for us. We had a chance to get to know each other a bit as we drove to the ceremony site, and Carmen has a lovely personality in addition to being a wonderful officiant. It really felt like our friend marrying us more than an officiant, which is just what we wanted. I'd highly recommend Carmen as an officiant!
