I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are to the entire wedding team. Oglebay has been a special part of our entire 10+ year relationship, and choosing to get married there was by far the best decision we could have made. The venue was beautiful and the food was delicious, but it goes so far beyond that for us personally. The care we received from our very first meeting to the day of the wedding was unmatched, and every detail unfolded beautifully. Throughout the evening, we were approached by many of our guests who expressed that ours was the most beautiful and most fun wedding they have ever attended. We were touched, but honestly, none of that would have been possible without the Oglebay wedding team. On the day of our wedding, the entire team came together, even those who we had not met previously. They checked on us, answered our questions, and even made sure we were drinking enough water throughout the day. I never would have expected such caring treatment from a group of strangers, but that is what they provided and more. They showed us genuine care, not just as paying clients, but as human beings facing the most important day of our lives. Every single person who interacted with us was fantastic, but the greatest person of all was our Wedding Specialist: Cassi Mazeska. We had a couple points of contact before Cassi entered the picture about 6 months prior to our wedding. We all hit it off immediately - Cassi became not just our wedding lifeline, but a friend. She joked with us, checked in often, and made this entire process way more fun. On wedding day, she eased our stress by checking in often and making us laugh. She showed us how to cut our wedding pie when we screwed it up. There were hugs and laughter and tears. Cassi worked magic. If we needed her, she would appear at our door like she teleported there. It was amazing. All of this to say - if you are considering Oglebay for your wedding, please do it. You will not regret it. The team there is beyond incredible. They will make your day as magical as they made ours- and we will be forever grateful to them.

Oglebay Resort is a dream come true wedding venue. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or well-organized experience. We had our reception in the Glessner Auditorium. It is an elegant space with wood paneling, high ceilings, and an overall timeless charm. The staff was outstanding! The bartenders and servers were attentive and ensured our guests were taken care of all night. Our venue coordinator, Lauren, was wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. From start to finish of our cocktail hour and reception, the coordination was flawless because of her. Additionally, Lauren was very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. She is very responsive and ensured our reception was everything we hope for and more! Oglebay’s catering was amazing! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and cooked perfectly. From appetizers during cocktail hour to our plated dinner, everything was fresh and flavorful. The bartenders were also great! They were very efficient and professional. We highly recommend Oglebay! It’s a venue that combines the natural beauty of the resort (providing countless picture-perfect locations!), exceptional service, and elegant reception areas. Our guests loved every aspect of our wedding and are still talking about how incredible our reception was. Our dream wedding was truly brought to life thanks to Oglebay!
