John was amazing to work with. The ceremony was beautiful and John made our special day even more special.
Impressed! That is the best word to describe every aspect of our experience with John. He was consistent, patient, and easy to work with. John kept us informed the whole time (from 9 months out to 9 hours out) and let us make any changes that we wanted regarding our ceremony. He helped out with many other questions that we had too.
One of the biggest compliments we received was from our families and how they absolutely adored John as an officiant. He ran the show in the best way. I would recommend him for any ceremony!
John did an incredible job for our wedding. He wrote a beautiful piece that was specific to us and our unity ceremony that our family talked about for weeks later. We would recommend him for any bride and groom looking for someone to make their day even more special.
Choosing a wedding officiant is the most important and difficult part of planning a wedding if you are not using clergy. We were referred to John by a dear friend, and I am so glad we listened!! Before he allowed us to book him, we video conferenced and talked about our wedding day. He was a perfect fit for us, and we enjoyed getting to know him before booking him! He sent us a bunch of information to help with planning our wedding outside of just the officiating. The information he sent to plan our ceremony was amazing! We were able to customize his "script" for our ceremony. He even inserted things we said about each other! Our ceremony was super personal, perfectly timed (not too long and not too fast), and flowed smoothly. John had some amazing things he suggested and did that ensured our pictures were perfect! He stayed with us through taking pictures and even some of our ceremony. Our experience with John was incredible! We highly suggest using him for your ceremony!
John was a great officiant! We had a short wedding timeline (About 9 weeks!) and had to communicate primarily through email and John was on it. He helped create the perfect ceremony that fit our relationship and was a wonderful communicator. He was able to command the ceremony without being too overpowering and made us feel at ease during the whole process. Truly great!

John did an excellent job tailoring our ceremony to fit how my husband and I wanted to express our love and commitment with a simple ceremony. He was onsite at our venue to fill in my husband on the cues of the ceremony. John knows how to orchestrate a wedding ceremony with any variable that may happen. It was a perfect day.
Pastor John Snelson was the perfect officiant for my recent wedding. He was so great at putting my husband and I at ease during the planning process, was always one email/phone call away if we had questions or needed recommendations during the planning process, and wrote the most eloquent and personal speech for our ceremony- he really captured our vision. He was the leader we desperately needed during the rehearsal and was very social with my family and wedding guests throughout the weekend. Definitely recommend!!
We chose John T. as our wedding efficient because upon meeting him, he seemed very confident that he writes custom ceremonies for many weddings. However, when it came to writing the ceremony basically from scratch, I had to reconstruct much of what he wrote and correct many grammatical errors. I felt that there was not much time and effort spent in his revisions until the very end. At last, we ended up being satisfied and have received many compliments that the ceremony was beautifually worded. In addition, John T. was very helpful in obtaining our marriage license.
John is probably one of my most favorite people I've ever met. He stayed in contact with me throughout our long engagement and really made us feel like he was there for us and that we were a priority. He had helpful info and tips along the way and always offered to help with anything we needed. He made us feel SO comfortable. From the start we knew he was cool with everything - a religious ceremony, a non-religious ceremony...whatever we wanted. We've had so many of our guests contact us while on our honeymoon to tell us how wonderful our officiant was. He conducted the best ceremony I've ever heard and I'm so grateful that he was part of our special day!
John was AMAZING. He wrote our vows custom to us and our story and he was amazing to work with. My husband had a hearing impairment and he spent extra time making sure he was comfortable with everything before the ceremony. He took time to get to know our families and us during our rehearsal as well. It could not have gone better. I will recommend John to everyone I know!
John is awesome!!! If you want someone who knows what there doing and gives friendly advice this is your guy. He answered all the questions and concerns I had quickly and thoroughly. Would highly recommend!
John was awesome!! He communicated with me by email because I was overseas planning. He made sure to answer all of my questions and sent me plenty of ideas and different ceremony layouts. We spoke with him on the phone the night before and worked out the last minute details. He was flexible and able to adjust the ceremony on the fly because we added a rock signing. He even added a few lines for my tears!! I would recommend him to everyone!
