Additionally, I really appreciated her accommodations and flexibility that went along with a “surprise” proposal (showing up early, hiding, etc...). Turn around for the photos was also very fast. I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone looking to capture life’s important moments.

She also had some great suggestions for engagement photo locations and was very flexible when we had to change the date of our engagement photo shoot. On the day of the wedding she was prompt and made us feel very comfortable throughout the day. She did a great job capturing us getting ready, our first look, the ceremony, and our reception dinner. One thing I really enjoyed about her work was how she incorporated the natural surroundings and aesthetics of the venues into our photos. To summarize we are very happy with our photos and would definitely recommend Oh Lovely Wedding to other couples!

She took charge wrangling people, was invisible during our ceremony but captured everything, she found creative backdrops, and looked at our unique elements (like my dress and veil which had fringe) to create once in a lifetime kind of photos. ork, and we're so thrilled she was able to photograph our wedding and engagement shoot. She's very professional, communicative, and easy to work with. Getting photos taken can feel a bit awkward at first, but Amanda made us feel so comfortable and was great at telling us just what to do/how to pose, we felt at ease right away! She and her assistant did a wonderful job during our wedding, they knew all the best places to get photos around the venue, and captured all the details and moments of the day. Not only are the photos absolutely beautiful, but she gets them back to you so FAST! I was amazed by how quick the turnaround was, from delivering sneak peaks, to the full set and final edited photos. The final images are so gorgeous and perfectly capture the feelings and aesthetics of our day. We chose to buy a portrait book from her as well, and it was definitely worth it. The book itself is super high quality, and it's a lovely way to showcase some of our favorite wedding photos. I seriously can't say enough good things about Amanda, and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for an amazingly talented, professional photographer!!

After 3 wedding date changes due to COVID, my husband and I finally got married in September 2022 in San Diego. Amanda stuck with us over the past 3 years and has been so accommodating and flexible with moving us around within her schedule. We are so thankful for her and couldn't imagine our special day without her! First off, a few weeks before our big day I reached out to ask if she could photograph our rehearsal dinner. She rescheduled her flight into San Diego and made herself available to shoot our first family gathering of the weekend. We so appreciated her flexibility and willingness to be there for us!! What a way to start off our wedding weekend. On the day of our wedding, Amanda showed up early and was ready to get the ball rolling! I'm very awkward when it comes to taking pictures and Amanda immediately made me and my bridal party feel right at home! There wasn't one moment where we felt awkward or uncomfortable. Amanda knew exactly what to do every second of the day and was able to make the smallest moments feel so special. She made me feel so beautiful and confident and I am so grateful she was there to capture our wedding. Amanda is very thoughtful with each picture she takes and it showed in our STUNNING wedding pictures. We received our full gallery within 3 weeks of our wedding and I have been so emotional looking through each one. The emotion + joy she was able to capture allowed my husband and I to re-live the best day ever. We have had the toughest time trying to figure out what pictures to put into an album because EVERY SINGLE ONE is absolutely beautiful. I cannot recommend Amanda enough!! THANK YOU!

We wanted a La Jolla engagement shoot and Amanda took our site suggestions and tailored a perfect session for us. She made two awkward dorks super comfortable and look amazingly photogenic. We both look so natural, even in the posed shots, not to mention we thoroughly enjoyed our whole session. We are beyond thrilled with both the raw and final edited shots. We loved that she captured us in different settings at a wide variety of scales. She even got soaked standing in the ocean to get a series of amazing wide shots of us and a cliffside! I can't wait to see the edited versions of the photos we chose! We got married in the mountains in January so we had a bit of rain and it was FREEZING, but it didn't even phase Amanda and her partner. We had quite a large wedding party (20 in all) as well as large amounts of family members- Amanda and her partner seamlessly organized and coordinated taking shots with all involved in a minimal amount of time. We were so thankful to receive 3 sneak peak photos less than 24 hours after the wedding- they were stunning. We received all 2000 of our photos within 2 weeks. We still need to pick our favorites for her to do the final edits, but so many of them look great as is! Our wedding day was a blur of excitement but Amanda's photos were able to bring us back to some of the most intimate and loving moments of our day.

ot only did my fiancé realize he forgot his pants for the photo shoot 20 minutes before we were supposed to meet her at a park but we also got lost! Needless to say we were almost 45 minutes late! Mind you this is in November and it gets dark at 5 pm and we finally arrived at like 4:15! So we only had 40 minutes to get our engagement photos done! I was so frustrated arriving to the park and Amanda was so great and professional not to mention patient!!! Considering meeting a stranger for the first time we were immediately comfortable right from the start as if I have already known her which was so refreshing! But this girl knew what she was doing! Our photos came out so great!!!! Everything was happening so fast cause we were trying to get as many photos before dark so I was a little concerned because we had to rush! But looking at the photos you would have never noticed that these pictures were done in only 40 minutes I mean they are gorgeous!! Everything from the scenery to the poses she had us do and the editing everything was perfect! And a huge thing we were impressed with was the fact that we got our photos back so quickly!! My husband and I were nervous "posing" for our individual photos after the ceremony, but Amanda gave us direction that made us feel comfortable in our own skin and really let us be ourselves. She is very quick to respond to emails, but passes responsibility of arrangements, questions, etc. over to the representative with True Photography. The primary reason we did not pursue is because of that disconnect between client and photographer because they are part of a much larger company. Hope this helps!
