We absolutely loved our experience with Dr. Officiant Doug!!! He was so personable and very responsive in text and email! Could not have asked for a better officiant!
He asked each of us 5 questions: what our first impressions were of each other, our first date, the proposal, what we love about each other and why we wanted to get married to each other. He had included just about everything in our ceremony which is exactly what we had talked about and even more. The entire ceremony was so personalized that our guests thought that we had known him forever! He had the entire audience engaged from start to finish.

We booked Doug based on all the other reviews that we had seen on here. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience. I am not one to be picky or write bad reviews EVER, but I don't want this to happen to someone else. He sends you some 'story forms' to fill out where you write all about your partner, your relationship, stories, etc. and send it to him and this is what he uses to write the ceremony readings. We did this and made sure everything looked correct (and have double checked since), but he must use some copy and paste template because what he read at the ceremony was only half correct. He called me by the wrong name 3 different times in the ceremony and had multiple stories about dates and activities we had never done (including a crazy hot air balloon ride that caught everyone's attention to know this was wrong). It was so bad that I almost stopped him in the middle of the ceremony to ask if he had the wrong story. I'm glad I didn't though because I don't think he would've known what was correct and what wasn't and wouldn't have been prepared, so better to just finish the ceremony and talk about it after. My whole family was asking about it afterwards. Again, my husband and me are very easy going people and can laugh things off, but this is his ONE job. Never got an apology either.

Officiant Doug is the best man for the job! He made us feel so comfortable during our initial meeting and the days leading up to the wedding he was such a pleasure. The day of our wedding we were thrilled at his delivery. Doug is truly such a wonderful officiant - I can’t imagine being married by anyone else.

Doug is the best! 10/10 would recommend him! We were nervous to hire an officiant that we had never met before for our wedding ceremony, but was amazed with officiant Doug. He was on time, had a digital copy of our ceremony script already loaded, and was HILARIOUS! Everyone loved him and he made the ceremony that much better! Couldn’t ask for better!

We loved having Doug officiate our wedding, he made our ceremony wonderful. When we first booked him, he helped us make a ceremony perfect for us and our story. He was so easy to work with and kept us relaxed and ready right up to the point where he walked out to start our ceremony. Doug's delivery was PERFECT, even when a bunch of fire trucks went by for a few minutes! We'd absolutely recommend him. Thank you so much Doug!!

Doug was the best. He was our first vendor we hired and he was great from the beginning! We wanted an officiant who was fun and outgoing and who would match our energy and Doug did that! He was very quick in responding and he was quick to switch our last minute vow request!

Doug made our ceremony everything we wanted and more. He made it personable, entertaining and really told our story in the best way possible. We booked Doug online, filled out questionnaires about our story, and then had a FaceTime call with him to talk about any questions we had about the day of. He was willing to attend our rehearsal to calm any nerves and was great during the ceremony. I mean seriously, he had people crying, laughing and he never even studdered. Couldn't have done our day without you Doug!

I could not describe how enjoyable Doug made our wedding experience. He was professional, flexible, and accommodating! Did I say accommodating... we had scheduled our wedding on a Wednesday. Little did we know a hurricane was scheduled to hit. He rescheduled us without a flinch, when I know he could have easily said no. Loved the flexibility of creating our own ceremony that fit US perfectly. Doug was also respectful of COVID and is willing to accommodate to any concerns. Highly recommend!! 5 stars!

If you're looking for a fantastic wedding officiant, look no further! Doug did such an incredible job officiating our wedding ceremony, and our guests are still talking about how great he was!
My husband and I wanted our ceremony to reflect our personalities with a mixture of humor, sarcasm, and sentimental tidbits. Doug delivered all we could have hoped for and more! A few weeks before the ceremony, Doug asked us and some of our closest friends to complete a questionnaire about our relationship. He took the information from the questionnaires to create a beautiful, unique, and personal ceremony. Throughout the 30 minute ceremony, Doug managed to make us all laugh, cry, and laugh some more...it was truly perfect!
I would strongly recommend Doug to any couple looking for a ceremony to remember!

Doug was the perfect officiant! He was everything we were looking for and exactly who we pictured to marry us! He blended humor and serious commitment together seamlessly and truly represented our love. Doug worked with us to include a couple of requested poems and it was honestly beautiful and perfect. Officiant Doug is the epitome of compassion, love, dedication. Doug ensured our wedding day was phenomenonal. And it was. The moment we saw him, he was part of our new established family. He customized our vows to fit us perfectly. His devotion to our ceremony was evident. It was as important to him as it was to us. It was a very small ceremony. Just the two of us and Doug. The ceremony was at 6pm & he stayed for cake & champagne til 9pm! You can spend hours reviewing other officiants, but you'd be wasting your time. Doug is family now. I cannot imagine my wedding day without Officiant Doug standing in front of us joining our love together. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you Doug!

Who do you call when your expensive coordinator forgets to hire and officiant 30 minutes before your wedding ?? :/ We found Doug. We was available in a hurry and arrived with the best attitude. He immediately put us at ease and performed a beautiful ceremony. He even made sure to include a special passage we had picked out for our children! Great personality and very easy to work with!
