I was most impressed with Katie's ability to translate my inarticulate vision into florals that completely transformed our ceremony and reception space and exceeded my wildest dreams. From the go, Katie understood what I was looking for, was super easy to talk to, was prompt and responsive throughout the process and stayed within budget. Katie is truly the best of the best. My daughter was married on 10/17/20 at Irongate. I, the bridal party and the other guests were in awe of her artistry. Her arrangements were breath taking and contemporary. The wedding arch was one of the prettiest I have ever seen. I know that my daughter really enjoyed working with Katie which makes a mother's heart happy. She was very accomodating with the ever changing needs of a pandemic wedding. Katie was amazing to work with. She talked with my daughter a couple of times and she completely understood exactly what she wanted. The wildflower arrangements and table scape were unbelievable. She even took my last minute requests and made them happen! She made a huge statement piece at the ceremony and on the chandelier in the barn. We could not have been happier!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic... Katie did the most phenomenal job! After one meeting, she totally “got” my daughters vision and vibe She was extremely easy to work with and bottom line had the most exquisite flowers ! A friend recommended Katie and Old Slate Farm when we began planning our daughter’s October 2019 wedding. We couldn’t have been more pleased! Words cannot describe how beautiful Katie made our wedding. We used her flowers and candles for our wedding. She went above and beyond my vision! I cannot tell you how many people came up to me asking me who our florist was for our wedding. The number of compliments I received on the flowers and the styling of our venue is more than I can count. Katie is such a creative and passionate person. She is so sweet and you can tell that she loves what she does. Like really loves it. Like puts her heart and soul in it, builds arbors, grows her own flowers, comes up with crazy cool ideas for table settings - like fresh fruit with candles and greenery? HELLO. Unreal. She worked closely with our Coordinator & Stylist to not only create the most beautiful floral arrangements but to also set up and style the venue. She and her team were there in the heat making our day this beautiful, magical, vision of a wedding that I could have never even dreamed for myself. I cannot recommend Katie highly enough!! She created the dreamiest bohemian bouquets for our wedding, along with large potted succulents, boutonnieres, corsages, cake flowers, and centerpieces. She also did some of our table decor, with pink silk runners and brass candlesticks with long taper candles. Everything turned out spectacular. Plus, Katie is an awesome person, easy to talk to, and very down to earth and personable.

Katie did SUCH a great job with our flowers! She worked with us to meet our budget and went over and beyond our expectations. Her bouquets and boutonnieres were absolutely beautiful. Her work is very earth-y and natural-looking, and the garden-style bouquet that she put together worked perfectly in our greenhouse venue! We definitely recommend Katie to anyone and everyone!
