Old Fort Jackson was such an incredible location for our wedding. The team with CHS, especially Julia Keating, helped us throughout the entire process even when we had to make last-minute decisions due to inclement weather. Super supportive to all other vendors and made our dreams a reality. Highly recommend!
Old Fort Jackson was the perfect setting for our wedding. Julia was a great contact and was wonderful during our planning process. She recommended a wonderful lighting service (Eddie Kimmer), was accommodating to all of our other vendors, and even helped collect some oyster shells from around the venue for us to use as decor on our tables. We included a cannon firing at the end our ceremony and had a fire pit for smores. All in all it made for a one of a kind ceremony setting and was memorable for all who attended. Thank you so much for helping us have the perfect wedding day!
As soon as we saw OFJ, we wanted to have our wedding there. It is on the water and very appropriate for our military wedding. Everyone who attended had a blast. There was so much to see and experience. There were ships that would come by on the water and my guests were very impressed. The cannon firing added such a unique touch. However, I would NEVER book this venue without having a wedding planner. Getting details from the coordinator was as tedious as pulling teeth. Thankfully my wedding planner and I toured the venue one last time and met with some of the soldiers. They had a lot more information to offer that Natalie just forgot to mention or something.
Old For Jackson was such a unique place for our wedding! It was also much more affordable for the Savannah area than a lot of other venues. Natalie was so prompt in responding to all my emails. Only down fall is limited time to set up (unless you pay the fee to set up earlier) and it does take a little bit of work to turn this rustic fort into a wedding venue. Nonetheless, it makes for such a fun place to get married and there are countless opportunities for great photos! Oh and the cannon firing is totally worth the additional fee! So glad we chose OFJ for our big day!
We loved having our reception here. The soldiers and cannon added a unique touch and there was plenty of room to move around and explore the fort.
