Choreographing our wedding dance with Mike and Leah was truly a wonderful experience! He was so supportive and kind throughout the entire process. From the very first moment we fel...
t encouraged and heard. I told him "my mom doesn't think I picked a good song, she said the timing is weird. But this song is really special to me." And he said then we'll just force it to work!" He always knew how to make us laugh. Even the stressful times came out easier with Mike leading the way, he made every big deal seem small and manageable with his fun, simple teaching style. I will never ever forget any of the amazing memories we made learning our dance with Mike and Leah. And I am so happy we found such a supportive, fun, kind teacher. My husband wanted to keep dancing even after our wedding because of Mike. They made sure our dance was elegant, simple, and just as beautiful as I imagined it in my mind. All the guests at our reception were very impressed with our dance, and we are so lucky to have had the opportunity to wow them thanks to Mike!
Michael Scoggins is the best! We cannot say enough good things about him. He’s friendly, professional, encouraging & patient. He makes learning how to dance an enjoyable experience...
. He not only demonstrates each dance step by step section by section but also gives a bit of history about each dance. He is a great teacher. He shows his students that they CAN dance even if they have 2 left feet (LOL)
We love working with Michael so much that we had him choreograph our first dance! He meshed our ideas with his ideas and the result was AMAZING!
Mike was amazing in helping us prepare our four-part first dance (with four different dance styles coordinated to four different songs). He was there with us every step of the way,...
from planning the moves to repeated practice sessions to adjustments when we wanted to alter the routine, to cheering us on during the big day. Mike makes us non-dancers feel like we can accomplish anything (and have so much fun while doing it)!
We had a phenomenal first dance because of Ohio Ballroom! Not only was the teacher knowledgeable, but the lessons were incredibly fun! If you’re looking to jazz up your first dance...
even if you don’t have a lot of dance training, or improve what you already know to really wow your guests I highly recommend Ohio Ballroom!
