Choosing an officiant was part of the wedding planning checklist we weren't excited about because we didn't know the type of officiant that would resonate with us, not having any religious affiliation or any mentor in our life. We were nervous that we weren't "traditional" enough for someone to be excited about officiating for us. The very first time my husband and I spoke with Brittany, we just KNEW we could cancel all of our other meetings with potential officiants. We found the perfect person to lead us into our marriage. Brittany is so intentional when it comes to getting to know and understand a couple. Immediately during our first phone call, she was asking questions that resonated with us. We could feel that she was already so interested and invested in who we are as individuals, in our partnership, what we were envisioning, and what our ceremony dream was. Leading up to our big day, Brittany was a friend, sending positive thoughts, checking in, and communicating so well. She truly walked us through every step of building the most perfect ceremony. When we finally reached our big day, the ceremony was everything we had been dreaming of. Our ceremony script was so heartfelt and powerful. Many of our wedding guests had assumed Brittany was a close friend or family member because of how well she described us and our love. In fact, she truly was a friend by the time of our wedding. We invited her to stay as a wedding guest for the remainder of the night, and she celebrated us and supported us all the way through! Even post-wedding, she has been such a helpful resource and friend to lean on. Our ceremony was my favorite and most meaningful part of the entire wedding day thanks to Brittany. I truly can't sing her praise loud enough. We feel so lucky to have met her and to now call her a friend. It's safe to say officiating such a special event is Brittany's calling in life!
