Ogunquit Museum of American Art

OMAA was easy to work with from the start. They helped us plan through the winter and went above and beyond the day of the ceremony. The weather was a bit uncooperative right before our wedding - as soon as the chairs were set out for the outdoor ceremony it rained. When it cleared, the two female staff members assigned to assist with our wedding dried all of the chairs and helped everyone scramble to get the site ready again. During the ceremony one of the staff members actually held the sheet music and turned the pages for the harpist we had hired because it was so windy. We were so touched by all of the effort they put into making sure we had our special moment. OMAA is a gorgeous place for a wedding ceremony. You can seat about 100 people out on the lawn overlooking the water. In late June the gardens were in full bloom and lovely as well. The outdoor ceremony site is very close to the water and does experience a lot of weather. It can be perfect and sunny one moment and stormy the next so that is important to keep in mind. However, I found our guests did not care about the weather because the views are so breathtaking. Plus the indoor ceremony site is as beautiful. I highly recommend this venue as it is unique and scenic and has wonderful staff. We were so happy with our ceremony.
