My Husband and both graduated from ASU and the Venue at Old Main was a perfect fit. We fell in love from the moment we toured with Kristin and sampled the food with Atlasta Catering. This was the perfect place for a wedding. Kristin and the Atlasta staff were caring and creative and made our day the special day that it was. We highly recommend this venue because of the ability to make it exactly what you dream for you big day. (We even had Sparky attend our wedding!) The ability to go super modern or keep the traditional feel makes this venue perfect. We loved getting married here almost as much as we love each other. Thanks Kristin and Atlasta for making our day awesome!
I absolutely loved the Venue at Old Main. The ceremony can be held in multiple locations outdoors (I had mine in front of Old Main by the Fountain)and the scenery is gorgeous. The reception is held inside the Carson Ballroom, a beautiful space with a very romantic ambiance. Everyone raved about the food too. Also, Kristin (the coordinator) was so great to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was how I imagined it. One of the desserts got smashed during transport and she immediately took it to her cake decorator (who didn't bake it) to get it fixed before the guests arrived. I would definitely recommend the Venue at Old Main.
The venue was beautiful! Like a Fairytale! Everything went Perfectly!
I recently had my wedding at the Venue at Old Main. It is a beautiful location for the ceremony and reception. The wedding coordinator there, Kristin, went above and beyond. I had a couple special requests and she accomodated them willingly. She also found a couple decorative things for me even though, I didn't pay for decorations through the venue. I highly recommend this place for your wedding. The venue itself is a little expensive, but their caterer (Atlasta) makes simple, great tasting food at a very inexpensive price when you compare with other vendors.
I couldn't tell you enough good things about my experience getting married at Old Main. I had a quick engagement (only 3 months) and everyone told me I would have a hard time planning it in that short period. Not so! Kristin Sanchez is the wedding coordinator at ASU and she is a dream come true. She worked with me to make all of my wishes come true and keep me in budget! She offered me vendors she suggested, gave us multiple menu tastings and even helped my sisters decorate the day of and the night before! I had the ceremony at the Secret Garden on campus (Kristin's suggestion) and we heard nothing but chirping birds :) It was the perfect setting for my intimate garden wedding and the reception at Old Main was perfect as well! The Historic building made for beautiful photographs! My guests keep telling me not only how beautiful it was, but also how delicious the food was. Highly recommend it as they take care of most of everything: food, alcohol, rentals, wedding coordinator...one stop shopping means a stress free wedding!
The interior of the building had recently been remodeled so the site was beautiful. The venue was very special to us since we are both graduates of the University.;If you plan on doing anything outside - be aware that you will hear any construction on University Avenue - even though it seems far enough away that you wouldn't hear it. Construction on University Avenue was louder than the airplane traffic that we had prepared for.
