My family and I have been patrons of Ohlson's for years as it is in our neighborhood. Since we knew the quality of their baked goods, we knew the quality of our wedding cake would ...
be no different and we were correct! It was beautiful and tasted delicious. We went with fresh flowers as part of our design on the cake and the bakery did a nice job of making it look elegant. The only small detail I would have changed was that our cake topper said "Mr and Mrs" and the way the topper was inserted with the flowers only the "Mr" was visible. Besides that I wouldn't have changed a thing. We recommend Ohlson's!
Lisa was so easy to work with! She gave us exactly what we wanted! My husband loves lemon poppy seed which she was able to make into a delicious cake! It was simple but beautiful. ...

d frostings ever! The price was also reasonable as they have a special series of cakes that went for $200 less than their competitors and was still exactly what I wanted and was looking for. The cake was stunning and delicious and they will even make a free anniversary cake for you the next year! Also note that I looked at this bakery based off of another bride's recommendations and have been telling future brides about it as well.

was amazed with the quality of the cake. She did an amazing job and did exactly what I wanted from ideas I got from Pinterest. I would use them again for any future cakes. Plus she was one of the cheaper cake places, and we will get an anniversary cake for free at the 1 year point! I’d definately recommend them! Amazing cake - I’m a dessert person and can be hard to impress- they surpassed my expectations by far! Well done ohlsons!

The tasting was amazing, the three most popular cakes were delicious. Even though I had a very small wedding, I was still able to do a small 3 tier cake with a different flavor in...
each tier. The cake turned out very nicely and the bakery sends you your own small anniversary cake so you don't have to save or eat the top layer 1 year later.
They were very easy to work with and created a cake that served 85 that was beyond lovely. It also tasted delicious! I am so happy we used them!

The cake was lovely just as we had talked about. However I was a bit disappointed b/c the cake was not as fresh tasting as when we had samples in the store
Lisa did such a fantastic job for us, everything was so perfect. I got so many compliments on the cake-the taste and the design!
Ohlson's Bakery did a wonderful job on my wedding cake. We were looking for something simple, and they have a '300 Club' - choose from 4 styles of cakes that serve 130 guests for ...
just $300. It was perfect for our needs. The best part is...they give you a new cake on your one year anniversary so you don't have to eat the freezer-burned one a year later! If you're not looking for simple, this is still the place to go - they have so much to offer! And you cannot beat the taste - we were able to choose 3 different flavors for the 3 layers, but I wish we had done all almond! It's the BEST!
I tried their cake and a wedding show and was sold then, but they also came highly recommended. Went in for our consultation and went well so we put down a deposit. Were very easy ...
to work with and gave me exactly what I wanted. Red velvet cake with a chocolate butter cream/fudge frosting. Everyone who ate cake had multiple pieces. It was fantastic and you get a top layer free on your anniversary! I can't wait!

e their cakes - two things even the "fancy" bakeries in town have either admitted to doing or an employee told me they do.
I had seen a gorgeous cake on tv as part of a celebrity wedding and I could never find a picture and when I described it to bakers they just didn't seem to understand. I walked into Ohlson's and the seas parted and there was the cake I had been searching for! The exact thing I wanted :)
My step mom's cousin's actually own this bakery so that was why we decided to go with them. But I had also heard amazing things about them from other people. They literally made my...
dream wedding cake for us! When I walked into my reception and saw my cake my heart melted with the amazing job they had done with my cake. Originally I went in there with just a picture of what I wanted and they took that and turned around into the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. I had high expectations for them because I knew they did beautiful work, but my cake was even more beautiful than I thought it could be. And it also tasted so wonderful.
Ohlson's bakery was wonderful! The cake looked beautiful and it was delicious! Ohlson's just rolled out a new wedding option, there are about 5 cakes that if you order the exact re...
plica of the cake with no changes, it's reasonably priced at $300 ( and that was a 3 tier cake that fed 200 people!) I would highly recommend Ohlsons to anyone! Stop in there for breakfast and check out their work!
Ohlson's was a great place. Lisa is very personable and accomendating. We had a family member who was celebrating their birthday at our wedding and we wanted to make sure it was ...
special for them. So we asked for a cupcake for him. We were able to get that cupcake and it made the person's day!
The cake was delicious and beautifully decorated. Not a bit dry. My only complaint is that they reversed the order of the layers. I wanted the chocolate-raspberry to be the middl...
e layer, and instead it was the tiny top layer. Also, it did not taste like raspberry in the LEAST. But the other two flavors (almond and vanilla-strawberry) were very good. The guests very much enjoyed it.
So happy chose Olson's for our wedding cake! It came out beautiul and just what we wanted!
Ohlsons worked with me every step of the way to make my wedding cake of my dreams. It was absolutely STUNNING! Everything I asked for was done. The cake is so delicious! I got my s...

About two months before our wedding, the lady who was going to make our cake informed us that she would not be able to because she was diagnosed with cancer. My heart went out to h...
er and I instantly started calling places we already went to. Ohlson's was our second choice, and the only reason we didn't use them was because of the cost. However, they were still open so we booked it. We also had a cake topper brought from Ireland, and they took care of it and brought it to the reception hall. The cake was beautiful. I couldn't have asked for anything better. And, I gave them freedom to make it however they thought would look best after giving them an idea of what I wanted. I was thrilled with the cake, wish I could have kept it forever!
We had a watermelon theme wedding and the bakery matched that theme perfectly with the cake. Loved it!
The service was top notch and the cake was gorgeous...and delicious!
My cake fromo Ohlson's was amazing...3-tiered, damask piping with hot pink and lime green gum paste flowers!!! It was raspberry marble with raspberry buttercream filling...amazing!...
The cake was gorgeous and everyone at Ohlson's was a pleasure to work with...I still drive 45 minutes there just to get cupcakes and eat at th bistro!!!
I purchased my wedding cake here, in the beginning I loved working with the store owner who was extremly nice and the prices were extremely reasonable. We met about 4 times to go o...
ver the design details and flavor samples. When I arrived at the reception hall I was very disappointed! The cake design and color was nothing like we had spoken about and agreed on. Also, the cake was supposed to be a rasberry marble cake with barvarian cream in the center which I loved and selected during the sample tasting. The cake I got was not at all what I had sampled. It was not marble but instead all vanilla with rasberry and barvarian cream both together in the center, which did not taste good! Like the good old saying goes, You get what you pay for!!!
We went in for a consult two weeks before our wedding because we had been out of town. We were able to taste test and order that day. I loved the Almond cake with Buttercream filli...
ng. They had great customer service and the cake looked beautiful and tasted great the day of the wedding. Another great plus is they make a top layer for you a year later to eat for your anniversary for free. WONDERFUL and can not wait to eat more deliciousness next year!
Absolutely gorgeous and reasonably priced. We had carrot cake and spice cake and both were delicious! We got many complements. The other nice thing is they make you a fresh cake...

n, you get to sample the cake....MMMM!! It is SOOOO delicious! We got almond cake with raspberry filling, and it was definitely yummy! The cake was very pretty, and very similar to the photo we gave the decorator as an example. Although the cake was a little expensive, we were very happy with the finished product. :)
First of all go and try their cookies and cakes and if that does not sell you, make an appointment with Lori.
She is local and sweet and genuine and not only provided our cake, ...
but provided a Grooms cake the nite before, AND all the cookies for late nite cookie station. They are THAT amazing we had them do it all.
She has books of completed cakes that they've made to give you suggestions and delivers it promptly and makes sure that it is displayed well and looks stunning.
I've seen many places drop it off and leave and she is NOT that kind of a baker.
yum. So amazing, so delicious and absolutely price appropriate.
JUST how we designed it and delicious! Very pleased
Ohlson's was fabulous! We opted for a smaller wedding cake for the head table and a variety of cakes, pastries, and brownies for our guests. Ohlson's was very helpful in helping ...
us select the right quantity and variety for our wedding guests. Everything was delicious...it was all eaten at the reception!
Ohlson's was resonably priced and wsa the best atsting cake I have ever had at a wedding. We also order brownies, cheesecake, and cookies that were just as yummy. The only thing th...
at rubbed me the wrong way was the attitude I got when we told them to speak with the florist to dicuss the arrangements that needed to be made to place the topper the day of the wedding. The expected me to pick up the flowers and personally bring them to the bakery which is 40 mins away the day before my wedding! Other than that I thought they were fabulous!

The Cake was beautiful and decorated just as my daughter asked. It was almond chocolate and very good. I would have like to taste alittle more almond.
