Officiant Doug

I don't want this to happen to someone else. He sends you some 'story forms' to fill out where you write all about your partner, your relationship, stories, etc. and send it to him and this is what he uses to write the ceremony readings. We did this and made sure everything looked correct (and have double checked since), but he must use some copy and paste template because what he read at the ceremony was only half correct. He called me by the wrong name 3 different times in the ceremony and had multiple stories about dates and activities we had never done (including a crazy hot air balloon ride that caught everyone's attention to know this was wrong). It was so bad that I almost stopped him in the middle of the ceremony to ask if he had the wrong story. I'm glad I didn't though because I don't think he would've known what was correct and what wasn't and wouldn't have been prepared, so better to just finish the ceremony and talk about it after. My whole family was asking about it afterwards. Again, my husband and me are very easy going people and can laugh things off, but this is his ONE job. Never got an apology either.

Wednesday. Little did we know a hurricane was scheduled to hit. He rescheduled us without a flinch, when I know he could have easily said no. Loved the flexibility of creating our own ceremony that fit US perfectly. Doug was also respectful of COVID and is willing to accommodate to any concerns. Highly recommend!! 5 stars!

reat he was! My husband and I wanted our ceremony to reflect our personalities with a mixture of humor, sarcasm, and sentimental tidbits. Doug delivered all we could have hoped for and more! A few weeks before the ceremony, Doug asked us and some of our closest friends to complete a questionnaire about our relationship. He took the information from the questionnaires to create a beautiful, unique, and personal ceremony. Throughout the 30 minute ceremony, Doug managed to make us all laugh, cry, and laugh some more...it was truly perfect! I would strongly recommend Doug to any couple looking for a ceremony to remember!

family. He customized our vows to fit us perfectly. His devotion to our ceremony was evident. It was as important to him as it was to us. It was a very small ceremony. Just the two of us and Doug. The ceremony was at 6pm & he stayed for cake & champagne til 9pm! You can spend hours reviewing other officiants, but you'd be wasting your time. Doug is family now. I cannot imagine my wedding day without Officiant Doug standing in front of us joining our love together. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you Doug!
