Ryan and Mackenzie were wonderful in helping us plan for the wedding. There was good communication and clarity on what we wanted and what would play out during the wedding. He not only curated an amazing playlist but he helped make sure the vibe was right during the whole reception and worked to hype everyone up! He truly knows what he’s doing and is a wonderful DJ! The first time we spoke to Ryan on the phone, we knew he was perfect! He is so passionate about what he does and has a true talent for DJing. One of my biggest things for our wedding day was to make sure people walked away saying “wow that was fun”. Ryan made sure of it. He played awesome music that had guests on their feet all night. He checked in with my husband and I regularly throughout the evening to make sure we were happy. He got our bridal party, parents and grandparents hyped up before our big entrance. We even got to DJ for a little! He made sure we had so many special memories from our wedding day and I can’t thank him enough. Amber was also a joy to work with and made the planning process so easy. She even pushed me to do the song I really wanted for our entrance song and I think it was the best decision of the night! Ryan and Amber were great and easy to work with on the administrative side of things. Our DJ for the day, Dennis, was professional and talented. He diligently directed the timeline of events with our other vendors so that everything flowed smoothly. I was on the dance floor the entire night having the time of my life!

They know how to throw a party!

Ryan and his entire staff are AMAZING. They're worth every single penny if you want your wedding day to run smoothly and to keep your guests on the dance floor! We met with Ryan, the owner, at our initial consult - he asked us questions to get to know us and what we liked, then walked us through the entire process from booking to wedding day, and even showed us a sample of a set he'd play at the wedding. We walked out 100% sure we'd be choosing them to DJ. After we booked, Mackenzie and Amber reached out frequently to make sure we were on track with filling out the documents they sent for song choices and all of the other information they'd need. They were readily available for questions throughout the process as well. We then met with them to create a timeline for the wedding day and get everything finalized to send to Ryan, who DJ'd our day. We talked with Ryan the week of the wedding to go through how the day would run, and this helped alleviate so much stress. You can tell they've done this a million times and have everything down to a T. The day of the wedding, we truly could not have asked for anything more from Ryan and Adamo. They kept us on our timeline, they were constantly checking in with us and our other vendors during set-up to see how they could help, and then they gave us such a fun party. Ryan knows how to get people on the dance floor and keep them there all night. The music selection was exactly what we wanted (from seating at the ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and the reception), he added in requests so seamlessly, and even let us get up behind the booth for a couple songs. Their set-up got so many compliments from our guests as well, it's so cool to see your pictures on the booth throughout the reception. I could not be happier that we went with Ohio DJ Pros - I'd choose them again and again!

Ryan and his team were seriously next level. Ryan is beyond knowledgable about the wedding industry and has the facts to back up not only every recommendation for the timeline of the party but also just general wedding planning. Weeks after the wedding and we still have guests asking us who our DJ was! Ohio DJ pros made the entire planning process SO smooth. They answered every question we had and communicated great throughout the entire process. They created a perfect day of timeline that made the day run so smoothly. Ryan had every guest on the dance floor all night. His music was awesome, he even had us come up and DJ a few songs and all our guests went crazy! We looked up during our wedding dinner and even saw video clips from our wedding on their DJ system that Ryan’s assistant took during the ceremony; it was the coolest thing to rewatch the wedding moments after! Literally Ryan KILLED the game at our wedding. I have so much to say to but dude and his team LISTENED to one word that I said and took that and ran with it. My wedding was everything and more than I dreamed of. Music is key. Music is the vibe. Ryan 100000% brought that and more. Seriously cannot say about about this man. Great person all around as well. Hiring a great DJ wasn’t originally on the top of my list when planning a wedding, but I’m so glad we found Ohio DJ Pros. After our first time talking with Ryan, it was clear there wasn’t another option—Ohio DJ Pros clearly knows what they’re doing and will do more than just play songs. I very much appreciated Mackenzie’s support throughout the process and their coordination with all our vendors to make the event run smoothly. Most important, though, DJ Marcus was absolutely incredible. We didn’t make it easy on him (our request was to have plenty of Taylor Swift but also to make sure our event had a European club vibe…) and somehow Marcus absolutely exceeded expectations and then some. STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND PLEASE READ: I do not leave reviews often, but this one is 100% necessary (and coming from a VERY type-A bride, keep in mind). We hired Ohio DJ Pros for our wedding this past weekend and all I have to say is WOW!!!!!!! Ryan and his team MADE our entire wedding, from start to finish. I'll start by saying Mackenzie, Ryan's assistant, was so easy to work with leading up to the big day, making sure every detail was noted, and that our timeline was put together seamlessly. She was easy to contact, coordinated with my other vendors, and kept the stress of this part of the planning to a minimum. Ryan met with my husband and I initially to discuss every little thing we envisioned for our day and we were sold from the very first meeting. I told him then that I was a professional dancer and that keeping the dancefloor full all night was incredibly important to me. Fast forward to our big day and he upheld every promise made to us in our first meeting, and then some. He brought along his right hand man, Cayden, who was phenomenal and so prepared (not to mention SO much fun to work with!) As a team, Ryan and Cayden made every dream of ours a reality. Not only were our guests RAVING about the music, saying it was the best music they'd ever heard at a wedding, but in terms of MCing, were truly remarkable. We had a lot of unique asks (ie. outdoor ceremony w/ a quick turnaround into an indoor cocktail hour + reception, a super dramatic grand entrance with specific timing we wanted, a surprise father/daughter dance, and more) and EVERYTHING went off without a hitch. They made sure we had drinks in our hands whenever we needed them, they'd check in with us throughout the night to see how everything was going, they created a really fun "hype" moment prior to introductions with us, our families and wedding party, and even let us spin on the turntables at the end of the night, which was one of the highlights of the night for us. When I say this team treated OUR special day as if it were their own, I can attest as the bride that it truly, truly felt that way. They handled the entire day from start to finish with such care, thoughtfulness, and professionalism, all while bringing a fun nature to it all, which made it easy for Zack and I to just focus on each other and allowed us to have the best day of our lives. Ryan's team will MORE THAN deliver on one of the most important days of your life, and I will rave about their service for years and years to come! If you have the ability, please trust me and hire this team... you will not be disappointed!!!

We got married a year ago and had a wonderful experience with Ohio DJ Pros! They definitely know how to deliver a party! Our experience with Ohio DJ Pros and Ryan as our DJ was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, the entire process was a pleasure and so much of the normal wedding stress was alleviated by him and his entire team. We cannot say enough good things about them. The initial meeting was so informative and so reassuring at the same time. Where my husband and I were lost, Ryan walked us through the entire process. After the initial meeting, the following steps were equally as thorough while being streamlined and efficient. The day of our wedding was perfect. Ryan and his team kept the entire event flowing seamlessly from beginning to end. Him and his team were there to cue us down the aisle at the exact right moment, record some awesome video clips (that were played on the DJ booth during the reception!), introduce us to our guests at the reception, keep all of our guests engaged (including our son and our DOG at the turn tables!), and stay right by our side through the whole night. We hired Ohio DJ Pros for our wedding and could not be more thankful! Ryan did an incredible job since the moment we first met with him. He is dedicated and incredibly talented in what he does. From the very beginning, he had a vision and plan to execute my wedding exactly as I asked. He is incredibly organized throughout the process, using online technology to keep track of your schedule, music selections, etc. His set up was stunning and matched the vibe perfectly. Since my wedding, I have heard nonstop complements about the music and how great the dancing and party was! He played such a great mix. We went with Ohio DJ Pros for our wedding and are so happy we did. We booked them a little under a year before our date and they communicated with us the whole way through, every step of the way. Whenever I had a question or wanted to schedule a meeting they were always able to come through. Our initial meeting with Ryan was so insightful. He answered all our questions and ran through what the planning process would be like with them. He even already had our DJ and backup DJ planned for our event. Ryan even gave us a demo of what we could expect! And since we were early on in our planning, he gave us tips as well! We were also able to book our photo booth through Ohio DJ Pros. It made it so much easier not having to find another vendor. There were so many different options from the type of photo booth to the type of backdrop we wanted. We had DJ Dame and he was FANTASTIC! He not only communicated with us throughout the night with how he was planning on getting more people on the dancefloor, but he also joined us and danced along too! He was so energetic and upbeat throughout the night. Our guests loved him! He also made sure to check with us on song requests guests had and turned down certain songs that we added onto our do not play list. He made sure everything we asked for happened. He even went above and beyond and fanned me, to help me cool down, when he saw I was looking for where the cold air was coming from. He definitely made our day even more unforgettable than it already was. We couldn't suggest a better crew.

A good DJ was a top priority for my husband and I. Both of our family’s love to dance and have a good time. With that being said, I couldn’t have imagined having a better DJ than Ryan. He was professional, responsive, reliable and realistic with us from start to finish. We have never booked a dj for anything before so we were questioning what we wanted to spend. In our first meeting Ryan laid out every expense and explained why his price is what it is. They essentially do half DJ work and half wedding coordination because they plan a whole timeline and give a lot of advice and direction. Mackenzie, who planned our timeline, was so helpful and understanding of our busy schedule. She didn’t harass us with calls or emails but also made sure everything f was set for the day of. Also Cayden was in attendance day off and he was amazing! He was the videographer and did such a good job keeping everyone having a good time. He is very skilled. I regret not hiring him as a paid videographer! We haven’t stopped hearing how fun our dance floor was and how surprised people were at the amount of people on the dance floor all night. Wish I could give more stars.

Ryan and McKenzie were amazing to work with. Very organized and made sure that we were on the same page prior to the wedding with order of events, announcements and dancing. Ohio DJ Pros were incredible! They listened closely to our requests and last minute changes, and basically ran our reception out for us so we didnt have to stress about moving from one thing to the next. They were timely, organized and FUN and incorporated a few special traditions that we wanted. All of our guests kept complimenting them, and one of our guests afterwards even booked them for their son`s upcoming wedding. We had so much fun on our wedding thanks to Ryan and Cayden! They made sure the bride and groom were taken care of, and even ran and grabbed us beverages when needed. Definitely recommend, we never left the dance floor once things got moving!

DJ OK was the absolute best dj! He made our reception great and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night! He was able to feel out the crowd to keep music coming that everyone loved. We used Ohio DJ Pros for our wedding in December 2022 We can't say enough good things about Ryan and his crew! They made our night one to remember. Ryan kept our guests engaged the whole night and there was never a dull moment. Ryan asked my now husband and I the whole night if we needed another drink, were happy with how things are going and if there was anything we felt we needed. If you're worried about your guests crashing half way through the night, this team will definitely keep that from happening. I attended a wedding in Cleveland where these guys were the entertainment company and they totally killed it! The flow throughout the night was amazing and every song had people out of their seat. I have been to multiple weddings and none of them had the energy that Ohio Dj Pros brought!

I had the pleasure of going to two wedding with DJ Ryan and my own wedding with DJ OK. Both were amazing, they hype up the crowed, very fun and played music that would best fit your vibe. The songs blend in with each other so there’s no awkward silent between songs. All 3 weddings had a packed dance floor and I didn’t want the party to end. My 10/22/22 wedding felt like a dance club and it was the best time ever. I highly recommend to family/friends for their future weddings. Ryan and his team did an absolutely amazing job at my daughter’s wedding! The dance floor was nothing but full the entire night. Ryan is by far the absolute best at what he does! He made sure that both my husband and myself had everything we needed constantly throughout the night! Even grabbed us water after our ceremony because it was so hot out. He made it such an amazing and fun environment and my guests and ourselves had an absolute blast! From his set up, lights he had put all around the dance floor, the slideshow on his dj stand with photos of us, the whole entire day went SO smoothly and we have him to thank. When we first met with Ryan, we loved him, though he was a little out of our price range and we were paying for the wedding ourselves so we really had to stay on budget, but let me tell you I would pay that again and again. They not only DJ your wedding but help you plan out all the details, timeline, etc! You can tell he truly loves what he does and cares about each and every one of his clients! The absolute best DJs you can get for your wedding. Everybody LOVED Omar he did amazing, actually 3 weeks out and thats still all any of us talk about. Working with this team was so easy and stress free even during crazy Covid times! They worked so well with moving dates and being understanding. We honestly couldnt have asked for better! Being a wedding videographer I have to start this review by telling you all two things about weddings. 1 - Almost all weddings have the same exact songs 2 - Virtually NO wedding stays on time or goes exactly as planned. If either one happened I couldn't tell. Which is exactly what you want on a wedding day. Being a vendor, I've been to a lot of weddings, and hearing the same music makes real boring. Boquet toss they didn't play "All the single ladies." Thank God! Also, I'm sure they played a few songs that every wedding has, but it didn't feel like it. Everyone including the older people was out on the floor having a good time. The speech audio was clear. The lighting was good for the speeches and first/family dances; fun during the open dance floor time. Also, selfishly, they did a great job communicating with vendors and the couple to see if they were ready for the next thing to happen. It was a great time and if you hire them you won't be disappointed. - PS: For what it's worth,I listened to the DJ audio I recorded for the couple we both worked with. It's the best audio quality I've heard yet!

Ryan and his team were beyond amazing. They not only were extremely detailed and helpful during planning but went above and beyond the day of. I was worried about not having a wedding coordinator but Ryan and his team squashed any concerns and practically filled that role! They kept everyone moving and informed during all parts of the day. They also gave us plenty of notice and time to prepare for the big moments as they were coming up during our reception. The music was on point and there wasn’t one second that people weren’t up and dancing all night. We received SO many compliments from our guests on how amazing our DJ was. They truly were worth every single bit and we’re so happy we chose them for our big day.

PLEASE READ!!! I do not do reviews often, but this one was mandatory. I already know the first thing you will look at is the price tag for Ohio DJ Pros. They are a little more expensive than most but trust me when I tell you, the extra money is more than well spent. Ryan is not a typical DJ that you find at a wedding, the light shows and the entrance coordination is top-notch, and unlike other DJs, he doesn't have the package fees. He has the one cost, and what he shows up with will blow your mind. Throughout the night, he will add to the fun, yet at the same time maintain an extremely professional demeanor. I am always a prude when it comes to my finances, and I was very hesitant to pay the extra cost for Ryan; however, the return on investment was more than what we ever dreamed of at our wedding. You have one shot at making your wedding perfect, and you don't want to have regrets about it later. After having Ryan there, I can promise you that you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least consider this company.

Ryan did awesome! He was there and set up early and was ready to go by the time we were. He helped make sure everything ran smoothly. Ryan was absolutely amazing and very hands on. He took the time to meet with us and explained all details clearly and thoroughly. When COVID 19 reared its ugly head, I was afraid we would lose our vendors. Unfortunately our original DJ with Ohio DJ Pros passed away due to COVID 19. As hard as this tragedy was for Ryan and his team, Ryan stepped up as the DJ for our wedding and assured me that as long as Ohio mandates were being followed and weddings were allowed, he would be there for us. We worked with Ryan and his amazing assistant, Melinda over the next few months. Being a part of their creative process was a treat. They considered every detail and were very accommodating. My husband and I both work 60+ hours a week so we would be planning the wedding at all different kind of hours and different days of the week. Ryan and Melinda were there for us no matter the time of day. They were organized, clear, helpful with suggestions, and over all made the entire process very easy. The hours and time that they put in really showed at our wedding. Ryan coordinated with our vendors, ensured that everything went smooth, and kept my husband and I very comfortable throughout our special day. Ryan even contacted me for pictures to add a special touch- a beautiful slideshow- up at the DJ booth. When it came to one of my most favorite parts of the wedding, dancing!, Ohio DJ Pros nailed it! All of our friends were dancing, even the ones that swore to me that they wouldn't dance! Ryan understands people and knows how to bring the best out of people through music, which is a skill that I will forever be grateful for. We danced the night away, Ryan and his assistant Jeff ensured that we were comfortable all evening, and the whole event was magical. From the lights to the music to the execution of all special moments, Ryan made every second memorable and outstanding. My friends and family were impressed. Overall, Ohio DJ pros played a huge role, if not the biggest, in making our wedding day the absolute most perfect day of our lives! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Ryan was there hours before our wedding to set up and go over details with me, but more importantly he calmed me down and made me feel comfortable. His set up was amazing and he catered to us and our family all night. He kept everything moving smoothly and had every detail thought out. His timing was impeccable. Everyone had a great time on the dance floor, from our grandparents to our crazy friends. He brought everyone together, and that’s exactly what we wanted. We booked Ohio DJ Pros for our February wedding immediately after our first meeting with the owner, Ryan Layman, and it was absolutely the right choice. In the month leading up to the wedding, Ryan helped us map out the schedule, choose ceremony music that would both appeal to our many traditional guests and still feel personal to us (a couple of hard rockers), and even made sure to coordinate his suit to match our wedding colors. On the day of, he worked with our team to ensure that the evening went smoothly, kept the party on track, and somehow still found time to check up on us. Because of Ohio DJ Pros, our reception was the raging 90's dance party we wanted it to be. We had such a great experience with Ryan and Ohio DJ Pros, and cannot recommend them enough.

Ryan and team were absolutely professional and made our reception better than we could have imagined. Everything from our introductory meeting and prep work, to the day of presence and atmosphere they provided was top of the line value. They followed our wishes, no matter how much pressure was put on them by guests at the wedding. When things were slowing down a bit as far as people on the dance floor, they knew exactly how to get people back out there and dancing! They're amazing! From the first time that we met with Ryan, we knew we wanted him and Ohio DJ Pros to DJ our wedding. Ryan took the time to go over all of the details with us and give us his advice to help make our night perfect. He was even willing to help out with anything we needed the days leading up to the wedding and the day of. Ryan was absolutely amazing, he worked independently with our caterer and photographer, he was on top of everything at all times, never missed a beat. The wedding was in a backyard with some complicated/unconventional elements and Ryan helped make sure everything was flawless. We had multiple people, including our photographer comment on how good he was. Ryan had everyone of all ages up on the face floor all night! I highly recommend Ohio Dj Pros, they are 100% worth it!

These guys honestly made my wedding night! Ryan Layman is an amazing and clearly experienced DJ who puts his heart and soul into what he does and into making sure his client's big day is absolutely perfect. He communicates efficiently and is always readily available for any questions you have even outside of the music aspect of your wedding. Dealing with this company was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Ryan and his crew were so good to us. They covered every single detail in advance and helped us with all of the planning. The setup was SICK! My wife left finding the Dj up to me and boy did I win her over. The sound, the lighting, Ryan's creative taste in music selection, the whole thing was just that damn good. Countless people came up to us saying "where did you find him" "I wish we would have had him at our wedding" and so on. Ryan and the entire ODJP team were awesome to work with. There was never a thought of looking at another DJ. We were lucky enough to experience Ryan's DJing at a work event over the past two summers. Not only is he professional, but he knows what he is doing. His djing is hands down, the best. On our wedding night, we never had a lack of people breaking it down, thanks to ODJP! One of the reasons we love his style is his mixing. He can mash up artists like Queen while incorporating modern beats from 50 cent.
