Okay Dance

Hi my name is Debra Endres, owner of Okay Dance here in Loveland, Colorado since 2007. The name comes from 'Okay...Let's Dance' let's bring out the passion in you. After teaching my own daughters' their first dance, watching how their confidence and joy grew learning with their fiancées- I was hooked on teaching the First Dance. I've been teaching singles and couples how to dance for over 25 years and have learned so much on what works and what doesn't. I've learned I need to approach teaching couples learning for their first dance differently than others. The wedding couple needs to have a finished product in a short amount of time, so the method to get there needs to match. Since it is the leaders who have most of the responsibility with the direction on the dance floor the leader needs to have confidence early on not to become overwhelmed. It's helpful for the leader to have a 'sequence' that is followed throughout the dance rather than just a haphazard set of patterns. It shouldn't be choreographed unless this is the intent of the couple and that they have enough time to practice and accomplish their goal. I've seen much beauty and joy come from couples when they learn together, growing in communication, finding something they can do together, learning how to express themselves through dance - and then dancing at events and special occasions, a skill they can use for ever. With this experience I have developed an easy and fun way for couples to learn to dance and create a magical and memorable moment that fits their personality. Services Offered I will help make your wedding day dream dance a reality by providing you with quality dance instruction. You have the option to create your first dance using the beautiful styles of Waltz, Foxtrot, Foxy, Latin, Country, Salsa, Tango, Jazz, Disco, West Coast Swing, Lindy or maybe some line dance etc. Together we'll create a dance worthy to show others, a fun one to remember and dance you can use throughout your life.
