Holly is able to make what seems impossible possible, and makes sure that you are happy with the final product!! We really enjoyed working with Holly as she is kind, professional, and talented! We recommend Holly for any dress alterations that you need!!

It all started with an email to Holly of my vision, and she brought my vision to life and then made it even more perfect than I expected! I keep telling people that Holly saw my vi...
sion and she made my “so you” dress because the second my husband saw me, he said, “oh, that is so you”. Holly thought of every little detail and did exactly what I wanted done to the dress. It was so much fun working with her throughout the process. Highly, highly recommend hiring Holly!

Holly was incredible to work with. She was recommended to me from Emily at Blush Bridal - and I’m so happy she was. She was able to take my wedding gown from beautiful to absolutel...
y stunning. She created the perfect fit while adding some really cool features such as: a beautiful bustle, a lining across the shoulders of my dress so that the sleeves would stay up, and she also added a wristlet so that I was able to hold the train of my dress (plus a little pearl so that it would be easy to spot). I’m in awe of her beautiful work. I highly recommend working with Holly!
I found my wedding dress at a lovely, local shop in Kingston NY called Blush Bridal Boutique. I loved this boutique and my experience with the owner, Emily, so much - but what was ...
even better was her included a recommendation of working with Holly of Oh Sew Perfect. Holly is a professional seamstress with locations in Poughkeepsie and Goshen NY. Pre-pandemic Holly used to work with Emily out of the shop in Kingston, but because of the pandemic, we traveled right to her studio space in Poughkeepsie and her home in Goshen. Both are convenient and easy to get to.
With over 20 years of experience, Holly specializes in bridal gowns, bridesmaids, and mothers' gowns. Holly did an incredible job with my dress and my mom’s mother-of-the-bride dress. She made all of the fixes we wanted in a quick and timely manner. She is a busy woman though so make sure you inquire early. All appointments are private, one on one sessions.
My dress fit perfectly and was ready in perfect time for my special day. Even when I found out I was expecting, Holly made quick adjustments to make sure I was comfortable with my tiny baby bump. I cannot recommend Holly enough. Thank you, Holly, for your care and attention and helping me feel beautiful on my wedding day.

y. She also helped explain in great detail how to hang, store, bustle, and care for the dress. I believed the dress would need minimal alterations, but the changes Holly made transformed the fit and somehow made the dress far more gorgeous. Thank you, Holly!

. I am petite but curvy and Holly made sure my dress fit me like a glove. I had an all lace gown and when we received my dress from the vendor there was a piece of lace missing in the back. My dress shop contacted the vendor and they sent the wrong piece of lace so Holly worked her magic and fixed it for me by hand! Holly is so sweet and is truly talented at what she does. My bridesmaids went to Holly as well and loved her as much as I did! We will definitely be going to Holly for all of our future alterations!
Holly was absolutely amazing for both of my wedding dresses. She had the task of redesigning one with me and she ran with my vision, added her own amazing eye and it was perfect....
She is a fast worker, very courteous, generous with her talent and time and such a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend her!

heavy dress with a long train so the bustle posed a bit of a challenge, but Holly figured it out and it looked beautiful. As a bonus, my sister had a last minute emergency with her maid-of-honor dress and Holly graciously fixed it after work hours and didn't even charge us. I highly recommend Oh Sew Perfect for the most stress-free dress alterations with perfect results!
